This team stinks at WR evaluations and commitment. Same with defensive line, though I still think Groot has growth left to realize in his game (i.e., mostly on the consistency side vs anything additional athletically), and, like Kramer, may have fallen ass backwards into money with the Deonte Walker pick.

If that’s the case, and Beane does nothing to at least attempt to address our shortcomings, this season will end just like all the rest have. We may win the division (though that isn’t certain at this point), and get in the playoffs, this defense is in shambles and receivers can’t separate consistently enough to win the whole thing. Even our wins have been a struggle.

Should be brought in here to start for Rapp ASAP. Rapp is cooked.

Inexcusable

Agreed. Two late round picks. Credit to Beane, he’s been decent at finding some players in later rounds to contribute. But he’s been absolute trash at using our top assets in the draft and FA with making any meaningful additions to the team. The problem? Terry will never bail on either of these guys. He hasn’t bailed on Kevin Adams and that joke of a franchise, he isn’t bailing on Beane (or McD for that matter). Not even sure I’d trust him to pick the right guy if he did.
