  1. Steelers might want to start…you know…playing. Wake up!
  2. Who didn’t see him picking Lamar? This guy is one of the biggest blowhards going.
  3. Russ running in quicksand. Man I hate VanNoy.
  4. I didn’t say they weren’t better. Just not worlds better that the media is making it out to be. Especially when you factor in if Josh needed to play in every game and not go vanilla game plan for a lot of the last month of the season (instead of sitting out boat races in the 4th qtr or the last Cheats game) a lot of his stats likely would’ve been the same or better. Look, I got no problem with Lamar being offensive player of the year or first team all pro QB if you’re going purely off stats. Lamar has had a great season and has earned that. My problem is that first team all pro QB has been a lock for MVP forever. If you think the AP MVP voters are capable of such nuanced thinking this year where they are able to distinguish first team all-pro from MVP as a stats vs. moments/context award and give it to Josh Allen, then I’ll eat crow. You won’t hear nary a word from me on that because I think that’s completely fair and consistent with what they told us last year. But…that type of thinking, with the precedent that has been set with the historical correlation between first team all pro QB and MVP, it is not on our side.
  5. Not sure, but, according to the Athletic, every QB who has been First Team all pro since 2013 has been the MVP. I’ve never been more confident going into a game now than I am this weekend.
  6. Not according to Florio who is a voter: https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/all-pro-voting-points-to-lamar-jackson-as-mvp
  7. These guys done f’d up now. Josh is going to go scorched earth. FAFO.
  8. Oh I agree. It’s coming. Never mind Lamar’s stats aren’t that much better and Josh has sit out the equivalent of two full games because they didn’t need the game (pats) or they were kicking the other teams ass so badly he could sit. Clowns. F them.
  9. F them. Wouldn’t put it past them to find a way to screw him out of MVP too. I hope Josh goes nuclear in the playoffs.
  10. From a talent perspective, Josh absolutely has everything it takes to be a multiple Super Bowl winner. That said, as a fan, I don’t need any more than one. Just give me my one and I feel it would genuinely change me as a fan. Not that I’d love the Bills any less (or more) than I do now if it were to happen, but the “pressure” and “need for validation” (relative to the Bills) wouldn’t be there. The stress of it all wouldn’t be as high as it’s been my entire fandom. I’ve gotten better with age, but I think if I were to ever experience a Bills championship, I’d have a much healthier relationship with the team as a fan. No one could take that one from us.
  11. Thank you, Michael Irvin! Stop changing the criteria all of a sudden.
  12. 1000% how I’ve felt all season. They are bored with their regular season success. They know what it takes. They are battle tested and can turn it on when it matters. You could see it over the last couple games (excluding final game where no one played) where their offense came on and started looking a lot more potent. Their defense will definitely show up in the playoffs. Can’t be fooled by what I would only call their regular season disinterest. They will be one tough out for anyone. Looking like the Colts playoff game condition. Wasn’t that a nice sunny one?
  13. Hope so. Maybe they sprinkle in Fields a few plays this week as a wrinkle to stress the defense from a running perspective.
  14. Why am I not surprised? Never seen anyone fall over themselves as much they can to change the goal posts to avoid giving Josh his credit. Didn’t the guy sit out an equivalent of two full games this year because he was kicking the other teams ass so badly or could choose to skip the majority of the game because they didn’t need it? Only one I’ve seen even mention that is Chase Daniel. Truth is, Josh would’ve likely exceeded Lamar’s stats (except for INTs) if he had to. He didn’t, but let’s not let facts get in the way of a “good” argument for these talking heads.
  15. I love that it’s looking like the Ravens are drawing the Steelers in round 1. Steelers have looked like pushovers lately, but they’ll get up for that game. Division games are always strange.
  16. Aside from that TD last week, Coleman has had a rough conclusion to the regular season.
  17. Sean getting an incentive for another bad challenge? Man he’s bad at these.
  18. I definitely jinxed Bass in the first half game thread. Ever since, he’s F’d up the kick off and the extra point. So, he’s back to being B(ass) to me.
  19. Only guy that worried me in the game today was TBass. Glad to see him kicking confidently. We need him.
