Eberflus looks like a madman.

He was at a meet and greet at the BFLO store this yesterday. I was in there doing some shopping and hopped in line to meet one of my heroes. Steve was just as nice and genuine as can be. Love that guy.

Not saying it didn’t happen, but I didn’t see that. Interesting. He seemed genuine about the city on GR this week. Talked about how he was bringing his girlfriend up with him because he’s talked the city up so much she wanted to come. 🤷‍♂️ To each their own I guess. I flew in to Buffalo tonight for the weekend. Hitting the game on Sunday. I always love coming here. One of my favorite places to visit.

Marcel has turned into a bit of a douche since he’s left Buffalo. I enjoyed his interview earlier this week on GR about how he said how much he loves the city, but the dude is always trying to poke the fans with his takes.

I wasn’t able to track it down (likely because I don’t have Twitter), but does anyone have a link to the Baldy’s Breakdown that he did on Bernard? Always enjoy watching those.

Historically, he’s owned the Dolphins in his career and seemed to get up the most for them. Granted those times were under Gase and Flores, but they should still be counted. He played pretty damn well in their home game against the Dolphins last year. The game will likely be close and tense, but I’m not worried one bit about Josh in a matchup against the dolphins. He’ll show up. Edit: Just went back and looked at the heat game last year…aside from a few frantic moments, he played great in that game too. I can’t put any merit into the notion that Josh is bored or doesn’t take the fins seriously.

Rams offense is completely inept.

Probably on to something here. The last 5 years we haven’t seen as much animation coming from the MLB position calling the defense. So much so that the last couple games has made it seem to me that the defense was confused and not in proper position. Now, does that mean Tremaine didn’t communicate? Of course not. A lot of that defense under Frazier was just “line up and play”. In this version of the defense, it’s not that the defense isn’t set, it’s this mad man knowing exactly what’s coming and telling everyone else. Preparation and instinct.

No question this will be a tough game. Biggest challenge of the season thus far. But the local media acting like we can’t hang with or beat the fins is absurd. I’d imagine the national media will be beating the same drum all week too.

Jeremy and Joe on WGR in full panic mode about Miami. Got that to look forward to all week I guess 🫠.

I’ll admit, while I wasn’t a TB hater, I wasn’t expecting this. His injury in the preseason really contributed to my uneasiness about him. That said, he started one game last year as a rookie and a lot of people were done with him. Ridiculous to think he couldn’t improve after one rough outing.
