I’m aware of our history. But we don’t have a QB problem against them unlike countless other teams that wilt under the pressure. That means a lot. Unfortunately, we have a defense problem against KC. At least in playoff games.

For the sake of all things holy, the Bills have to get this win tomorrow. I don’t see the Ravens being able to win on that stage in KC.

I don’t disagree they’ve had a few guys plucked, but it doesn’t feel like anywhere near the rate of Lynch/Shannahan, and by extension McVay. Next to the Chiefs (who have had a number of guys hired too), the Bills are the second winningest team in the league over the past several years, so I’m surprised more folks haven’t been poached to try and replicate Beane/McD success. 🤷‍♂️ Seems unusual, but, to your point, those that have left haven’t exactly set the world on fire which is a huge factor. But like @JGMcD2 mentioned, they walked into some pretty terrible circumstances. Schoen being the biggest disappointment so far with some of the questionable decisions they’ve made (e.g., Jones, Barkley).

His time will come with Josh as king maker. That said, while Josh is certainly responsible for most of the Bills success, he’s not all of it. Beane and McD have done really well too. You’d think other teams would raid the Bills front office and coaching staff (like lynch and shannahan) to replicate what they’ve done here. I’d love the two 3rd round picks, but the other team’s loss I guess.

Groot and Smoot sounds like some sort of cheesy CBS sit-com. Though, to your actual point, I agree and am here for it.

Personally, I love this. Not in a bulletin board material way. Rather, he’s just being real. You know most of the QBs probably feel this way, but never say anything other than the standard platitudes. I’m fine with that approach, but I respect this position a great deal.

Could be. I don’t know what he meant to say. But…if he meant to say what you suggest, at the very least, he could’ve worded that MUCH better. In the age where Joe Burrow and Mixon are pissed off about selling playoff tickets prospectively (like every other team), and where everyone is looking for the slightest edge, I’ll take all the slights. Real or perceived.
