Fair and hard to argue with you there based on what McD has proven when rubber meets the road in the playoffs. He’s always been my concern there. I guess I’d always just hoped we’d accumulate enough talent to overcome McD’s questionable coaching in big games. So much so that even he couldn’t screw it up. But, alas, that obviously hasn’t happened and Beane hasn’t held up his end of the bargain in the impact player and salary cap management department.

Maybe, but I think it more boils down to Brady’s ineffective pass scheme. This has been called out as a concern many times before, including again today by Greg Cossel on OBL. There are no easy throws. Everything is a grind. Pair that with subpar receiving talent, not a great recipe.

Not picking on you here, because I don’t think you’re alone (and, honestly, sometimes I feel this way too because I remain uninspired by McD), but who can’t the Bills beat in this watered down and wide open AFC? Yeah, Chiefs, Ravens, and Texans are all playing well and ahead of us now in the standings, but not one of them do I think we can’t beat. And that’s with a healthy current roster. We add a legit #1 WR, that’s only going to help.

Our rookie did pretty much the same thing last week against Baltimore on a dime from Josh, just not in the end zone. What does it mean? Nothing…yet…they’re rookies who will make mistakes. I’d rather have Franklin with growing pains than some of these other rostered “receivers”.
