  1. Not that I like it, but Funnily enough, 1st and goal at the 2 is exactly where you use that qb keeper daboll loves so much. Between that and the jet motion shovel to McKenzie, those are clearly his favorite plays.
  2. This is exactly what getting in your own way looks like.
  3. Confirming what we already knew...Motor has been criminally under used.
  4. Finally! Let’s see what the big man’s got!
  5. You mean Chris Griffin? Always looked at him as a bit dim.
  6. I was impressed by Bates in preseason and against a tough Titans D. Young guy with a lot of position flex. Not much experience and he’ll have his ups and downs, but I’d reason he’d hold his own if forced into action on Sunday.
  7. Again, wanting it to happen as a fan is one thing. I’m not saying you wanting it is wrong or that it wouldn’t have helped the offense, but you know as well as I do it wasn’t going to happen. They kicked the tires on AB because prior to the past calendar year, all that was ever known about the guy was that he was dominant, a bit high maintenance, and had a fall out with his QB when he called him out in the media. People raved about his work ethic and how no one would out work him. That version of AB would’ve been tolerated, and his work ethic was totally “process”. And then AB showed everyone what an ass he really is, and the Bills dodged a bullet. The version of himself he’s actually shown is totally anti “process”. That’s the distinction you need to make when trying to understand why they were interested in AB in the first place.
  8. Folks are delusional if they thought for one minute they would put in a claim for a guy like Josh Gordon. Wanting them to is one thing, but there was no way he’s their type of guy.
  9. Oh, I agree, but when have you ever known McD to say anything about anything. His pressers are filled with coach speak and largely a waste of time. He’s perfected saying nothing.
  10. Someone may have already made this point, but I took the comments as not only directed toward previous Bills regimes, but also as more of a macro level comment and an indictment on the moves made by the rest of the league. People get wild and crazy with the compensation for some of these players around the league (e.g., Tunsil, Clowney, Ramsey).
  11. He didn’t “earn the right” like Peko by that point.
  12. Who needs him? Agreed. That’s exactly what I’m saying. I’m not expecting some world beater. But they didn’t make a move at the deadline to address it, so he’s the best we’ve got left to try for a rotational DT in my opinion. He may also turn out to be nothing, but Peko ain’t it either. Cut him and put him back on PS if you have to have him around.
  13. Been saying this since they activated Peko. Peko is JAG. Not that Taylor is Sapp, but he’s got more bonafides than Peko. One of McD’s biggest weaknesses is sticking with people too long.
  14. No, not Cro Magnuson man! How dare you Beane. How dare you.
  15. Can not believe they haven’t cut Peko yet. Guy is not the answer. Free Big Vin!
  16. If we were to get Green, I’d reason to bet if we didn’t give up the moon (i.e., nothing higher than a 2), all the naysayers on here would be over the moon as soon as he catches his first TD. This is a proven commodity when healthy and would be a great catch for this offense at the right price. I get the desire to build through the draft, but we drafted Zay Jones in the second round for crying out loud. These guys have passed on numerous receivers the past few drafts and haven’t really demonstrated they can identify offensive talent in the draft yet. With that, I’d be fine with a proven guy like Green.
  17. This is shaping up to be a dud.
  18. Not surprising that McD would back Star. Frustrating yes, but not surprising. He’ll rarely do that stuff through the media.
  19. It’s true and it’s fabulous. Love how foolish the jets are.
  20. Don’t get the hype for this guy. Yes, he’s had a few good years of TD production. But...guy has been injured too frequently, and a sub 4.0 YPC rusher every year in the league except last year. Only topped 1K once. It’s not even the pick for me if they can do it for a mid rounder. It’s the contract. I’m not paying this dude what he thinks he’s worth. We just freed ourselves from that nightmare. Why go back? Draft a back with a mid round pick, use him up, let someone else pay them. Wash, rinse, repeat.
  21. ***Insert Michael Scott “No” Gif Here***
  22. No kidding. Star has never been a vocal guy since he’s been here, but this optically is a lack of accountability to me. They’ll brush it off and say he’s accountable to the team and is a “pro’s pro”. You aren’t frustrated and don’t want to explain why you aren’t frustrated? Great, but that’s pretty shocking and worth and explanation. Drop the ‘tude Star. Everyone is just curious and looking for answers.
