Lol. Hey, I acknowledged it was crazy. Just more a feeling when watching other teams (except the Phins). Always feel like we are told “Can’t be competent at that position this year guys, but just give us until 20xx and we’ll sort it out”. -

I know this is crazy, but does it ever feel like other teams always hit on draft picks and their FA decisions when compared to the Bills? I know they don’t, but it always seems like the Bills are a year away at this position or that position, while other teams are just stacking talent and getting production out of whatever player. ?♂️ -

Sure coulda used that yesterday. That’s how you drive the ball with the game on the line. Unlike the floaters Hauschka kicks. -

This is how you take it to a division leader. Props to the Hawks. -

I don’t agree with the game plan from the start, but I’m with ya if that’s going to be the game plan. I’m not one of those guys that thinks we need to be balanced pass vs. run, but the way we’ve used arguably our best weapon (Singletary) is criminal. Lol. Sounds like I need a new handle. In all seriousness, I’m not quite where you are yet because I do think organizationally we are on better footing (no rex pun intended) than when they got here. But it’s becoming much harder to overlook/defend some of these decisions. Neglecting the offensive skill position players in an offensive, pass-oriented league is insane. If that’s The Process, then “for those reasons, I’m out”. -

Gotta look at the tape and earn the right I guess. -
100% problem with the Deep Ball this year.

Neutered him. -
One important question I have on the last drive
Blank Stare replied to Thunderstruck's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. It’s exactly what Josh and John Brown said in their post game pressers. Didn’t matter what anyone else was doing. He was going JB all the way. -

That’s my point. No matter how many people we roll out there (DiMarco included), the ST is always pretty bad. And that’s ok if your offense is humming and you aren’t giving up big returns for TDs. They need to Stop taking away from the offense to help a unit that is average and offers little to the outcome. Again, Yeldon and Duke inactive yesterday isn’t the reason we lost. This is more of a broader point. But you can’t tell me Yeldon and Duke can’t be coached to run down the field and make a dang tackle on ST. -

Not trying to hot take this thing, but serious question. Why does this staff constantly over value special teams at the offenses expense? Not saying he’s a game breaker, but there is no way a guy like Senorise Perry should be active on game day over TJ Yeldon or Duke Williams. I’m not saying the result would’ve been different, but if you know the game plan is to throw the ball 40 times and ignore the run, then why not make all your best pass catchers available? Perry is invisible at the job he’s asked (which I guess is a good thing) and the special teams is largely average. I’d rather give up a little yardage in the kicking game to buoy the offense with everything we have at our disposal. -
Hauschka is at 61.5% for the season
Blank Stare replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Hauchka, but he really hasn’t been right since the Henry Anderson cheap shot. Also, the most frustrating part about his game is he is a finesse/loft kicker. He rarely, if ever, drives the ball. Rather, he tries to float it. Guy has been really successful in this league, but those type of kicks can drift on you. Especially from distance and if there is any breeze (which today I understand there wasn’t much of). The distance got him today from 53, but look at the 34 yard miss. Same thing where he tries to finesse it vs. drive it. -
Can we attract elite WRs here with Josh
Blank Stare replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes -
Goff is awful. And I was laughing at the Steelers for picking up Fitzpatrick with Ben out for the year. Thought that would be a top 10 pick. But here come the Steelers. Shows you how little I know.

Rams seem dumb. With three timeouts, why go for it on 4th down? Kick a FG. Kick it deep. Burn your three timeouts on the Steelers drive and get the ball back. It’s basically the same thing you just did, except a Field goal wins instead of a TD

I’m with ya. Just about any other plan would’ve been better than the one employed. And that’s coming from someone who is not a fan of designed QB runs with Josh outside the red zone. -
Steelers loss here makes me feel a little better about today.

Blank Stare replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ah. Yes, that’s right. My bad. However, they didn’t have to do that. Could’ve run on 3rd down to the correct hash, then burn it. Who knows, maybe you pick up 3-4 yards and make for a shorter attempt. -

He seems to prefer kicking from the other hash. If McD was playing for the tie, the least he could’ve done was make sure he was on the kickers preferred hash. Especially knowing we took a timeout to the locker room with us. Gross mismanagement all around. -
Meant to say week and not year, but yes, definitely an odd event. Wish we weren’t sharing any similarities with the phins this year though.

Two 16-12 late 4th qtr games this week. Odd.

2 MAJOR weaknesses this team has personnel wise are at receiver and pass rusher. Hopefully we can fix that this offseason. Get sick of QBs having all day to throw against us. Also get sick of no YAC. Coaching wise, Daboll has been a travesty. Constantly overthinking it. Neutering Josh. Josh certainly isn’t free from blame either. I realize some of that is on McD, but I get the sense he’s extremely hands off with the offense. The OC is essentially the HC of the offense. Otherwise, why else would McD not tell Daboll to pull his head out of his a**. I really think he doesn’t do much on that side of the ball. Sounds dumb enough to be true around these parts. -
We aren’t beating the Steelers in their house. D is legit, and Bills NEVER play well there.
