  1. Oh good. Another week of prioritizing special teams “talents” such as Sinorise Perry and Julian Stanford who offer virtually nothing to their side of the ball, over guys that can help the anemic offense such as Yeldon and Duke. Stoked!
  2. Agreed. Although I do think Rudolph at least deserves a fine. During the initial moments, while on the ground, he tried ripping off Garrett’s helmet. While what happened is unfortunate and should’ve never happened, he’s not innocent in this.
  3. I get it, I really do. I think the D will keep it close too. I just can’t remember the last time we’ve won in Pittsburgh. It’s a tough place to play, and while that history should have absolutely no barring on what they do this game, unfortunately our history seems to have been a pretty good indicator of future success with this organization. Frustratingly so. RE: the quoted section, you know people will be talking about our super bowl history up and down if we ever make it back. Too much pain in our history. Also, I kind of look at it like a burden to whatever team makes it back. There’ll be a little extra pressure on them (warranted or not) to make up for the 90s team failures in the big game. Some of it will be media driven. Some of it will be fan driven. But they’ll hear it. Something I’ll gladly take though, to be back in the Super bowl.
  4. While that’s true, it’s also true that for whatever reason we struggle there historically. That and Pitt is a physical team, which we’ve proven on a couple occasions this year that we haven’t matched up well with.
  5. If we were playing home, I’d like our odds a little more. Bills just don’t play well in Pittsburgh.
  6. I did. He doesn’t have the arm. Josh has too much arm and tries to use it all. He needs to put air under the ball to give guys a chance. I’m not suggesting Josh heave them up there quite like Rudolph’s punts, but begging for Josh to bring it up a bit from what he’s doing now.
  7. Rudolph does on his deep ball what I’ve been BEGGING josh to do. Put a little air under it. We get you have a strong arm, but you don’t have to rifle those deep balls on a rope. Lessens the chance of completion when you don’t give your guy a chance to run under it or go up and make a play.
  8. That’s mild compared to what I was yelling at the TV after Hauschka missed that last kick. ?
  9. Steelers going to luck into another win.
  10. Steelers will shut down our run game and make Josh beat them. Book it.
  11. Browns are super mediocre. Really hate we let them off the hook.
  12. We’re giving birthday rest days now?! Fire them all!
  13. Move the Cheats out of the AFCE to an independent like Notre Dame. Rest of the dang league can then see how much they like it.
  14. It’s glorious. Fitz the saboteur.
  15. Levi Wallace has done a bang up job for what he is. An overlooked and under recruited Alabama walk on to starter and undrafted FA. Everything positive we’ve got from him has been gravy and to large degree completely unexpected. With that said, I’m firmly in the camp of giving Kevin Johnson more opportunities with the starting unit. First round pedigree. Has played decently when healthy in Houston. Just roll him out there and see what he can do. That or...bring back EJ Gaines *ducks*. ?
  16. Agreed. On one hand, it’s disappointing if we stumble down the stretch because it means we just aren’t good enough. On the other, injuries aren’t an excuse and it presents a great opportunity to fully evaluate your roster to determine who is part of future plans. Sure there is luck involved with injuries, but at least to some degree, that new training/recovery facility is already paying dividends.
  17. Good point on the other games. And as much as I pi** and moan on here about that game, I’ll be right there watching every bit of it (and all their other games from now until I’m gone). I couldn’t quit them even if I tried.
  18. Oh ok. My bad if I misunderstood. I’m with you on the other games and the Cheats game being too far away. I’ve just seen too many of those games in Foxboro to entertain the thought of winning that game. I try every year to talk myself into that one, and I usually do, but I can’t do it again this year. Every other game we have left I think we could win or have a chance to win, but the offense concerns me when they can’t be counted on to score over 20 points.
  19. This is going to sound trolly, but it’s genuinely not my intent. I don’t want the Bills playing anything other than 1 PM games on Sundays until they learn not to embarrass us in other time slots. First of all, I love the 1 PM routine for my Sundays. Also, they’ve proven inferior on more than enough games in other time slots for my lifetime. Nothing like trying to fall asleep fuming at midnight when they figure out a new way to lose on Monday night football. 1 PM Sunday games are our sweet spot.
  20. Lol. Glad you approve. I’m happy you’re optimistic, but tell me how I’m wrong. Or, if you’d rather, I’ll check back with you after week 16 when the inevitable happens. This isn’t a Bills criticism so much as it is a Cheats observation. I’ll gladly eat crow if I’m wrong, but don’t you think we’ve seen this scenario enough over the years to make this call without seeing it play out?
  21. Love his optimism, but barring an unforeseen surge, this is not an 11-5 team with the schedule we have left. Not with this offense and the defenses sudden failure to stop the run. Maybe 10-6, but could realistically finish 8-8 or 9-7.
  22. Great. Now instead of getting our a** kicking out of the way at 1 and moving on to enjoy the rest of the day, I’ve got to wait a few more hours for it. What a treat.
  23. Woof! Was not expecting that.
