  1. Levi Wallace has done a bang up job for what he is. An overlooked and under recruited Alabama walk on to starter and undrafted FA. Everything positive we’ve got from him has been gravy and to large degree completely unexpected. With that said, I’m firmly in the camp of giving Kevin Johnson more opportunities with the starting unit. First round pedigree. Has played decently when healthy in Houston. Just roll him out there and see what he can do. That or...bring back EJ Gaines *ducks*. ?
  2. Agreed. On one hand, it’s disappointing if we stumble down the stretch because it means we just aren’t good enough. On the other, injuries aren’t an excuse and it presents a great opportunity to fully evaluate your roster to determine who is part of future plans. Sure there is luck involved with injuries, but at least to some degree, that new training/recovery facility is already paying dividends.
  3. Good point on the other games. And as much as I pi** and moan on here about that game, I’ll be right there watching every bit of it (and all their other games from now until I’m gone). I couldn’t quit them even if I tried.
  4. Oh ok. My bad if I misunderstood. I’m with you on the other games and the Cheats game being too far away. I’ve just seen too many of those games in Foxboro to entertain the thought of winning that game. I try every year to talk myself into that one, and I usually do, but I can’t do it again this year. Every other game we have left I think we could win or have a chance to win, but the offense concerns me when they can’t be counted on to score over 20 points.
  5. This is going to sound trolly, but it’s genuinely not my intent. I don’t want the Bills playing anything other than 1 PM games on Sundays until they learn not to embarrass us in other time slots. First of all, I love the 1 PM routine for my Sundays. Also, they’ve proven inferior on more than enough games in other time slots for my lifetime. Nothing like trying to fall asleep fuming at midnight when they figure out a new way to lose on Monday night football. 1 PM Sunday games are our sweet spot.
  6. Lol. Glad you approve. I’m happy you’re optimistic, but tell me how I’m wrong. Or, if you’d rather, I’ll check back with you after week 16 when the inevitable happens. This isn’t a Bills criticism so much as it is a Cheats observation. I’ll gladly eat crow if I’m wrong, but don’t you think we’ve seen this scenario enough over the years to make this call without seeing it play out?
  7. Love his optimism, but barring an unforeseen surge, this is not an 11-5 team with the schedule we have left. Not with this offense and the defenses sudden failure to stop the run. Maybe 10-6, but could realistically finish 8-8 or 9-7.
  8. Great. Now instead of getting our a** kicking out of the way at 1 and moving on to enjoy the rest of the day, I’ve got to wait a few more hours for it. What a treat.
  9. Woof! Was not expecting that.
  10. That would be so......Billsy.
  11. Lol. Hey, I acknowledged it was crazy. Just more a feeling when watching other teams (except the Phins). Always feel like we are told “Can’t be competent at that position this year guys, but just give us until 20xx and we’ll sort it out”.
  12. I know this is crazy, but does it ever feel like other teams always hit on draft picks and their FA decisions when compared to the Bills? I know they don’t, but it always seems like the Bills are a year away at this position or that position, while other teams are just stacking talent and getting production out of whatever player. ?‍♂️
  13. Sure coulda used that yesterday. That’s how you drive the ball with the game on the line. Unlike the floaters Hauschka kicks.
  14. This is how you take it to a division leader. Props to the Hawks.
  15. But at least we got TJ Graham.
  16. I don’t agree with the game plan from the start, but I’m with ya if that’s going to be the game plan. I’m not one of those guys that thinks we need to be balanced pass vs. run, but the way we’ve used arguably our best weapon (Singletary) is criminal. Lol. Sounds like I need a new handle. In all seriousness, I’m not quite where you are yet because I do think organizationally we are on better footing (no rex pun intended) than when they got here. But it’s becoming much harder to overlook/defend some of these decisions. Neglecting the offensive skill position players in an offensive, pass-oriented league is insane. If that’s The Process, then “for those reasons, I’m out”.
  17. Gotta look at the tape and earn the right I guess.
  18. This. It’s exactly what Josh and John Brown said in their post game pressers. Didn’t matter what anyone else was doing. He was going JB all the way.
  19. That’s my point. No matter how many people we roll out there (DiMarco included), the ST is always pretty bad. And that’s ok if your offense is humming and you aren’t giving up big returns for TDs. They need to Stop taking away from the offense to help a unit that is average and offers little to the outcome. Again, Yeldon and Duke inactive yesterday isn’t the reason we lost. This is more of a broader point. But you can’t tell me Yeldon and Duke can’t be coached to run down the field and make a dang tackle on ST.
  20. Not trying to hot take this thing, but serious question. Why does this staff constantly over value special teams at the offenses expense? Not saying he’s a game breaker, but there is no way a guy like Senorise Perry should be active on game day over TJ Yeldon or Duke Williams. I’m not saying the result would’ve been different, but if you know the game plan is to throw the ball 40 times and ignore the run, then why not make all your best pass catchers available? Perry is invisible at the job he’s asked (which I guess is a good thing) and the special teams is largely average. I’d rather give up a little yardage in the kicking game to buoy the offense with everything we have at our disposal.
  21. I like Hauchka, but he really hasn’t been right since the Henry Anderson cheap shot. Also, the most frustrating part about his game is he is a finesse/loft kicker. He rarely, if ever, drives the ball. Rather, he tries to float it. Guy has been really successful in this league, but those type of kicks can drift on you. Especially from distance and if there is any breeze (which today I understand there wasn’t much of). The distance got him today from 53, but look at the 34 yard miss. Same thing where he tries to finesse it vs. drive it.
