  1. I guess we’ll see. You bring up good points, and I don’t disagree that on paper it seems like those picks and punishment are severe. To most teams it would be catastrophic. But with the Cheats, it’s usually 30-32 in each round. Yes, still a pick, but contrary to popular belief, Belichick is not a great drafter. Belichick is better on the pro-personnel evaluations in my opinion. That’s where he nabs guys like Welker, Van Noy, Amendola, and on and on. Unspectacular players that come alive under his tutelage. Plus, if they really are cheating and pushing the envelope as much as alleged, that minimizes the impact of any forfeited draft picks or other personnel mistakes.
  2. Been a while since Poyer or Hyde have come up with interceptions. Used to be fairly common, but teams are wisely avoiding and not testing them. Busted coverage last week excluded.
  3. And similar to the NCAA with the UNC situation, the NFL won’t have the balls to throw the book at them and instead will hide in the corner and sweep it under the rug. Cheaters prosper under Goodell.
  4. With this track record of success, Whaley must be turning down more NFL gigs than Greg Williams. I’ll give you the guy was a decent evaluator of talent, who never really got the opportunity to run his own show. However, in the end, he just wasn’t good enough and was shown the door. It’s not personal for me. He seemed like a good enough guy, but just wasn’t good enough.
  5. Here we go. Simple google search tells a different story. While there are a bunch of things you can do to free up money, some of their decisions were certainly dubious. And there are several more articles out there that speak to mismanagement and bad contracts (*ahem* Charles Clay albatross *ahem*). https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2016/01/22/bills-gm-whaley-recognizes-difficult-cap-situation/79162088/ https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2016/02/cordy_glenn_contract_offer_doug_whaley_buffalo_bills.html https://sports.yahoo.com/bills-coach-criticizes-past-regime-irresponsible-moves-172305978--nfl.html https://www.espn.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/31007/brandon-beane-puts-bills-in-better-position-under-salary-cap-in-2018
  6. You must be new to this. ? I kid. But in all seriousness, all of this fan hand-wringing, one way or the other won’t have one bit of difference on the outcome. There’s absolutely no reason we can’t win this game. Will it be easy? Probably not. Wouldn’t be unheard of to lose the game either. Stay positive and expect to win. Raise the standard. Just have to believe the Bills have finally turned the corner like most of us think (hope ?) they have. They are also likely to get Juju and Connor back. That will only help take pressure off Hodges with the better personnel they’ll have available.
  7. Was a joke man. I think you’ve made your position clear over several posts/threads. ?
  8. We’re all fear bunkering it right now, praying the Bills don’t Billsy away the end of the season.
  9. ? Not surprised. The Cheats treat this like they treat holding or PI. They’ll do it every time, knowing they won’t be caught and call it every time. It’s just what they do.
  10. Personally, I’m rooting for an immoral loss this week with the Bengals over the Cheats. Or is that a moral victory ?? Cheaters continue to prosper under Goodell.
  11. John Murphy is a naive patriots apologist on OB Live right now. The guy has some really odd takes sometimes. He’s delusional if he thinks this is a big nothing burger. Tasker having to convince him.
  12. Thank you for looking this up. I mentioned the wind, but my comments were strictly based on the eyeball test. I know New Era gets some pretty crazy conditions, but it just seems like several home games this year we’ve had to wrestle with the winds to the detriment of the passing game. More so than usual. Yes, Josh has proven he can cut through the winds at times and yes it impacts both QBs, but it’s just an oddity of our home games this year. One that I think has fairly neutralized our home field advantage. Interesting to see how the stats prove that out, albeit in a limited sample.
  13. We’ve also had really unfortunate winds at home games this year. Worse than I can recall in the past. Seems like most of our home games this year have had difficult winds. Josh has certainly struggled this year with the deep ball, but even a little wind can compound the problem.
  14. Yep, I could definitely see that too. Made a lot of dough and had all the glory. You look at him sometimes over the past couple years and he hasn’t looked like it’s been much fun for him. Can’t say I blame him. Shurmur has been a disaster.
  15. Does anyone want to win this division? Crazy how terrible it is. Pathetic we lost to the eagles with the one bad game our defense had this year. I don’t see why not. There’s just not 32 guys in the world that can play the position effectively. They’d be someone interested I’d bet. Maybe the Cheats if they move on from Brady.
  16. If I’m Manning, I move on for one more big pay day for another franchise. Not as good as he was, but he can still win in the right situation with a solid supporting cast. I’d cash in on another 2 year deal if I was him. This is the greatest time to be playing QB with some of this funny money thrown around for the position and supply and demand. But he’s got enough money I guess.
  17. Schefter is part of the gullible media hype machine. Another cheats mouthpiece.
  18. Not that it’s any surprise but Schefter just said both Juju and Connor eyeing return Sunday. They know what time it is. Exactly. Don’t think the Jets won’t be out to ruin our season if it comes down to that game. We did it to them a few years back when Fitz was there and division games are always unpredictable.
  19. Agreed. They HAVE to know this. The key to the game is our offense vs. their defense. I’m fully confident in our defense against Hodges. If our offense is not up to the challenge, it will be a long night.
  20. How Belichickian of them. Can’t say he wasn’t “Doing his job”.
  21. Not a shot at you Yolo, but shocking! Knew he would be back for this one. I bet Conner too. Steelers know they need this game. Honestly, I fully trust our defense. It’s our offense vs. their defense that will determine this game. And you can bet they’ll be sending the house at Allen.
  22. Then where would our customary false starts or holdings come from? It’s hard to replace what Lee Smith brings to this offense.
