I’d be shocked if a Belly coached team sucked so bad to get the #1 overall pick that it would take for Lawrence, but that defense of theirs has taken some serious body blows this offseason.

Not a fan as the backup center spot is a little tenuous right now with Feliciano out. I won’t question Beane too much in this department as he deserves the benefit of the doubt. However, surely, Ike Boettger would’ve been a better candidate for release, right? I mean, is the guy ever going to actually play?

Just watched the Josh Allen clip of his ranking. Probably already been said, but could they have picked a more nondescript collection of players to speak to Josh’s game? Nsekhe (biased) and Blake Cashman (Rookie)? Enlightening. Closest we got to anything interesting was the passing comment Myles Garrett made. ?‍♂️

Totally get it. I noticed you’d mentioned you are Jewish in a few of your previous posts, and while we’ve had our differences in previous threads, I’m sorry you’ve had to endure things like this in the past. Will it get the same coverage as BLM? If I’m being honest, probably not. Is that right? Like I said in my previous post - absolutely not. I’m not excusing the comments or the media’s behavior. It’s unacceptable and DJAX deserves all the criticism that is coming his way.

Truly reprehensible and indefensible. Deserving of similar outrage and criticism that Drew Brees and Jake Fromm received. No disputing that. However, anyone looking to use this as an example to discredit BLM or legit racial inequalities for POC really need to get a grip. I know it’s hip to choose sides these days, but it’s not an either-or scenario. These comments, as well as those systemic and institutional injustices, are both wrong and unacceptable.

Njoku and Knox would be something. I’d love it for the right price and I’m sure Josh would too.

If it were only this simple, then we wouldn’t be in the position we are in now. For this to be true, people have to actually believe it. Unfortunately, there are still a good number of people that view POC as lesser. Therein lies the problem.

I understand your point here, but I’m not certain we ever left Round 1. NYC, yes. But I see a lot of folks talking about the “second wave” in the fall, but I’m not certain much of the country has experienced or cleared the “first wave”. If things keep on the current trend, this season will look completely different, if not cancelled altogether (to your point).

Judging by some of your lovely comments on here, that ship has long since sailed. Ever stop to think your comments or mannerisms around those people don’t foster an environment where they feel comfortable sharing their experiences with you? You saying it doesn’t exist, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist to them. But you’ve never had to think about those things, so why start now right? But you came in here pounding your chest like a Neanderthal, intentionally trying to antagonize people with how much better you think you are than the rest of us. You sure showed us.

I’d venture to guess your work with the black community doesn’t involve telling them you are against Black Lives Matter. No, that little diddy is just for us special folk here.

Agreed dude. I try to share that link with anyone I can. It’s wild stuff. I think regardless of which side of the fence you’re on with this issue, no one considers themselves a sucker. But that’s exactly what we’ve all been. Duped. It’s no wonder this issue touches a nerve with so many. Years and years (and years) of conditioning. That’s why it’s SO important we continue to educate ourselves on things like this.

I agree. Or even coaching for that matter. Say what you will about Harbaugh at Michigan, but the guy was a damn good NFL coach. Worst season record was his last at 8-8. Coaching matters folks. Kaepernick was still developing when Harbaugh left. Who knows what his trajectory would’ve been if Harbs stuck around. Jim Tomsula and Chip Kelly were awful.

Damn shame we FINALLY have a roster to compete and make a real run at this thing, and this damn coronavirus is threatening the season (yes, I know football doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things). As Bills fans, we truly can’t have nice things.

This is absolutely a fair question to ask. Whether it’s genuine or not, I appreciate you asking it. The short answer is, no, I have not done enough. No one has. And that has to change. Im man enough to admit it and I’m committed to addressing my failures. With respect to how you demonstrate your patriotism, I’ve got no problem with you (or anyone else) feeling compelled to honor the great men and women of our military by standing for the flag/anthem. But the flag represents an ideal. One that quite frankly, we’ve never fully achieved. Certainly, not for people of color. Anyone who is still having the kneel or stand for the flag conversation, or is upset by anyone choosing to do the opposite of what they choose to do, is completely missing the point. And I’m sorry, but that completely baffles me because people have to try really hard not to get it. Harder than they would have to try than if they just accepted the reality of the situation.
