  1. Agree on white face mask. That should be permanent. Looked so clean on Thanksgiving last year.
  2. Terrible. Hate seeing this anytime, but especially this close to the season.
  3. Right, I don’t think so on Fitz and I disagree on his Dolphins take. I think this division is still Cheats and Bills. Dolphins are a year or 2 out in my opinion, but with the playoffs expanding, it’s not unimaginable to see a scenario where they make it. I don’t think Fitz goes the whole year, and none of us know what Tua is yet. Even though the truncated offseason and coming off significant injury does him no favors this year.
  4. Meh. While I disagree about the Dolphins, I don’t have much of a problem with his Bills take. He’s right. This is Allen’s year to prove he’s the guy. It’s ok to have concerns until he proves it. Personally, I think he will. Also, he still has the Bills as the 6 seed. Idk, not much for me to get worked up about here. 🤷‍♂️
  5. Of course. But never play? It’s just odd to me I guess. Here’s to continued health up front!
  6. Guy just won’t go away. But never actually plays in a game.
  7. All good dude! Just something that stuck with me from class many many years ago. Believe me, I’m no expert. Far be it from me to lecture anyone on grammar.
  8. I agree with the bolded section. Of course it doesn’t really matter, but this is a message board. Stranger posts have come up. Especially these days. Not like Giuseppe was wrong. Besides, what else are we supposed to do in a thread that has reached 9 pages for only 4-5 moves made an hour or so ago? Nitpicking is what we Bills fans do best. That and hope for next year.
  9. Kind of a pet peeve of mine too. Even though either is acceptable, I prefer “with regard to” over “in regard to”. I think I was taught that way in an English class I took and it stuck. 🤷‍♂️
  10. I’d take this dude on a 1 year prove it deal. Why not? People forget how much talent this guy possesses. I think he’s a different back when motivated, and who would be motivated by the situation in Jacksonville? Is he McCaffrey or Zeke? No, but he’s better than Yeldon.
  11. There’s the Thad we’re all used to!
  12. Yeah, could be right. Beane likely knew something was up with Long if I had to guess. I was thinking maybe flipping them someone like Winters or Boehm. I’d say Ike, but I doubt anyone gives up anything for him. Feliciano is apparently out of his sling which likely indicates progress. A combination of whichever one of those two they don’t flip and Ryan Bates can hold the fort at backup guard until Mongo gets back. Plus we still have Ford and Daryl Williams, and it sounds like either of those guys are comfortable playing guard too. Fortunately, we’re fairly deep on the oline. Not saying a trade will happen, but we have options if we can find takers.
  13. This. You beat me to it you quick son of a gun. ?
  14. Agree. Why not reach out to Philly and offer a guard for a pick? They just lost Dillard (and will likely move Peters back to LT). I think I read somewhere they were lacking depth there. For someone we’d like to keep, but can’t make it work, why not spin him for a pick?
  15. Just watched the 10-3 segment and not one mention of the Bills. But boy was Brady and the Bucs and Cam and the Cheats covered. Don’t know where I’d be without my daily 2 hours of coverage of those two teams. ?
  16. He’s definitely trending that way. Crazy part is, it’s usually only in his tweets. Every time I’ve heard him in an interview type format, he doesn’t come off as a douche.
  17. Thad just can’t help himself. Even while complimenting Josh, he can’t just leave it there. Has to take his customary swipe.
  18. I see this being part of the Bill Belichick and Ernie Adams “Cheating For Dummies” playbook this year. ?
  19. Great example and thank you for sharing! I completely agree. Losing is an infectious disease and the Bills were at it so long they absolutely needed a complete cleansing. Top to bottom, they’d accepted it. Sure, they’d try to shake things up and clean house over the years when they knew they had no choice, but it was always the wrong guy. The sad part for all of us having to live through it is with every change in head coach/GM it brought hope that they’d finally get it right, while consistently being let down and disappointed. I’ve been a Bills fan forever and I’d always hoped they’d luck into a guy like McD during the later Ralph years. A guy that could truly save the franchise and turn things around. Ralph wasn’t a bad guy, but he was complicit (or cheap as we like to call it ?). He got burned a few times over the years to the point he’d only feel comfortable with certain people. Combined with his penchant for being a little too hands on, that limited the pool. Took new owners a little longer than we all would’ve liked, but it seems we finally got the right guys in charge. Of course there is always more work to do, but I haven’t fully trusted a regime like this since Polian and Marv. That’s too damn long for us to wait for a little competence. Even when I’m frustrated on game day, I just try to enjoy the ride remembering where we used to be.
  20. I agree. I don’t think they knew either. I’m not as big of a Whaley hater as some others (not good as a GM, but a decent talent evaluator), but that whole regime didn’t exactly set the bar very high. Knowing what we now know about McD, and coming off Rex, I can see how his messaging and “the process” would’ve been very refreshing to the Pegulas. To your point, with his approach, it didn’t take long for him to build credibility in the building and oust the others.
  21. The Russ, Whaley, and Monos parts are so cringey now after knowing what happened. Especially Whaley and Monos. They didn’t look like they knew they were on the way out. Sucking up to McD pretty good there.
