Let them. That chews more clock and takes the ball out of their best player’s hands (Mahomes). Exact same strategy Belichick deployed against the Bills in Super Bowl XXV. Gave Thurman his yards to chew clock and prevent Jimbo and co from going off.

I’m not suggesting he doesn’t play hard/all out or give his all during every game. But for anyone that’s ever played sports or done anything competitive, there is always that little extra you give (or try to give) when going up against the Champs and the guy that’s the best in the game at your position. Call it extra focus or desire, but whatever it is, I truly feel like Josh will be dialed in tonight because it’s the defending champs and Mahomes. Also, there’s a reason people say the defending champs always get everyone’s best. People hunt for the top spot.

Don’t underestimate Josh’s competitiveness and desire to go toe to toe with the best. Could be the ultimate statement game for him tonight. I think Josh shows up and shows out tonight. Now...will the defense show up?

Praying for a big bounce back game here. We had less time to prep than the Chiefs, but this week was a bit more settled overall. Unlike last week with the sloppy penalties, hoping everyone is dialed in and focused for this one. If you can’t get up for Monday Evening Football against the defending champs, then you never will (looking at you defense).

I’d never give up Diggs, but Justin Jefferson is really heating up lately. All these young receivers are really playing well.

He’s not. Was reported all over the pregame shows this morning that he’s ineligible this week due to covid protocols.

Anyone else find that CBS The Unicorn commercial with the dog licking the dude’s face absolutely disgusting? Look, I love dogs. I have 3, but that wet lapping sound turns my stomach.

Damn these Titans for dampening my enthusiasm for this game. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited to see how we measure up, but I’ve been taken down a peg after that beat down on Tuesday. Prior to the Titans game, I thought we could hang with anyone. I was riding high. Hopefully, that was a temporary set back caused by an uncertain schedule in an otherwise exemplary 2020 season.

I hope they do all this and Trevor Lawrence pulls a Manning/Elway and stiffs them. Who in their right mind wants to go to the Jets and that dysfunction? BUT, Trevor Lawrence has already done everything there is to do in college. Especially with COVID, no way he returns to school. Doesn’t mean he can’t still spurn the Jets. Unless, of course....Dabo comes with him 🤔
