  1. Let ‘em. They still don’t have a QB. Welcome to hell.
  2. I know it. Weird twitch after he makes the point. Like Chris Johnson.
  3. Say what you will about the Dolphins and their picks, but I’m a big fan of investing in the line with high picks. They’ve done that.
  4. Here’s the run on the offensive weapons. Guess Dugger will be there waiting for us. ?
  5. You mean Perd Hapley? King of the obvious, bone-headed statement.
  6. Same. I’m one who thinks the big nickel need is overblown. But I’d be fine if he’s there in the third. At this point, I’d like edge, WR, or RB in the second.
  7. Same guy that’s in the Campbells chunky soup commercial they aired during the season.
  8. Correct. Maybe I’m missing your point, but the picks we gave up this year in the late rounds weren’t likely to have made the team anyway. Not unless we hit the jackpot. Shoot, the late round picks we still have may not make it. And that’s even if we use them. I’ve got no problem with what they gave up for Diggs. Rather him than Justin Jefferson this season. I’d also have no problem if they went back to the well at receiver in round 2 or 3 if that’s what their board dictates. Injuries happen and we could use an upgrade at the number 4 receiver spot.
  9. I don’t think anyone is proposing being reckless with our selections, but we are finally in a position with this roster to stack talent. Granted, we all have our preferences, but this offense struggled to score points last year. “Only” thing we’ve done to address it is add Diggs. Now, that’s a big “only” thing, but a lot of us prefer they can keep up with the Jacksons and the Mahomes and not always have to rely on the D to bail us out with razor thin margins of error. Personally, I don’t want to prioritize our top pick on a Big/buffalo nickel that may amount to nothing but special teams. Now, if you want to draft a pass rusher, I won’t fight you on that.
  10. Ugh. He may turn out to be a stud, but I struggle to get on board with this. In the third, sure, why not. But why take a dude with your top pick from a tiny program who may not amount to anything more than a special teamer? If you want a Swiss Army knife, then take Shenault and help the offense. Majority of FA went to defense. Unless it’s edge, address the offense. Edit: For the record, I’m not saying they should take Shenault. But, I’d rather have him than Dugger. Hope Dugger is gone before he reaches our pick.
  11. Unless it’s at edge, that’s ridiculous if true. Adding Stefon and maintaining continuity on the oline is great, but the offense isn’t fixed. Get Josh more weapons.
  12. Noah’s Dad the exact opposite of Kinlaw’s dad.
  13. I’m more in the edge camp. I also wouldn’t hate WR or RB to help Josh. Less thrilled about Big/Buffalo nickel. But...in Beane we trust.
  14. Praying for no run on pass rushers. But it’s coming.
  15. Just realized Dax brother who passed was in that Campbell’s chunky soup commercial they played during the season with him. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190905005258/en/Campbell’s®-Chunky®-Soup-Launches-New-“Champions-Chunky”
  16. Great opportunity for them. He fell in their lap. Sit behind Brees for a year like Mahomes did with Smith.
  17. I get that. Just seems like you would’ve tried everything you can do to make it work with the proven commodity if the plan is to backfill with what will likely be a lesser player. At least for 2020. But...I guess they tried and he wanted out. Our gain.
