  1. Agreed. Between Jones and Fields I’d prefer if one drops to them it’s Jones.
  2. Come on Denver and Philly. Take QBs.
  3. Interesting take. I look at this a little differently. Sure they’ll be surprises in the draft. To some degree there usually is, but I think due to the unusual scouting season with Covid, they are more likely to make “safer”/higher floor picks. This is why I think Etienne is more likely to be in play for us or others prior to our pick. But, it will be interesting for sure. Always is.
  4. I wish teams would tell the Cheats to go fly a kite. Shut them out of any possible QB upgrades. Let them enjoy middling levels of success for a while and see how they like it. Either that or completely rip them off by asking for something outlandish.
  5. He seems dejected now talking about this rumor.
  6. Make it stop! My god, you wonder how we ever won 9 games with Mularky or 7 seemingly every year with Jauron. This org was clueless back then. Night and day compared to now.
  7. Good find. Yes, luck is a huge part of it, and you still have to pick good players with the picks, but my point was more in line with this part of his quote. A better hit rate is attributable, even if only a little bit, to more bites at the apple. They typically seem to position themselves quite well on that front with additional picks outside of their original 7.
  8. Oh, I absolutely give them credit. Beane has worked the board well himself. Best that we’ve had here in a long time. Even though I’d like to see him do less trading up and either let the draft come to him or trade back. With that said, whether it’s staying put and making their picks count (yes, they have missed like everyone else), acquiring additional picks, or earning comp picks, the Ravens always seem to be doing it right. Well, maybe not always, but frequently.
  9. Friggin’ Ravens working the draft again. Doesn’t matter if it’s Newsome or DeCosta. They acquire draft capital better than anyone else while still remaining a competitive football team year in, year out.
  10. I’d be up for it. Not that I think we should go all James Hardy trying to chase the next Plaxico Burress, but if healthy, Moore could be our Tyler Lockett/Tyreek Hill-type player. Like it or not, we need more team speed. Particularly, on offense. This guy has that. #30 may be a little high with his injury history, but there’s no denying his talent. No matter which position we take, the 30th pick isn’t coming without risk. If Beane decides he’s good with it, then I’m game.
  11. Looks good. Simple, clean(er) look. I like the orange top and the white top versions best.
  12. And he’d still make the Dolphins look silly. He owns them statistically.
  13. Ooof. If that was his take on Josh, what did he think of Tua? 🤦‍♂️
  14. Still loved how he abused Kiko. Just toyed with him.
  15. I’d sooner give up a 4th or 5th for Njoku than I would Ertz. At only 24, he’s got a lot of days ahead of him and I’d like to see our coaches get a crack at making him “the best version of himself”. That’s not to say I wouldn’t also trade a 4th or 5th for Ertz if that’s what Beane wants to do, but I lean to the younger player if we are giving up 4 years of a cost controlled asset.
  16. You paint quite the picture my friend.
  17. Hopefully trolling because the white face masks are super clean. Love those.
  18. That’s fair. We all want what’s best for our Bills, and to your point, I hope those guys are better with another year here too.
  19. No question they’ve had hits on offense from other orgs. My initial post in this thread was in reference to the trend of former panthers on defense. You take a risk going to the FA well because, while you may think you know what you’re getting based on previous performance, you don’t really know the man. I get it. I think that’s why you see the trend of former panthers. They still have connections from their time there either knowing the player first hand or knowing someone in the org that does to help mitigate the risk. Problem is, we’re allocating material portions of the cap to these players that isn’t commensurate with their level of play. I’d rather they save the $ on the average to below average Addison, Butler, Kleins of the world and try to use it on impact free agents that come available (e.g., the crop of free agent pass rushers or tight ends that were available this year). They’ve done some decent things here and there, but they weren’t great signings. I love that McBeane are willing to admit a mistake when it doesn’t work out on the coaching staff, organizationally, or even in game. I just wish they’d rip the bandaid off a little quicker with respect to player swings and misses when it doesn’t work out. 🤷‍♂️
  20. I said “defense” in my post. Why do people get so sensitive about pointing out their proclivity for former panthers? It’s true. Hyde and Poyer are the last two real impact free agents on defense that McD signed from different teams. And that was back in 2017. Doesn’t hurt to poach from other teams now and then.
