  1. I see we’re back to the typical Cheats offense. Dink and dunk crap. Yes, I know it’s preseason…but still.
  2. I see Cole finally looks to have fixed that hillbilly tooth he had going on. Also, everyone ragging Josh for the McD bucket cap, but no one calling out Stef and his murse (or European carry-all)? Come on now. 😂
  3. Just watched the first episode. Genuinely could not imagine being a fan of the Cowboys. Such a soulless, corporate organization. Typically, I’m a big Hard Knocks fan and find something interesting, but this season will be rough if the rest of the way is anything like the first episode.
  4. That happened to me a few weeks back. I emailed customer support and whatever they did/suggested seemed to work. Can’t recall specifically what they said to do.
  5. Chad Greenway on this list? I know he was a solid LB for the Vikes for years, but HOF? Not so sure on that one.
  6. He’s no Buddy Nix, I’ll tell you that.
  7. this is such incredible news. I’m so pumped! Bring on the season!
  8. I know it’s only preseason, but I’m so stoked to see the Bills back on the field next week.
  9. Looks like Diontae Johnson learned how to hang onto the ball. Hopefully he forgets again by week 1.
  10. Nsekhe having a tough go of it.
  11. Walt Anderson is nothing to celebrate. Simply replacing one dope with another.
  12. I have nothing to support this other than the Marcel Louis-Jacques cryptic tweet from the other day, but I’m wondering if Bills keep 7 WR this year with Kumerow replacing Taiwan Jones in special teams. That would leave Diggs, Beasley, Sanders, Davis, McKenzie, and Kumerow. And the last spot a battle between Hodgins and Stevenson.
  13. Right. If that happens great. All for it. This isn’t between keeping McKenzie or Stevenson for me. I said I like Mckenzie and want him on the team. But if Stevenson flashes any of that potential he put on tape in college in the preseason he may not make it through to PS. Plus, McBeane typically doesn’t give up on draft picks this early. Although, that’ll likely change as we go now that they’ve created this depth. You (not you specifically, but the broader board you) want to bail on Stevenson’s shot at returner on day 2 of pads and before any preseason games have been played, that’s up to you, but I’m not sure the Bills have the same philosophy. Not only that, if it did turn out that it was either McKenzie or Stevenson, not sure McKenzie is such a slam dunk pick if Stevenson flashes as camp goes on. McKenzie is a diminutive former 5th round pick with a career receiving stat line of 79 receptions for 744 yards over 4 years in the NFL. Plus, he’s only on a 1 year deal (Stevenson on a cheap rookie contract). I like the guy, and want him on the team, but it’s not like he’s irreplaceable.
  14. I was kind of hoping that Stevenson would win the returner job. I think there is still time for that to happen if he shows well in preseason. It has nothing to do with McKenzie, who I think should make the team. It has more to do with finding a way to stash and develop Stevenson. Sprinkle him in on offense occasionally and see how he grows. He had injuries in college, but the dude was pretty electric with the ball in his hands. Good problems to have, but just highlights how tough it’s going to be to make this roster.
  15. Haha. I’m tracking. Fair enough! Believe me, I hope that guy is dead wrong. I like what they did to retool their line as a casual observer, but as a Bills fan not so much. I’m really hoping our DL additions are enough to get more pressure on Mahomes and get us over the hump. We don’t need them hitting on late round picks on top of everything else.
  16. Not sure what you think my comment was advocating here. I didn’t post that link to the tweet. I think it’s common knowledge that most daily reports coming out of camps this time of year are slanted toward local coverage (and optimism). With the exception of a few national stops and reports sprinkled in. The guy who tweeted thinks Trey Smith is doing well. Whether that’s true or not will eventually be proven out, but at this time it’s all us opposing fans have to go on. If it’s true, it’s another solid offseason gain to their revamped oline that frankly we (or any other team trying to close the gap on the Chiefs) don’t need to see. 🤷‍♂️
  17. Oh good. Just what us Bills fans like to see - Chiefs improving by hitting on their late round draft picks.
  18. Wow. Resemblance is uncanny. Well done.
  19. To be clear, my preference is that Fromm plays well in preseason and he sticks around as QB3 this year. Trubisky is likely here only 1 year and we need a capable backup when he’s gone. Capable being the operative word when speaking of Fromm. We don’t know what he has/does not have yet. Based on some of the early reports out of camp, Fromm has underwhelmed. If that continues, you cut both Fromm and Webb and keep one of them around on PS. Frees up an extra spot on the active roster for another player at a position of depth (e.g., WR, DL, OL, exclusive special teamer).
  20. I’m for that, but if Fromm puts anything on tape in preseason, he’s most likely gone if cut. The league is a sucker for untapped QB potential. Webb may not want to be done playing. And he’s not as big a flight risk if cut.
  21. Similarly, while not a pass rusher like Houston, actually a little surprised KJ Wright is still a FA. Our depth is decent at LB, but the guy seems to make plays every Hawks game I watch.
  22. If that’s the case, I bet they only keep 2 (JA & MT). Release Fromm and Webb and pick Webb back up on practice squad. Frees up another spot on the active roster for another DL, WR, or exclusive special teamer.
  23. I agree. He also seems a lot more confident this year to me. At least from the presser I watched the other day. I’m not saying he hasn’t been confident before, but I just got more of a “this is my team” vibe from him now.
  24. Whether you agree or disagree with Beasley, that press conference went about as well as you could’ve hoped it would. He was respectful with his stance and the media was (mostly) respectful of his desire to keep it to football.
