  1. Yep. I figured that’s what she meant. Just didn’t land like she’d hoped because her choice of words weren’t as sharp. Which is totally out of character for her. She’s usually excellent. Everyone is allowed to have an off moment though. Just surprising for her because she’s usually so good.
  2. Not Kim’s best segment there on NFL Network Pregame talking about Blake and Reid Ferguson. Said it’s the first time brothers are squaring off on the field? False. What about the Edmunds brothers the last few years and week 1 (Steelers and Bills) OR even the other times last year these guys faced each other (or week 2)? She also said Blake Ferguson is hoping for a lot of punt snaps for the Bills today and that both brothers could agree on that. False. Why would Reid want to be out there snapping for a punt? Extra points first, field goals second. Punts a distant third and only if we are up big and trying to coast. I think she didn’t get her thoughts out clearly there in trying to make both points. Kim is usually exceptional, but not her best there.
  3. Same thing in 2019. He made a triumphant return in that wild card game like Tedy Bruschi to the cheats when they played us on MNF years ago. All anyone could talk about was those “warriors” (at least until Josh lateraled 😂). Enough already.
  4. Oh, Ryan Bates. So valuable in his role as a back up that he never sees the field. Will we ever get to know how good this guy is? The mystery continues…
  5. Probably been posted already but this is insane after how little talent he had around him year 1. Mahomes team has always been loaded.
  6. I’m shocked by this after how active he was against the Bills week 1. Not that Chiefs want to trade for him, but that the Steelers refuse to use him. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/10/28/report-chiefs-made-steelers-a-trade-offer-for-melvin-ingram/
  7. Sweeney is one hairy SOB.
  8. We have that speed guy in Stevenson. He’s on IR and ready to come back, but we have no place for him right now.
  9. I appreciate the creativity, but I could not disagree with this trade more strongly. We’d be weakening our already shaky oline for what may amount to a marginal upgrade at receiver, if at all. There’s only one ball to go around. Gabe Davis is fine. We need our guy upright to deliver the ball. Trading Williams doesn’t work toward that. I’d love to unload Addison, but I cant see them doing it. They love him for whatever reason. Not trying to dump on him. Seems like a good locker room guy, but I’d like to see more snaps for our young cats the rest of the way.
  10. The Texans stupidity is infuriating. Leave it to one inept franchise to bail out a slightly less inept franchise and their inability to find a qb and field a competent roster (if this gets done). If what’s been alleged about Watson turns out to be true, he should obviously never play another down. However, if cleared of any wrongdoing, Dolphins don’t deserve a player like Watson.
  11. I hate how much I’m enjoying Tom Brady on this manningcast.
  12. Marshawn cursing like a sailor. Love to see it.
  13. Would love to see the Panthers go get Deshaun Watson. Since Darnold ain’t it.
  14. They make it look really difficult to run a RB screen. I feel like it is rarely successful. Like they’ve never done it before. Seriously, it’s painful to watch.
  15. No. But even if you think Josh is, that’s one helluva hit. Most important position in sports and he nailed it.
  16. McLaughlin has turned into a nice kicker. Wouldn’t trade him for Bass, but I was bummed when we let him go a few years back. Thought he showed well then, but he wasn’t beating out Hauschka.
  17. Really appreciate what Smoke did for the Bills and Josh’s development, but I love Sanders. Worthy upgrade, better all around player, experienced leader, and excellent fit for this team. He keeps this up, I’d love to have him back.
  18. Totally agree on Feliciano’s demeanor. Love that. I just wished that tenacity and fire equated to more blocking success against the more physical teams and players in the league. I also agree on his ability to play center. It has been said many times here already, but he may be a better fit at starting center after this year if they elect to move on from Morse (although we’ll see what they do there because I think Morse has played pretty well this year. Maybe the best since he’s been here). The problem with all this, as you’ve pointed out, is there really isn’t any team out there willing to part with quality oline talent that would represent any sort of upgrade. Andrew Norwell comes to mind as an option. Albeit not a very realistic one. Carolina connection, but has a brutal contract and cap hits the next couple years. I’m also not sure whether his play has been worth it anymore. I’m sure there are other people out there beyond Norwell that fit the bill. It’s too bad Forest Lamp couldn’t stay healthy and didn’t work out. Not saying he’s a world beater, but maybe could’ve pushed Feliciano. Practice squad could be an option, but barring trade, unfortunately, I think it’s going to have to wait until the off-season. Maybe free agency, but I’d love for them to do a Chief-sized investment on the interior oline in the draft. Invest a couple picks in guard or center to make it a strength. Certainly get that every team has weaknesses, but this team is ready now. So I’m in favor of any wizardry tweaks Beane may have up his sleeve to shore up at least one weakness to put them closer to the top.
  19. I’d love a trade that nets us a capable guard. They need to look long and hard at that position this off-season. Feliciano isn’t the answer.
  20. When I saw that shot put throw on the two pointer, I was thinking it was a pretty weak toss for a former QB, but this explains it. Gamer to execute that with a busted hand. Really sucks for the guy. Was having a great start to the year. Hope it doesn’t keep him out long. Keep this in mind if the dropsies come back around. One of Josh’s heaters can’t feel great with a healthy hand. Let alone a broken one.
