  1. All that red looks promising.
  2. It’ll be interesting to see what game plan Daboll comes up with for this one. Im sure he’ll have a wrinkle in the tank like when they played the Chiefs (not that exact game plan, but the wrinkles). I just hope he doesn’t overthink it.
  3. He probably sees it as an opportunity to actually see the field. Daniel Jones is close to bust status, if not already there. Yeah, he could’ve stayed on with a chance to develop into the long term backup here, but there was no guarantee. After riding the unathletic Matt Barkley train for a few years, I think think the Bills prefer an athletic profile more similar to Josh’s traits holding the clipboard so they don’t have to change everything if they need to use him. Which Jake Fromm is clearly not.
  4. This. The stench of that jags loss and the manner with which we got handled at home by the Colts is what turned the public perception and narrative on the Bills. They were darlings all off season and much of the beginning of the year. Bills can flip that back with a win on Monday. Personally, I want to see the offense firing like we saw in that Tennessee game. We’ve had good offensive games since then, but I don’t think any of us have had the pleasure of seeing how capable this offense really is when hitting on all cylinders very often this year.
  5. Does Pete Carroll survive this mess?
  6. Amazing talent, but dude just can’t stay healthy.
  7. Can’t imagine McD will be thrilled about him making this public. With that said, appreciative of what he’s given us this year. Particularly with Star out.
  8. Good grief. Chiefs are on SNF every other week.
  9. I used to be a Collinsworth defender, but that Chiefs game earlier this year completely turned me off on the guy.
  10. I hear ya. Personally, I think Groot will be fine the more experience he gets. I don’t know that it means routine 10 sack guy production, but I think he’ll get his share. Time will tell, and like you, I’m hoping he pans out and excels with continued development and opportunity.
  11. Yeah, the rotation certainly limits opportunities. For comparison, up to tonight, Oweh has played 66% of his team’s snaps (418; 7th on the team), while Groot has only played 51% of the Bills (362; 10th on the team). Oweh has 4 sacks and 5 TFLs (excluding tonight, but 5 sacks if you include tonight), while Groot has 3 sacks and 5 TFLs. To your point, I’d like to see Groot get more opportunities to rush. He’s already pretty solid against the run.
  12. Collinsworth fawning over the Ravens offense as if they’ve won the last two super bowls. Sure, it has been a great regular season offense, but flops in the playoffs. Dude needs to get a grip.
  13. I’d really like to have Greg Newsome about now with Tre being out. Was really hoping he’d fall to us in the draft. Browns had a nice draft. With respect to Baltimore, I haven’t watched all their games, but Oweh has been a pass rush presence in every game I’ve watched of Baltimore’s this year. It’s obviously very early, and I still really like Groot, but we need Groot to make a bit more noise as a pass rusher down the stretch.
  14. It was always going to have to be us. Just go handle your biz and beat these guys
  15. Do I think Meh Jones is going to eventually have to do more for his team to win consistently, particularly in the playoffs? Yes, of course. But tip of the cap to him to this point. He’s played well and it’s ok to say that. Some folks on here are mocking the short passing game they’ve deployed, but it’s not new for that team. Brady dinked and dunked us for years to great success (and no, I’m not saying Jones is Brady). They’ve typically tried to get it out quickly into their playmakers hands and force the defense to make a tackle. That along with solid running game and defense. And Belly has a case full of trophies and rings to prove it works. Bills need to step up and stake claim to the division with a win.
  16. Wildgoose didn’t have to go to the jets. Practice squad players are essentially free agents, free to sign with anyone they choose. So long as it’s to their 53. He could’ve turned them down. But look, I’m not blaming the guy. He saw an opportunity for playing time and a bigger paycheck on a bad team. Can’t beat him up for that. But I’d bet he wished he stayed in light of the Tre injury, but that’s all hindsight.
  17. Hard no on Worley. I’d either kick the tires on Dunbar (didn’t realize he was so tall and youngish at 29) or elevate McLoud. I thought he played well in the preseason. I liked his style of play.
  18. Now AJ Brown out for this game? Are you kidding me. Cheats must be the luckiest team in the league playing against undermanned teams all year.
  19. I’m absolutely sick over this. Second most important player on the team. But…this is where McD has to work his magic. He has a history of coaching up a good secondary here and as his time as a DC. I seem to recall one year with the panthers where they had no one but mid to late round picks starting (rookies I think) and they did alright for him. He’ll need to do his best work here.
  20. Start of the year (before they brought up Cam Lewis) they carried Tre, Levi, Taron, and Dane. Siran would play in a pinch (like he did in the jags game when Taron went down. 4 true corners, only 3 of which are boundary corners is a bit thin at the position. You’d like to carry at least one more if you can, but they went heavier at WR and DL this year. Of course no one can anticipate injury, but this Tre injury puts us in a spot from a talent and numbers perspective. Likely a PS elevation coming. Wonder if Wildgoose will be bummed he jumped to the jets when he did.
  21. Really is incredible how many ***** tv shows are green lit.
  22. That’s why Brieda should be on the field more. Great play!
