This has been my problem with Diggs this year. Yes, he’s been held on occasion, but, like Josh has been doing with those off side penalties this year, he isn’t finishing the play. Ends up being wasted downs/opportunities. He lets up and starts looking around instead of just catching the ball. Then then the ball falls right near him. That and he just isn’t tracking the deep ball that well this year.

Agreed. Take note McD. Have to be aggressive in big games. Other than red zone execution, I feel like that has been the biggest difference this year vs. last. Just not as aggressive. Doesn’t seem like we are dictating to teams as much this year. At least since the KC (and maybe the Titans game). Since then, they’ve been in some weird funk. Second half of Tampa game started to feel like getting some of that back.

Interesting take. I was also thinking Herbert looks a little smoother/more settled working underneath in the games that I’ve seen. Josh has gotten better with it, but can still come in hot with it from time to time. There’s no QB I trust more on a third and long than Josh though. Everything is in play.

Daboll a consideration for Jags HC
Blank Stare replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Daboll would be a good fit for them from working with and developing a young QB like Lawrence. Maybe the most accomplished on that list in that department. I guess you could argue Bienemy with Mahomes is as accomplished, but hard to separate that from Andy Reid. Something is off with Bienemy or else he’d have been hired by now. Pederson could be ok. How he handled the end of last year in Philly really damaged his credibility among players, but hard to argue with a SB ring. Caldwell is meh to me and McDaniels is a douche after what he did to the Colts (along with being a patriot). Although, I wouldn’t hate getting him out of the division. -
I love Allen just as much as the next Bills fan and there is no question Allen had an amazing second half, but not close? Id say Devin White, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and, yes, even Brady (as much as it pains me to say) had damn good games. White in particular seemed to be involved in just about every big defensive play for them. Allen is amazing, and the thought that we have him for the next decade + is SUPER exciting, but that Bucs roster is loaded.

NFL informs clubs 2022 salary cap projected to be $208.2 million

They were interested in Jamison Crowder at one point. Same year they grabbed Bease I think. I think he’s a FA after this season. Will be 29 and coming off a depressed year with the Jets. He may be an option that won’t cost ridiculous $. -

Isn’t Hughes already a FA in 2022? Based on his early season performance, I thought they might try to bring him back another year (and they still may), but he looks shot to me. Pains me to say it because I like Jerry the person/player. Sure he still gets some pressure which is important, but he hasn’t closed the deal very often the last few years. Im sure there is some PFF chart out there that still ranks him highly with respect to pressure, but we all watch the games and see he’s not as effective anymore. -Similarly, Addison is shot and should be gone too. Seems like a good dude, but never should’ve signed him really. -I’m also good with moving on from Star. Not because he can’t play, but because we can’t count on him. -On the fence about cutting Morse. Wouldn’t have a huge problem if they do it, but they better have a plan. If you tell me they flip that cap space for a Levi Wallace extension and another piece on offense (line or skill) and then they add a center in the draft, I’d be up for it. Then again, they may also move on from Wallace too depending how Dane plays down the stretch (can’t pay everyone). -Bease may depend on how he plays down the stretch. Yes, he didn’t do himself any favors with this regime with the vaccine distractions earlier this year (not because he chose to be unvaccinated, but that he was so relentlessly public about it). Those distractions put a lot on a player to perform. Otherwise you aren’t worth the aggravation. He’s been injured, but looked good and played great against the Bucs. Like old Bease. If he keeps that up with a big end of year, I think they may keep him.
