There are other backs I like in this draft (including Hall), but agreed with this point. Cook is the perfect back for this team because of what he does in the pass game alone. Icing on the cake that it doesn’t require a first. I think if there is any of the better corners available at 25 (hoping for Booth), that’s where they go. If a WR slips, we could go there and I’d love that. I also wouldn’t rule out interior offensive line. Not sexy, but I’ll never be upset if they decide to fortify the line to protect the franchise.

Interesting you bring this fumble up. I was watching a replay of that game a while back (and even when I saw it live) where I remember thinking we really dodged a bullet there. I still think we would’ve won that game, but could’ve really taken the wind out of our sails early and either kept them in it or kept it closer for longer. Hard to really gripe about it knowing how dominant the team was that day, but really fortunate that went out of bounds. None of us want to relive any McKelvin-like returning moments in a big game against the cheats.

He asked him about his card selling for $300k. And it wasn’t so much that he asked him about that, but more how he asked it. I mean you get 2 seconds to ask Josh a question and that’s what you ask? No shot he was going to respond with anything worthwhile, if at all (and he didn’t).

One thing that annoys me about media perception with Gilmore is that he was nothing until he went to NE. They developed him. Of course, we all know that’s crap, but I find it annoying.
