The WR FA list for 2022 is very intriguing…
Blank Stare replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cam Jordan can go F himself (but a talent like him would be nice). He’s gone on record saying he’d give a hard no to going to Buffalo. And this is since McBeane and Josh has been here. -
All good dude! Such an unusual arrangement. I agree though. Im all for him going agent-less for his first deal since it’s basically slotted by draft position. You do it right, that’s a smart move. Interested to see how it goes with him negotiating the second, big $ deal though. The devil is in the details on these things. Guaranteed money, structure, etc. so important. For his sake, I hope he has at least someone with some experience in his corner looking over his shoulder on this deal.

Brian Flores suing NFL, NY Giants, Dolphins, Broncos.
Blank Stare replied to BillsFan4's topic in The Stadium Wall
Aside from the weather, if he was going to keep playing, family, more notably Gisele, probably had something to do with that interest. Miami is quite common for travel options to/from South America. I’d imagine much easier for her Brazilian relatives coming in for a visit (or vice versa). -
Even when the team actually wins, It’s always a little surprising to me that anyone but the team would even want this stuff. Only season specific achievement shirt I’m buying would be for a super bowl win. Im not walking around with some division winner or AFC championship shirt or hat to serve as a reminder that we didn’t finish the job that season.

Brian Daboll Wants Matt Lombardo to Show Up on Time
Blank Stare replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m confused. Isn’t that article written by an Eagles fan? I get why he’s interested in a division opponent’s HC hire, but, other than that and sticking up for a former eagles reporter/radio guy, why is he taking up for the NYC media here? Just seems odd, but I’m sure I’m missing something. -
Texans getting closer to hiring Josh McCown as Head Coach

Texans getting closer to hiring Josh McCown as Head Coach
Blank Stare replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
If it goes down, Flores shouldn’t need any other proof than this for his lawsuit. No way in the world you can tell me this guy with zero coaching credentials is the best guy for the job. The only problem is that the Texans have become a joke of a franchise and the strongest candidates don’t seem to be remotely interested, so he may actually be the best remaining guy for the job. -

🤮🤮🤮. What a tool.

I’m good with it. Wasn’t sure if McD would ultimately opt for experience calling plays over continuity. Argument to be made for either. At the end of the day, McD has earned the benefit of the doubt with me on this promotion, and if Josh likes it then I love it.

OL coach Bobby Johnson headed to NY, has signed contract

Yes, perhaps. -

Not surprised so much by the former since it is fairly common around the league, but really surprised by the latter. Like with Daboll, Josh will be a king maker for more and more people as time goes on. Usually, people are trying to hitch their wagon to something like that. Why anyone would even entertain leaving us should be pretty telling about how McD really feels about that person. -

Not surprised or torn up. Up until the last month of the season when they FINALLY played Bates, I was ready to move on from Johnson. -
Gunner's 2022 Mock Draft (v3 and FINAL - p.17!!)
Blank Stare replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Love the Williams pick. The past couple years it has been evident this team needs to infuse more speed into the team. He has that in spades. I love that he also has some size and essentially takes care of our returner woes. I also love Olave. Guy is as smooth as silk. Easily looks to be the best route runner. A little slight of frame, but the dude can fly. If someone takes Williams ahead of Olave and he’s there for us, I’m taking him no questions asked. London is an incredible catcher of the football. Great hands catcher, shielder, and high point guy. He can get down the field, but he looks to lack that top end speed and suddenness Williams and Olave offer. I wouldn’t hate the pick, but I would prioritize Williams or Olave over London simply because I think they have more of what this team needs - speed, speed, and more speed. -
Frazier getting second interview with Joe Schoen and NYG
Blank Stare replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, I wouldn’t hire him or any other defensive coach to be my head coach. Regardless of how successful they are. That’s not to say I don’t think defensive coaches can be good head coaches. I do. And for the most part, total body of work, McD has done great here. That said, my personal preference is to lean toward hiring an offensive minded head coach so we aren’t constantly replacing OCs due to success. -

Not looking good for Leslie to get another shot at HC this cycle. Fair or not, those last 13 seconds undid all the good from this season to most decision makers. -
Aside from Payton (which ain’t happening), the rest of that list, to quote @Sherlock Holmes, is, ”🤮”.
-
I agree. We are basically looking for a new head coach of the offense. He’s good and creative in the pass game. Former HC. Experienced play caller. I honestly don’t think McD is too torn up if Dorsey leaves. Not because he doesn’t appreciate him, but more because he’s never done it before.
-
Criticism of Nagy in Chicago was that he had a ***** passing game. Pep is interesting. What about Doug Pederson? He has connects to McD from Philly, right?
-
For feature back role? No. As a rotational piece? Absolutely. I’d like to see an upgrade in one or both of the size or speed department.

Brian Daboll hired to be Head Coach of NY Giants
Blank Stare replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
You might want to consider a new screen name my friend. -
My comment was more tongue in cheek and a compliment to Josh. And slight to Jones. But…to call his own shots? Sure, why not. Same reason Daboll would even consider the Dolphins. AFC is loaded with young QBs that you aren’t avoiding no matter the division, with exception to AFC South. Depending on how you feel about Lawrence. Also, Raiders roster isn’t a tire fire. Carr is underwhelming to me, but you can do worse. Better than Jones. Who knows, they have connections to Easterby and Caserio. Maybe they go make a move for Watson. That roster with Watson is a contender with a few tweaks to the supporting cast.
-
Anyone surprised? He’s witnessed Josh’s career arc and has to combat him with Meh Jones. Like bringing a knife to a gun fight. He’s getting the F outta dodge.
