Looking a tad light in the stands for 70k in outstanding tickets if it starts at 5 (yes, I know, doesn’t mean 70k or anywhere near it will actually show). Then again, those lines to get in looked nuts.

Obviously, you never want your superstar QB in the middle of a scrum. That’s just not smart. That said, I love the intensity in early camp. Anyone who’s ever been on a strong team knows stuff like this can happen and it will be a gigantic nothing between them once it’s over. Now…stay the F away from the franchise! 😂

As much as I couldn’t stand Keith Ellison as a player back then, I have to admit, as an undersized linebacker, he’d likely be viewed a bit differently if he played in todays NFL. Was ahead of his time. But man, he frustrated the hell out of me back then.

Bruce is my favorite player of all time, but, while he may have a point, hard to see the end game here. Not going to change anything with respect to his candidacy/enshrinement. He’s in, best to move on. I get he’s trying to prevent what he believes to be this transgression from happening in the future, but it comes off as sour grapes.

Yeah, I don’t disagree. Would’ve liked to see them strengthen the line a bit more than they did. The line was pretty rough a good chunk of last year. That said, I do think this chart is being a little tough on our tackles. Not so much Spencer Brown since he still has a lot to prove, but more so Dawkins. Sure, he had a mediocre year up until after his second stint with Covid and coming back during that second Cheaters game. I thought he was pretty damn good from that point on. I also think before the early part of last year that Dawkins has been pretty good for us year over year too. This projection seems to ignore that otherwise solid production in previous years as well as any recency bias with his strong play to close out last year. I’d have to know what goes into this projection, but odd that it seems to not give him much credit for a solid career overall here. I guess I would’ve expected the tackles rated in the mid-to-high 60s. I guess not far off, but a little harsh to me. Guard and center ratings look reasonable.

I mean…I guess I shouldn’t be excited over a punter. If he’s out there, it means our offense failed. That said, offenses sputter sometimes and I love that he can easily flip the field. I preferred the Penn State punter because I think we’re more likely to stall out on our drives near mid-field and he seems to be better at pinning guys inside the 20, but I’m not mad at having the PUNT GOD.
