How about the OT kickoff return for a TD by the Jets a couple of years back? I had the same feeling coming out of the JAX game that I did that day. This kind of stuff has been happening to too much lately, hasn't it? Hopefully, the worm has finally turned...

Yes, it is only a rule for NFL teams. The rule does not apply to colleges.

The first thing I said to my buddy on Sunday was, "Look at all those fans dressed in orange!" :-)

Cool bit from the Mularkey Q&A: Evan (Albany, NY): It was hard to tell from watching the game on television, but it appeared that there was a lot of Bills faithful down with you guys in Miami. Do you think it boosts the team at all from a confidence standpoint to see that type of support and dedication even on the road? MM: Absolutely. The crowd was great. It almost felt like a home game there during a couple of points. When the fans were going back-and-fourth with the Dolphin cheers it was fun to see. We need them again this week at home more than ever. The team notices these things, and it can help. Of course, it helps when the home team stinks and the stadium is practically empty, but hey, what do you want?

Is it time to increase the Active roster?

Umm, let's take a stab at this: bigger and faster guys that hit harder than ever? -
Um, didn't he already have a chance in Cleveland?

Interesting little tidbits on Lee Evans today

What, you didn't like Perry Tuttle? -
The more JP sits -- for now -- the better he will be when his time comes. Let's enjoy the rest of this season, because things are LOOKING UP!!!

If you've ever spent any time in a Manhattan bar (especially a sports bar), then you shouldn't wonder.

Near the airport? Don't know. But you should try, by all means, to get to the NYC Bills Backers at McFaddens. Check them out at nycbbb.com

Ice is dead-on here. The ball was thrown behind the WR, he and the two DBs faded left as the ball came down. Had that ball been thrown in front of the receiver, it would have been a touchdown. This is _exactly_ what happened on the first interception in the Patriots game, when Bledsoe went deep to Moulds, under double coverage. It's a bit disconcerting to see the lack of accuracy repeat itself, but hey, both of those balls were 50 yards in the air. Now, to be fair Bledsoe had a _terrific_ game otherwise against the 'Hawks. That 2-minute drive was a thing of beauty.

The OLine has really impressed me over the last few weeks. McNally's "magic" is really making an impact -- they are *much* better in pass protection than at the start of the season. Having a RB that knows how to pick up blitzes helps immensely, too. The running game is lagging a bit, but still improved from last year. WM is much better than TH at making something out of nothing, though -- witness that TD yesterday. And I can't remember a Bills running back that is able to move the pile like WM. Before the season started, we were all saying it would take until midseason to really see an improvement in the OLine. Well, folks, it's happened. Big-time props to them.

If the Bills are going to lose that 7th game

Sheesh. Relax, I'm not challenging your manhood here, just your assumption. There are no scenarios when a loss is better than a win. Unless you have ulterior motives, that is. -
If the Bills are going to lose that 7th game

Dude, it's _never_ a good thing when the Bills lose, I don't care what the extenuating circumstances are. -
Does anyone have an idea about what Martz is talking about here? "It's just like leaving here today. We can't have our security check here like we do at every stadium in the National Football League. They force us to go to the airport. There's no reason for that. That's just this organization." I figure with the number of "insiders" we have on this board that someone might know...

In today's Snooze: "From a game plan standpoint, offensive teams, if they have some success they're going to stick with those things they were successful with in the first half," said Fletcher, who began his career with the Rams. "The coaching staff did a phenomenal job getting us prepared to play one of the best offenses in the league." Torry Holt, Issac Bruce and Marshall-FREAKING-Faulk had 98 _total_ yards of offense in the second half. Come on, that's just ridiculous. Props to the Defense for making this game a laugher in the second half. They've been doing it all year, too. Yes, it was brought on by the special teams, but the mark of a good team is the ability to capitalize on big plays.

Just wondering... where did they put Ritcher's name? The scoreboard facade was pretty much full before today.

Did anyone else laugh while reading AVP's article on BuffaloBills.com? http://buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=2935 "It might put a slight damper on their playoff hopes, but there is still a long way to go in the season." "This doesn't signify the end of Drew's career, it just means he was struggling and the team needed to go in a different direction for the final minutes. Drew has had better games in his career, but it's not fair to pin the loss on him." "This is one game and one loss. " Give me a flippin' break here: "Oh well, we got embarrassed on national tv again, that's too bad. It's just a game, anyway. Let's try again next week. But first, let's sit around the campfire, sing Kum-By-Ya, and talk about our feelings. " I want some of what he's smoking.

Right on the money. If I were a betting man, I'd say JP comes in at halftime of the Miami game and makes his first career start versus the Browns on 12/12. I don't think he comes in earlier than that because he obviously doesn't have his game legs yet, nor the mental preparation. That said, watch us win out the last five, finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs by a game or two.

How long has Bledsoe been wearing this?
JCBoston replied to Moose's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I noticed that on Sunday, too, so I went through the galleries at bb.com to check. Yes, it looks like he's been wearing it all along, though it doesn't appear he wore it for the Cards game. Might just be the "new offense" teminology thing... -
Are you KzooMike or just stupid? http://nobelprize.org/peace/laureates/1994/index.html

Jerry Gray wasn't out there missing tackles. There must have been ten times in the first half alone that Dillon or Brady was in the grasp behind the line of scrimmage yet managed to get positive yardage.

Any ideas for a game sign to show....
