I think Becton will be a good LT.. And I liked Mims coming out.. I think the Jets will likely take Lawrence.. See if you can get a 2nd plus some other picks for Darnold.. Probably add another WR and some OL help in RD2.. Regardless, this is going to be an uphill battle for the Jets.. Both Miami and Buffalo look like they’ll be continuous playoff contenders for the next 5-6 years and New England is a team that will always be tough to beat with Belichick there.. Doesn’t look good for the Jets..

Shoot.. I’m a musician and I like guys like Kurt Cobain, Townes Van Zandt, Blaze Foley, Elliott Smith, John Lennon and Hank Williams Sr etc. Most of these guys were drunks and heavy into drugs! If I had a platform like Josh Allen I’d be telling kids to stay in school and not do drugs.. Many of my favorite musicians died way too early.. Very sad thing to see kids doing hard drugs at 10 or 12 years old.. wasn’t like that when I was a kid.. 😓

Thing that Josh needs to realize is... He is one person and millions of people all across the country are going to want a piece of him! I LOVE Rueben Brown forever and forever more after he brought John Fina and Jim Kelly over with him to sign an autograph for me n my brother.. Guess what? Jimbo only signed an autograph for my brother, not me! His wife was pressuring Jim to leave and it looked like he didn’t want to be there.. I’m not going to lie, it stung a little bit but I realized that Jim Kelly was only one dude and there was 100 kids around him. I was just overjoyed to be in the presence of Jim Kelly! I was like 5 feet away from him! I still love Jim Kelly to this day and I’m not even slightly upset over it! Exemplary dude and I love him so much, he’s a great human being. With that said Rueben Brown is still my all time favorite Bill! 😃 But what do you do when people want more than you can give? You can’t please everybody. Sometimes you have to say no. Even to a child, even to your friend from high school or a family member especially when you get that second contract! Saying no sometimes is absolutely fine.

He’s only going to get better, that’s the scary thing. Josh is a manimal. Imagine him year 4 or year 5. I’m embarrassed that I had him #2 behind Baker Mayfield coming out. 😱 Kid is very smart. Doesn’t exalt himself but is quietly confident in his team and his abilities. Absolutely love how he said that winning the division is his goal and after that anything can happen in the playoffs. So true. Beat the tar out of the Patriots, Jets and Dolphins for the next 15 years PLEASE Josh!!! 😆👍

Star will be back.. Plug him in next to Oliver and our starters at interior DL will be stablished. Zimmer and Phillips fight for a spot behind Oliver and Buffalo hopefully adds another 1 tech behind Star.. So yes, Butler, Jefferson and Matakevich should be easily replaced.. I’d also like to see us move on from Addison and Murphy as well. I believe Epenesa will be a quality Edge.. I don’t know what the draft board looks like, but it would be amazing if we could add a quality DE with that 1st pick.. It’d be great to see us increase Epenesa’s snaps going into the playoffs.. I was concerned about Hughes over the first half of the season but he’s really picked it up.. Might as well n try n get one more good year out of him and then let him walk.. Best case scenario is there’s a blue chip DE prospect when we pick at 32.. Would have a pretty solid rotation going on with him, Epenesa, Hughes and Johnson.

Well.. Once again, I don’t think we should give anyone titles.. Between playing Will, Mike and Sam we’ll likely see percentages. If it’s 3rd and short, why not have Klein at Mike and blitz him up the gut? If it’s 3rd and long, why not plug Edmunds in at Mike? Whomever is playing Mike should be determined based off of the situation. Mix it up and vice versa.

Nope. You don’t pay RBs. Singletary and Moss will be just fine, build that OL. And when Singletary and Moss’ contracts are up, draft another RB in the 3rd round. Rinse and repeat.

I think Edmunds has mega potential at Will and Sam. In passing situations he is a very good Mike. I disagree that he can’t blitz. I’ve seen him get good pressure and even push offensive linemen backwards when he rushes. Is he Luke Kuechly? Hell naw. He’ll never be a top 5 elite MLB. He’ll never be a Ray Lewis. He does have great versatility though which is extremely valuable. He can play Mike, Will and Sam at a pretty decent level. He should be moved all over. He is not an elite MLB, but he’s a good LB. I hope his contract reflects that. If he’s willing to take $9M-$10Myr I’d love to have him back when it comes time.

I don’t like the idea of having any one true player as a Mike. I like versatility at LB. It’s much harder for offenses to determine what you’re going to do if all three of your LBs can play all three positions. Much easier to disguise blitzes and which players are going to drop back in coverage. Why not put Klein in at Mike in running situations and Edmunds in at Mike in passing situations? Let’s not be too concerned with titles, they matter not. Move everyone around, switch positions and duties based off of what the offense is giving us. This is why I think Buffalo oughta draft another LB with positional versatility. Much harder for offenses to figure out what we’re doing..

I think the only way a defense can dominate a QB like Allen or a Brady or a Manning is if you can apply pressure with simply your front four. In order to do that though you need elite players at pretty much every position though.. Very hard to do.. And costs lots of $$$$$$$$$.

Beat me to it.. Barkley will be gone.. although Fromm may never be starting material, Barkley isn’t exactly the best backup either.. should be easy to replace.. Wouldn’t mind another late round pick on a project QB to groom behind Josh..

Yes.. Very strong, very instinctive, very good downhill bruiser but not athletic nor good in coverage.. Would probably be a premier player if he were one or two steps faster.. As far as what sets we run, I don’t know.. Suppose it would be nice to see three LBs on the field every so often.. but I like the idea of Klein at Mike and Edmunds at Will followed by a heavy dose of safety blitzes.. Would expect to see Poyer’s name called quite a bit.. Milano should be eased back in.. We’re playing a running team, not exactly his forte.. More Klein and Edmunds in nickel packages please!

It’s kind of crazy how insightful some the posters are here. I feel insignificant at times. Probably one of the smarter message boards I’ve been on.

I think that’s a certain amount of humility that I did not expect from Gase.

Every QB is gonna have a few stinkers.. Even Manning.. Even Brady... Even Russell Wilson.. Shoot.. looking back at all my failures in life, I guess I failed some tests miserably as well.. How can I critique Allen when he’s a pro QB in the NFL and I’m some random Joe Schmoe? He’s accomplished more in his short life than I will in 100 or 200 years.. Shoot, if I could remember to put the lid up on the toilet before I pee would be a good start.. I’m not worried so much about the occasional failure, rather a series, a pattern of failures.. Allen has a pretty solid pattern of great QB play this year.. He’s corrected mistakes and has improved rapidly all across the board.. Not worried by a few bad plays here n there..

I’d love it if they cut CJ Mosley.. That guy would be fantastic in a Bills uni.. Let Milano walk.. Roll in Mosley, Edmunds and Klein as our starters next year! Poifect!

I was just about to say that about Brown.. but realistically he may have a few more years left.. I think eventually Gave Davis takes over that #2 spot.. Beasley is also getting a bit long in the tooth.. Regardless, given that we are a passing team I see no movement on our depth chart unless the Bills drafted a speed WR/return man to take over for Roberts... (which is not a bad idea to consider in 2021) None of which Hodgins can do..

It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Hodgins.. Both he and Gabe Davis had great camps.. I’d be surprised if Hodgins amounts to something but we’ll see.

Well.. I don’t necessarily expect it.. but I also realize that way way worst teams than the 2020 Bills have won it.. Think the status quo should be that the Bills lock down the AFC East every year, hopefully dominate the Pats and Dolphins and just go on run after run for the next 12-15 years Josh is here.. Goal should never be just a measly playoff win, dream a little.. 👍

I think our goal should be to win the Super Bowl every year we make the playoffs.. Do we really want the Bills to have a future like Philip Rivers did in San Diego every year? Ohhh. You threw for 4,000 yards and 30 TDs so you must be good!! but then you lose in the first round of the Playoffs every year.. In a hypothetical scenario, the Bills vs some of the more recent Super Bowl champs like the 2007 Giants.. the 2011 Giants.. the 2015 Broncos.. the 2017 Eagles... ————— I’d take Buffalo vs all these guys.. C’mon.. Peyton Manning snuck one out his final year and he threw 9 TDs and like 17 picks that year.. We have just a good of chance as anyone.. WAY worse teams than the 2020 Buffalo Bills have won it all.. Just gotta get hot at the right time and own the AFC East for the next 10-15 years consistently and we should be golden.. Once the playoffs start ***** your record.. *Patriots 19-1

My friend.. I tell you this.. This very question will determine if McD is a legit long term coach in Buffalo.. Can he fill the cupboards with an elite offensive staff when Daboll leaves? Or will he hire another Dennison?

I think we have a better team than the Giants and Eagles recent Super Bowl teams.

Goal should always be to win the AFC East.. Every year that needs to be the goal.. Do that consistently and eventually I think we get a ring.. This Bills team right now is better than some teams that have won the Super Bowl in the past.. I’m not cool with saying we should walk away with just a playoff win.. Anything can happen in the playoffs, anything.. Are we not better than the Eagles or Giants Super Bowl teams??? All it takes is Josh Allen getting red hot at the right time and this defense playing up to their potential.. Any time the Bills make the playoffs, the goal is a Lombardi.. every time! But obviously in order for this to happen we need to own the Dolphins and the Patriots consistently.. We have the best QB in the division.. shouldn’t be a problem!
