And don’t think that other teams wouldn’t do this to Josh. -

I hate to say this, I really do.. but penalty or not, whether this gets a flag 10/10 or not, whether what Smith did was illegal or not, if the Bills defense takes shots like this at the right time, it is an effective way to play defense. I agree that you can’t do this too often and I agree that in certain situations this isn’t the smart play, but tell me how many shots can Fields can take like this without seeing ghosts? If we can get a couple shots on Wilson, Tua and Mac Jones like this, wouldn’t you say it’s worth it? I think you have to weigh the penalties against the possible momentum shift of the game. I am against going after peoples knees and that sort of thing, that’s absolute bullcrap, but a few hits like the one Andre landed on Fields can win you football games. -
Mitchell Trubisky's revenge PLUS Highlights

I was a big fan of his coming out of college. Did he become the QB that I expected him to be? No, but I do think he can be a starter in the NFL. I do think he would dominate in New England, especially with the TEs that they have. This offense is perfect him. The Erhardt Perkins offense is tailor made for Trubisky. I can’t believe New England didn’t sign him. Did they seriously go with Cam Newton over Trubisky? Unbelievable. -

It was a clean hit, it looked dirty because of how outmatched Fields was. If Chicago doesn’t get their ***** together this kid is going to get hurt. -
I think Knox and Hollister are very decent. Are they exceptional? No. Are they acceptable? Yes. Gilliam is a bruiser, but is mainly a FB. I like Sweeney, at the least as a blocking TE who may make a few grabs. Ultimately I think the Bills will sift through the waiver wire for more depth at TE. 7 WRs may benefit us in the open field, but in goal line and short yardage situations the lack of depth at TE will kill us. No more QB sweeps with Josh, no more RPO, no more power run, dive plays, HB toss plays etc. Where it matters the most we’re literally screwed.

It wouldn’t surprise me. I’ve been saying it for months now. CB is obviously our weakest unit. Tre is a superstar and Levi is a solid starter but there is little to no depth behind them. Is Siran Neal more than just a big nickel? Would McCloud or Jackson be able to float sink or swim time? Ultimately I do think Buffalo will add another corner, likely as other teams start trimming their rosters. There could be salary cap casualties, other teams may be deeper at corner than we are and one shakes free and I wouldn’t rule out a trade either. In the end, CB/DB/secondary is Coach McDermott’s forte. I would consider it folly to think that he isn’t aware of what he has there. A lot of our guys may not be household names, but he is aware of what he has there and I doubt he would overlook that area once again. I could also see another TE added or perhaps even a WR as well. We do have some quality at WR but if a really solid vet shakes free, it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see someone added in that event. Every year solid players become available via roster trim downs. So ultimately, in the end, I think McD/Beane will have to play the board and see who becomes available, but no, I do not think we’re done yet, not even close.
