  1. Grass is greener.. As far as Singletary goes, I think Daboll is simply going with the hot hand there. Some weeks it may be Moss other weeks it may be Breida. It’s folly to stick to RBBC simply for the sake of sticking to RBBC. You always go with whomevers hot. Singletary is our best back, but I accredit our running success to the extra OL sets that we’re running (Doyle at TE) and that’s the fruit of Daboll’s play calling. It seems to me that our OL was the major issue in play here. It seems to me that it took awhile for Bobby Johnson to get our starting line dialed in and that played a major factor in our running attack or lackthereof of a running attack. Exhibit A: Putting Spencer Brown at RT and Darryl Williams at RG and Exhibit B: Ryan Bates at LG. It took WAY too long for these changes to be made. This line needs to stay the same, period! If he starts Feliciano or Boettger over Bates, what a tragedy that is! Also, I am in no way overestimating the ability of Daboll. He dropped almost 50pts on a Bill Belichick team in the playoffs, that just doesn’t happen. 7 TDs for every 7 drives our offense had on the field versus a Bill Belichick team? That’s unheard of. Daboll is gone in the offseason for that reason alone. Don’t forget that Allen looked like hot trash until Daboll got hired either. Do I expect Allen to regress? Not to the point of him being a bad or terrible player anyways, but if we don’t hire the right coach, yes, absolutely he could regress to being a good player and not a great one. Once again, we have an established offense, with an established elite QB. Hire an EPO guy and let Allen call his own plays. Allen likes this offense, Allen thrives in this offense, our staff is built around this offense and half our roster is familiar with this offense. Why start over? We have a winning culture here, any new hires must adhere to the offense our MVP QB thrives in. Period.
  2. Yes, sir. I do think that Daboll has been a huge stabilizing force for Josh Allen, no question. He turned out to be a lot better than Rick Dennison, that’s for sure. Thing is with Daboll is that he learned under both Bill Belichick and Nick Saban. So we are talking about arguably the greatest NFL coach of all time and the greatest college coach of all time. Daboll has picked the brains of giants throughout his entire career, giving him an unbelievable, vast wealth of knowledge from two of the best to ever do it. Daboll is as good as gone 100%. I hope for a few things: #1. Buffalo hires someone who runs the same offense that we’re running now, the EPO. #2. Buffalo keeps copies of Brian Daboll’s offense and Josh gets to go through and pluck every single play that he likes from it for our new OC. #3. Our next OC uses the verbiage that Daboll, Allen and our entire offense uses currently instead of the other way around. It makes sense for 1 person to relearn our verbiage instead of half of our roster. Things will go more smoothly, there will be no learning curves for our players and we’re off to the races. Ultimately, in closing, I think we need to keep things the same for our players as much as humanly possibly.
  3. Oh, yeah, I agree and I know some folks who are really hard on Daboll, but in my mind he is one of the best play callers in franchise history and he is certainly a top 5 OC in the NFL. I don’t want to be too cynical here and I’m not trying to be because I respect our coaching staff and FO, but as far as the short term is concerned, as in immediate and preeminent dangerous threats, losing Daboll is the most dangerous potential reality for us that can turn things sideways. McDermott is a defensive guy, not an OC.
  4. I think losing Daboll could be frightening. At that point you would have to trust Beane and McDermott to find a quality replacement and you would have to hope that Allen has a say in it too.
  5. I said it before the year. Buffalo is going to win out and win the Super Bowl and I absolutely hate tooting my own horn and all. 🤥
  6. I think that charity is something that everyone should participate in, even if it’s just $20/month. I like St. Jude’s Children Hospital the best. There’s no better charity IMO. Maybe other than surprising a homeless man on the street with $20. 👍
  7. Singletary, Morse, Bates, Brown, Doyle, Wallace and Jackson.
  8. Corner has to be in the conversation with TreDavious being out with an ACL. Then again, McD has seemed to be more than capable at finding these guys late in the draft so I don’t know. I think WR and RB are sneaky needs. Motor is probably one of my favorite players on the roster but if we could add an elite back we’re in good shape. I also cannot deny that a stud WR to go opposite of Diggs would be a good idea. Allen is our MVP, why not give him more toys to play with? WR, RB, TE, NT, CB, LB
  9. If I knew it was a guaranteed win? Tampa Bay! There would be nothing better than dropping 50 on Brady right after we dropped 50 on Belichick!
  10. He’s way better than Shaq and I think he’ll be better than Rousseau in the end too. Boogie can set the edge and he has a nice spin move too and has nice bend. He’s gotten 3.5 sacks yet he’s only dressed for 9 games and at a limited snap count at that. Rousseau has 4.0 sacks but he’s started 18 games for us. Sounds to me like Boogie has done more with less.
  11. Having Tommy Doyle next to Spencer Brown and Darryl Williams in those extra OL sets doesn’t hurt either! But yes, Bates is awesome. I would argue that he is a better player than Feliciano and Boettger 100%.
  12. Hopefully we can squeeze a Super Bowl out of him first.
  13. Daboll is a sick game caller, one of the best we’ve ever had and certainly one of the best in the league.
  14. I love this package. That whole right side is sick.
  15. I think WR is a sneaky need, it’s more pressing than some may like to admit. I think an elite RB would also add some mustard to this offense as well. Another CB, maybe even two CBs at that. LB depth, a few quality NTs. Another TE to go with Knox.. And I’m kind of torn on the OL because although we may not have any elite talents there outside of Dion Dawkins, we still have great depth overall and we’re deep there.
  16. I think the FDIC is guaranteed up to $250k. May I recommend you put all your money in your savings and not your checking?
  17. What has he done to boost his stock? The man is a glorified garbage time handoff technician specialist at this point. If Daboll goes on to greener pastures? Maybe. Otherwise I hope Buffalo re-signs him.
  18. Time has proven to be very kind to McBeane. I pretty much see 3 or 4 hits in every draft since 2017. The one gripe I have is that they let Wyatt Teller walk after drafting him in the 5th round. 🤦‍♂️ Oh, and trading down with Kansas City so they could take Mahomes? Thy sins have since been forgiven! 😎
  19. 🙄 My couch will be just fine thank you.
  20. We will call you the Buffalo Shakespeare of the message board.
  21. The decrease in stadium capacity will automatically increase the ticket prices due to supply and demand. Inflation and stadium prices will factor in as well. All in all, the Bills should have no problem filling a 60,000 seat stadium, increased prices or not.
  22. The AFC East would of been a different story with Herbert as Miami’s starting QB.
  23. I have little information so I don’t know, but after doing some light research, I would say no. If he wins a playoff game though I would have to say yes. Ultimately as far as HC is concerned you typically want a mastermind at OC or DC, but preferably a OC, not a ST coach.
  24. He’s a punter and you’re applauding him for being an elite holder? smh. He’s gone in the offseason.
  25. He looked great his rookie year too IIRC, he showed great promise and then he tore his ACL in 2019. In 2020, he didn’t look the same and in 2021, it seems like he’s gotten a lot better as the season has went along. I’ll admit that he’s looked great at times and I’ll admit that I want him on the team but I’ll also admit that I would set a limit on how much I would be willing to pay him. He’s a good player, but he’s a streaky player. I could be wrong though and you could be right. PFF has an astronomically high grade on him this year so you don’t seem to be alone in your opinion. I said he’s okay though because of the inconsistencies in his play. I figured great play followed by terrible play makes him “okay”, but I will also admit that there is enormous potential in his upside because he flashes great play at times to begin with, so that must conclude that he has a high ceiling.
