Allen is certainly in the mix, but Tom Brady is the GOAT. I doubt we see another QB with as much production as Brady. Keyword “production.” I do think it’s fair though that we lump Allen in with the Reggie White, Bruce Smith, Deion Sanders and Aaron Donald type players of the world though.

It matters not what people think. Many folks don’t even have the slightest clue in terms of which player will be even remotely decent when they reach the NFL. Even if you have a light to moderate feel for the draft you’re doing better than most fans. Oh the hell I caught for wanting us to draft Josh Allen and the flogging I took for also having a high grade on Boogie Basham. Yet the idiots cling to each other in droves because they have strength in numbers and they know that their stupid takes will be buried under thousands of pages of nonsense that no one will ever see again in the following years later.

You don’t put the fast twitchy guys on someone like Kelce! You put them on the fast twitchy guys on the other team! Would you rather have a guy who is 6’2 and 200lbs on an explosive slot receiver? Or would you rather we draft a guy specifically for those kind of receivers? Good luck finding a corner that big and can run that fast in the draft. Those guys get drafted in the top 10. Also, there’s plenty of undersized corners in the NFL. You put those guys on the explosive speed types. Would an army be well rounded if it had no aircrafts and only tanks? Or if they had only foot soldiers with no tanks? Just because a player is built differently than another, it doesn’t mean that they’re not worth having. What good is it if you have eyes, but no ears? Or if you have arms but no feet? Every player makes up a different part of the collective body, none is better than the other. Also, I don’t know why on Earth you would not want an explosive CB especially when we’re going up against teams like Kansas City, that really boggles my mind. We got destroyed by speed. Buffalo needs a corner that can shut speed receivers down.

I think it’s possible that we not only replace Levi, but we upgrade RCB in RD3 or RD4. I would love to see Marcus Jones in the 3rd round. Yes, he’s undersized but he’s fast and explosive and he is a very willing tackler. He’s the kind of guy you want shadowing the fast/twitchy types of receivers in the NFL. He’s a nasty KR/PR as well. Almost reminds me of one of the Bills All-Time greats Terrence McGee. I’d probably put Alontae Taylor right behind Jones, he should be there in the 3rd-4th as well.

I would like either Christian Kirk or Will Fuller and then I would like to see us go BPA in RD1, which could ultimately mean another WR or a corner or maybe even an IOL or IDL at that point.

Well, I hate to say it, but this draft is completely loaded with great corners to the point of complete overkill. I see guys even in the 3rd to 4th round that could potentially start.

Problem with bumping Dion to guard or RT is that he will not want to take a pay cut.

25 isn’t exactly “old”. We have a window to win now. We drafted Tremaine Edmunds when he was what, 20? If you can get 2-3 quality years out of a 4th, 5th or 6th round pick, you’re doing good as far as I’m concerned. While I may never proclaim myself to have the same expertise as someone like Sean McD or Brandon Beane, I highly doubt most fans know who these players are.

Romeo Doubs, WR, Nevada • At 6’2 205lbs he has ideal size for an outside receiver. He is built very similarly to Gabe Davis although he is much faster. • Although he doesn’t have elite speed, he is plenty fast enough to break free on go routes and deep balls. • He’s strong enough to beat press coverage and often outmuscles defenders on contested catches. • Caught 80 balls for 1,109 yards last year for 11 TDs. • Averaged 14.2ypc on punt returns for 170 yards in 2021. Marcus Jones, CB, Troy/Houston - At 5’8 he’s undersized, but what most folks don’t realize is that he’s a ballhawk and a violent hitter. • I’d probably put Cody Ford, Jon Feliciano and Darryl Williams on the trade block. Maybe even AJ Epenesa and Tremaine Edmunds too, depending on compensation. • In FA I would target Mike Gesicki and Juju Smith-Schuster (I know he’s not a process guy, bite me!) • In the draft I would go: 1. Kaiir Elam, CB 2. Andrew Booth, CB 3. Drake London, WR 4. Jameson Williams, WR 5. Tyler Linderbaum, OC/OG 6. Jordan Davis, NT (in that order) • If we go CB RD1, go WR in RD2 • If we go WR RD1, go CB in RD2 • I like the idea of trading up in RDs 2, 3, 4. I feel you can be very aggressive here without losing a whole bunch of draft picks, especially if we get some mid round picks from some of the players I would like us to shop. • Draft at least two CBs minimum. • Draft one WR fairly high (RD1, RD2) and also sign a premier WR in FA. • Restructure Mitch Morse, extend him a few years with incentives so he does not retire. • Work on extending Stefon Diggs.

Don’t forget, he had COVID twice.

So the league isn’t investigating this, but what about the police? This is predatory behavior and if left unchecked it could result in something else that’s progressively worse. I’m glad the cheerleaders are getting a fat payout though $$$$$.

Well, you could be right about Williams, although I thought that our line did really good last year when our starting lineup was: Dawkins/Bates/Morse/Williams/Brown Dawkins is a known commodity at this point and Brown is a guy who I thought flashed very solid potential at times, so I don’t think you send either of them to the bench. The main issue I have, which you have kindly illuminated is the Williams at RG situation. The main issue at this point is money. If Dawkins or Brown went down, you could do much worse than bumping Williams back out to RT. I will also say that this Linderbaum kid would not be a bad choice by any stretch of the imagination. Drafting him in my mind would be highly understandable and this is coming from a guy who thinks that Morse is criminally underrated by most Bills fans. Also, in the event that we did draft Linderbaum, if he’s even there, that would greatly solidify our interior OL and would make the idea of losing Darry Williams much more justifiable and understandable. Not to mention that our 3 starting IOL at this point would all have tremendous potential on sweeps, pull plays and getting to second level, which coincidentally is the same reason why I see a hope and a future for Spencer Brown. All in all, I’m more than good with Linderbaum, but I’m also good with half a dozen or so picks there as well.

I think the Bills have 3 solid tackles in Dawkins, Brown and Williams and Doyle is a solid backup kind of player. If we go OL RD1, give me Linderbaum preferably and by a wide margin and give me the Zion Johnson kid if Linderbaum is gone.

I am eager to see the weigh ins and the Combine drills. Unlike McKenzie, I think he has the frame to take big hits. He is more so built like Cole Beasley but he has the speed and athleticism of Isaiah McKenzie. People have gone on and on about how this offense needs speed, this is your guy. I like him in a trade down scenario or if he is there for us in RD2. It may even make sense for Buffalo to go BPA in RD1 and then to trade up in RD2 to nab him. I think one of the greatest questions that we may ask ourselves going into the draft is: Would we rather have 2-3 impact players or would we rather add a lot of depth? I am firmly against trading up in RD1, I find it to be way too costly, but I adore the idea of Buffalo moving up in RDs 2, 3, 4 as I think there is more value to be had in doing so in these rounds. Back to Wan’Dale, I have a bottom of the first round grade on him. I’m hoping that Buffalo can trade some of our dead weight so we can move up in RDs 2, 3, 4. Guys like Feliciano and Ford and maybe even Edmunds could net us picks that could potentially land us some potential difference makers in the draft. I think amassing multiple picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds year after year is the best way to build a team, but I cannot ignore the impact of a potential difference maker in RD1.
