  1. If Cleveland goes QB, the Giants will take Barkley or there will be a deal in place for us to move up to #2 for Rosen or Darnold, Giants go to 3 and take Barkley and load up on extra picks.
  2. If somebody put a gun to my head and made me guess, I think we package 12 and trade up to #3. I think they want Rosen.
  3. Well, no way the Browns take Rosen after he publicly dissed them, if the Browns go QB it won't be him. The fact that we are trading for #3 tells me that Gettleman tipped his hand to Beane and let them know they're taking Barkley at 2. The Giants told us that IMO because they want us to trade up, the Giants want Barkley more than any QB in the draft so if Buffalo goes to #3, it forces the Browns to go QB. If the Browns take Barkley, then Darnold and Rosen come off the board at 2 and 3 and Cleveland is left with Mayfield or Allen at 4. That's how I see it anyways.
  4. Gettleman is key here. Perhaps he told Beane that if Cleveland goes QB, the Gmen are taking Barkley. This could be the Giants and Bills teaming up to get their guy. Giants want to maim Cleveland into taking a QB, Buffalo wants either Rosen or Darnold. But the key is Gettleman.
  5. Rosen is smart though. I think there is no chance he busts, he may be a disappointment, he may never be a franchise QB, but I think he is starter material. I don't like his attitude, no fire, no competitive attitude. Which is why I'm all in on Mayfield, he is all heart.
  6. Mayfield Darnold Rosen Luck Cousins Keenum Brees (he will cost too much and I don't think we are there yet as a contender)
  7. I hope we don't spend big money on DT. I'd take KW back at the right price though. Seems like DTs in particular have a tendency of getting lazy after big contracts so I definitely wouldn't break the bank for one.
  8. QB or fail. I don't want Luck, Cousins or a LB or DT. I want a franchise QB at 3. Do whatever it takes!
  9. I think they take Allen, but I want Mayfield.
  10. If I got to choose it'd be Case Keenum and I still like Baker Mayfield.
  11. We got 40 million in cap space, we can move to #2 and draft the best QB in the class and still have a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 2 5ths on top of that.
  12. Might as well go all the way at this point, we got the picks to do it without setting us back at all. Whatever it takes goddamn it.
  13. Good news is, we have the Gettleman connection in NY. We got Frank Reich in Indy and we have had cordial dealings with the Browns.
  14. We traded up to 12 because we want to be sure we land Harrison Philips before anybody else takes him!
  15. I can definitely live with a trade up now, much much easier to manage. We will have #2, a 2nd and a 3rd this year and not be on the hook in 2019. Finally a front office that is worth a damn.
  16. It would probably take 12, 22, 53 and 65 for #2.
  17. 12 + 22 gets us up to #3 overall according to the draft value chart.
  18. That's even better than a 2nd round pick! Wow.
  19. I'm okay with another 3rd, but a 2nd would be unreal.
  20. Upscale is overrated, I'd rather rub elbows with the blue collar average guys than the upscale snobs, but maybe that's just me, I'm a simple man.
  21. I'd loooove Butler, at the right price. If we can get him at a Micah Hyde level contract, yes please. As an 8-10 million dollar man? No thanks.
  22. I think this class will produce a few gems, just from a sheer numbers standpoint. I mean Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold, Allen, Jackson, Rudolph, Lauletta, White etc. Too many good prospects for there not to be at least a couple stars.
  23. Kevin Kolb all over again, he'll end up on IR within 6 games.
  24. None of the above, Tom Savage. I loved him as a college player, his stats are decieving, he has not scratched the surface as far as what he can be. He has the potential to be a very good backup that can hold the fort down for a few games.
