  1. This isn't a move up from 12 thread, this is an oh **** the top 4 QBs are gone at 12 thread. This isn't a trade up thread, the top 4 QBs are gone at 12 and Jackson and Rudolph are the best QBs available. You guys say Jackson, that's fine, I'd go after Foles...
  2. You take Jackson at 12? I think he is a 2nd round pick. No thanks, I think that would be a huge reach for Jackson or Rudolph for that matter, maybe at 22.
  3. Okay, so here are your options at QB; Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield and Allen are all gone and Rudolph and Jackson are what's left at 12, what do you do? If you don't at least consider this angle, I think you're going to be crushed.
  4. Relax I was hoping this would turn into a Nick Foles vs Rudolph, Jackson, White and Lauletta debate. I mean there is a chance we get screwed out of Mayfield and Rosen, I'm simply saying that if that happens I hope we strongly consider Foles.
  5. I don't go through life with wishful eyes, there are plenty other Rosen and Mayfield mocks on this site, maybe you should go to your safe spot and read one of those mocks. This mock is an alternative to the trade up for QB mocks, can we at least consider the idea that Rosen and Mayfield are gone?
  6. I rationalized Roquan at 12 with the possibility Edmunds went before him. Probably not, which why it's called a mock draft, just like every other mock draft on this website. It's as realistic as Rosen or Mayfield being there at 12 FWIW.
  7. Nick Foles also had a phenomenal season as a starter 27:2 TD/INT ratio, possible he just needed time to develop. Proves that he is malleable. Played lights out on the biggest stage of his life. 1.) Allen 2.) Darnold 3.) Mayfield 4.) Rosen 5.) Foles 6.) Rudolph 7.) Jackson
  8. What's silly is drafting a project QB that some teams view as a WR over the Super Bowl MVP.
  9. Yeah, that's a great idea, draft a RB over the QB that beat Tom Brady in the Super Bowl and won MVP.
  10. This draft was intended with the idea that Rosen and Mayfield are gone, if you want to dress up like Peter Pan and imagine that we somehow land a top 4 QB, that's fine but don't expect me to play along. I have Foles ahead of Jackson and Rudolph.
  11. Yeah, I mean who wants a QB that beat Tom Brady in the Super Bowl?
  12. Jackson will not be a starting QB. Foles would provide veteran leadership with Super Bowl experience. McCarron and Foles would by no means be a bad QB stable, it would actually be a solid group. Once again, this draft isn't sunshine and flowers but I don't think that's how the real world works. This mock is contingent on the top 4 QBs all being gone. Roquan Smith has a better chance at making it to 12 than Rosen or Mayfield but fans ignore that. There's 4 QB needy teams in the top 5, ever think maybe we can't trade up?
  13. Thanks for reading, have a good day.
  14. Foles > Jackson, Rudolph, White, Falk, Lauletta It is very very real that the top 4 are gone before we get the chance to trade up. Of course it's possible one falls, this is just an alternate mock/contingency plan in case we are on the outside looking in.
  15. I think I picked 5 players that would be starters, not one prospect I listed is a bad player, you have no clue what you're talking about.
  16. And what do you do when the top 4 QBs are gone in the top 5 and we can't trade up?
  17. Well, thanks for reading guys, I wanted to do something different, maybe look at the draft from a different angle. I wasn't trying to guess what McBeane are going to do, this is just what I would do. Now I'm pretty sure some of you are grateful I'm not the GM.
  18. #12.) Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia: Buffalo gets an elite talent at a position of need, Roquan becomes the QB of our defense. TRADE! Buffalo trades #22 and #96 to the Philadelphia Eagles for #32 and QB Nick Foles! #32.) Donte Jackson, CB, LSU: I understand this is probably an unpopular pick but you can never have enough corners. Tredavious, Jackson and Davis would be a really special group. #53.) Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M: Buffalo adds a burner and someone who can stretch the field and do some nice things underneath. #56.) Orlando Brown, RT, Oklahoma: Bills get a mauler on the right side and a perfect fit for Daboll's power offense. #65.) Mark Andrews, TE, Oklahoma: Bills add more firepower on offense for Nick Foles to work with. #121.) Scott Quessenberry, G/C, UCLA: Comes in right away and competes amongst Groy and Bodine, gives us a good group of interior linemen to work with.
  19. Oh, yeah? How bad do you want to move up Howie? #32 and Nick Foles for #22 and #96?
  20. I haven't given up on him, he is still a nice prospect.
  21. Rashaan Evans is my favorite LB in the draft by far, he is my guy at 22, I love him. Josey Jewell will also be a stud as well.
  22. Can anyone really blame him? I understand where he is coming from, I thought the same for years. Rodgers should be going to Super Bowl after Super Bowl like Brady in New England. Green Bay is a grossly mismanaged franchise IMO.
  23. Dez could very possibly be our #1. Has he lost a step? Sure, but he is still a highly productive wideout in the NFL. Dez Bryant at 70% is better than many many many rookies coming out this year at 100%, don't get it twisted. Benjamin and Bryant would be awesome for Josh Rosen if we can move up to get him.
