I’d rather we draft Njigba the WR from OSU who they mocked to go two picks later.

It's known that Gesicki can't block, but he can get open and can catch the ball. Would you want Beane to sign him?
Oh, absolutely. He would absolutely replace Cole Beasley as Josh’s trusty slot WR.
I hear people say that he can’t block, but the guy’s 6’6 250lbs, trust me, he can block, he may need to learn better techniques though.
Gesicki is probably my top FA. Pay him $10M/yr for the next two years and call it a day. -
I have no problem with Josh, he’s a good kid and a great football player. Probably the most exciting football player in the league but he needs to cut down on the turnovers.

Burrow and Chase are just good. It kind of sucks. We're gonna have to get pressure on him with a 4 or even 3 man rush.
I’m hoping the Bengals lose. I think Buffalo would have a much easier time beating Baltimore than they do Cincinnati.

Good team or bad team I tell you this, even if a bad team gets hot at the right time in the playoffs we can bring a Super Bowl home. Gimme them ugly wins over pretty losses. A wins a win.

This is also true.
Is it possible that prayer helped everyone involved to perform exactly the way they needed to for Damar to survive? It certainly helped those of us who were hoping he would survive and helped us feel like we were providing aid in our own way.
I guess my point is if people want to believe it is a miracle and that prayer helped, what difference does it make? I don’t hear anyone saying that others need to believe in prayer over the science and preparation that saved Damar’s life.
And couldn’t “science” be man’s God-given intelligence and ingenuity in action?
Or maybe God allowed this to happen to bring people closer together? I saw two cities come together out of love. I saw a charity that had around $2,500 raise $5M overnight. I saw a nation come together (which seems impossible to me given how divided we’ve been).
Sometimes God allows us to go through adversities to toughen us up for future battles in life. It’s out of love, it’s tough love, but still love at that.

I believe that JESUS, Son of YHWH is the LORD and although I do not have much to say on this topic, Jesus said: “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.“ Matthew 10:32
I love football, I love the physicality of it, but what I do NOT love is major injuries. Sure knock the wind out of someone, fine, but I do not want to see somebody blow their knee out or have a spinal injury ESPECIALLY when I know that player is a Born Again Christian just like me! So what if he plays for the other team!

False conundrum.

Understandable. They parlayed all those players/picks to win now and now they’re realizing that they can only kick the can down the road for so long. They mortgaged their future to win now. McVay should easily get two more years.

Doesn’t surprise me. He’s probably the most exciting player in the entire NFL to watch.
-
He absolutely deserves this. He’s been a machine all year.

It might just left his spirits to see his teammates be able to go forward and take the field again.
Hopefully he joins them on the field shortly.

I hope Damar plays again, whether this year or next. 💪

3 years ago this week for me, i was involved in gnarly accident. Was struck by a large vehicle, thrown 30 feet, 6-7 surgeries, lost a limb, nasty nasty concussion. I was unconscious for 5 or 6 days.
Obviously different physical traumas, but i would guess the public would be surprised how much a victim like that can remember.
I didnt remember anything about my accident, where i was/how i got hurt or any of my week in the hospital. Slowly with time, i started getting poloroid snapshots of different moments within that week.
Years later i can remember several different clips from that first week. Will be interesting to see him fully recover and maybe get to watch his perception of his accident grow over the years as he tells the story.
I half tried to share my perspective, half needed to vent a little here too. The timing of this so near my anniversary, has made me a little bit more raw this week than in past years. So thanks for that ❤️
God bless you Shredder!

Was it Brett Favre who had a career game the night after his dad died?
Lets bring in mandatory mental health/grief counselors for our coaching staff/players, but giving up on the season is one of the worst possible things we could do.

I don’t care about the outcome of the game at this point. Whether we forfeit, whether we tie, whether this is a healthy scratch and this turns out to be a 16 game season for us with an asterisk next to our name, I do not care.
God bless Damar, that’s all that matters. I do hope we crush the Patriots next week though.

Bills should just forfeit this one.
Onto the Patriots.

Damar Hamlin had everything that leads to a better outcome going for him: Immediate CPR, immediate oxygen administration, immediate use of an AED (automated external defibrillator.
His odds are likely to be even better than the 58% given for more recent 6 years.
No, no. Don't toss around statistics from the land of "Someone Did My Own Research and came up with a Thing" God Bless Us Every One who try to educate ourselves, but the flaw is when you're not in that field, you don't necessarily see all the publications, you aren't able to put the results in context and critically evaluate the big picture.
Thing that scares me is that he’s been in a medically induced coma for almost a full day now.. Anything beyond that point worries me even further.

I think football builds character and it teaches a lot of life lessons. I wouldn’t force my kids to play football, but I wouldn’t say no if they wanted to play either.

What happened to Damar was freakish, this was not a malicious hit, we see these kinds of hits a thousand times a game. Bad luck, wrong place at the wrong time. This type of outcome probably has a fraction of 1% of happening.

I’d rather have an OL that can make any RB look great.
