Glenn at LT with Dawkins at RT was the right move, period. Glenn was a road grader and a good LT for a long time. We essentially replaced him instead of stacking the line. The problem with Buffalo is we just let good guys go, we are the farm team for the NFL. Woods, Watkins, Glenn, Darby and Robey will have long careers elsewhere.

Is Andre Holmes and Zay Jones better? Think for yourself, don't be a yes man. If we made the right decisions we wouldn't be getting pummeled into a bloody pulp. I did like Mahomes, but of course we didn't draft him because we wanted to keep our emasculated and castrated GM for another year. If Andy Reid wants to trade up with you for a QB, it probably means that QB is good. Andy Reid is one of the best, doesn't take a Miss Chloe to see that, I think Stevie Wonder could see that. Why take shots at me? We're both fans of the same team, I see you attack other Bills fans quite regularly, it's a poor reflection of who you are, not me. Robert Woods is good enough to be Jared Goffs #1 WR, don't think Allen could use him? Don't think we could use Sammy Watkins either? Good enough for Andy Reid and the Chiefs. Both good enough for two of the games brightest coaches and their young QBs. I want those guys for our young QB.

All you said is true, but you have to ask yourself why that is? I'm starting to not trust the process anymore. You draft a QB 7 overall and give him WHO? If McDermott really is a guru, he shouldn't need an All Pro at every position to field a good defense. And don't take all our assets away from our offense and put it on defense, that's just selfish. It's not fair to Daboll and it's not fair to Allen. I question Beane and McD's ability to build a TEAM.

15 years ago huh? We were only 5 years removed from being pretty relevant, we're going on 20 years of irrelevance. I wonder if we get moved, this is unsustainable, we are bleeding fans.

The only joy some Bills fans get these days is when they troll other Bills fans, they get some sadistic joy out of it. There are many fans that just don't even watch anymore, boo hoo all you want but you should be praying for a stadium otherwise we will not be in Buffalo in 10 years.

Seems kind of lifeless to me, that's called apathy, real fans should care IMO. Might as well just not watch football at all then. Even when I watch other teams play, I always pick a team to root for, makes it more fun and less robotic! Show some passion teef!!!!

You know for a defensive GURU at HC, he sure did require like 95% of our assets to be put on defense. If McD truly is worth his salt, how about 50/50? We have an alleged guru at HC and DC, they need to do more with less. I've been playing guitar for a decade, some would say I'm very good, I don't need a $3,000 guitar to rip out some tunes, a $100 guitar will do just fine. I question McD's mastery of the defense as some say.

You tell me what he is supposed to do when Andre Holmes is his starting receiver. We have a bunch of 7th round picks and UDFAs starting at WR. We trade Glenn, Cog and Wood retire and who do we replace them with? You can't make Paula Deens baked mac and cheese with ramen noodles. Allen carried us against the Vikings, he flashed superstar ability against a top 10 defense. It isn't his fault Beane is a blue pill **** that has no idea on how to build a team and we apparently have 'defensive guru' at HC and DC yet they require us to spend all our draft picks on defense and literally all our money in free agency on defense! They gutted offense completely, threw out all the food in the cupboard and didn't replace it with anything! SMH.

As good as they are, I felt like offense was severely neglected. When you take a QB #7, you better be damn sure he has weapons around him. Felt like we should have offered Cincinnati someone other than Cordy Glenn. Could of had Mark Andrews and Billy Price too.

I don't know, it's way too early, showed some good things, showed some bad things, I just can't make a long term evaluation on a guy that is still training on the job.

Who knows what they were doing with Whaley there, Beane would have probably loved Mahomes. I blame Terry for that one, but no excuses for surrounding Allen with this roster, absolutely unacceptable, complete bull ****. Could not have put a worse team around him.

I liked Mahomes coming out, he was considered a project, many of the folks here saying 'I told you so' were probably critical of him coming out. Bottom line is we had no GM, keeping Whaley for a year like that was so weird, never seen anything like that before and that's a super fair criticism. I LOVE ALLEN but the talent we've put around him is also an extremely fair criticism.

I'd focus on quick screen passes, plays designed to get the ball out fast. I think they are trying to go vertical a little too much and it's causing Allen to hold on the ball too much. Our line sucks, ball needs to come out fast fast fast, besides, that's the bread and butter in the NFL, stop playing hero.

I know, right? The funny thing is with QBs, they are different from every other position in football, truth is, even average QBs can turn into good ones when they hit 30 and hell they may even play till their 40. QBs like Mahomes and Watson are anomalies, not the standard, you got to give them credit, they're exceptional. Look at QBs like Josh McCown, career backup for 75% of his career, now here he is in his 30s and he's actually a decent QB. Hell, Andy Dalton was OK for years now I think at 30 his best football is still ahead of him. QBs are like fine wine, they get better as they age. Even Bortles and Mariota I'd still say the jury is out on them. Bills fans may not want to hear but it may take awhile before Allen fully develops, fans want it now, but it may take awhile.

First year doesn't count, at all. If this were year 2? Yes, I'd be worried, but game 3? Not even the slightest bit. I believe in 2nd, 3rd and 4th chances if I see an upward trajectory.

Why would you make such a screen name? You have it out for the guy, you aren't treating him fair at all. Would you like it if you weren't given a fairshake at all? We all deserve a fairshake in life, all of us.

Thanks for being a voice of reason, Jared Goff and Carson Wentz, two of arguably the hottest QBs in the league right now did not post crazy numbers as rookies. Allen is going to have to take his lumps, it's a good thing he's out there though, he just has to learn on the job. The physical tools are tremendous though, arm strength, mobility, extremely hard to bring down. He absolutely has no help at all, nobody.
