How much blame does Daboll deserve?

Ok. I say we need to run more often and more effectively. What do you disagree with exactly? -
How much blame does Daboll deserve?
Victory Formation replied to RosenNOTchosen1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He deserves a lot of blame, expecting an extremely raw QB lead an aerial attack is naive. This offense should be predicated on pounding the football with Allen occasionally airing it out to keep defenses honest. Shady is also being completely misused, guy should be used much more strategically than what he has. Murphy and Ivory should be in on 1st and 2nd down, not Shady. You put Shady in within the 20 and crucial 3rd down situations where we need to convert. Also, there is no creativity in run designs, it's like we're still in the preseason. Daboll wants to throw all the time when he should be trying to pound the ball. -
Trade down for sure, then I'd take the best center in the draft. I'd do whatever it takes to build a power run team, plug in the next Nick Mangold prospect and pound the ball. I think Dawkins and Mills have been acceptable, but all three spots inside are dire. A center would give Allen a clean pocket to step up in and hopefully open up some running lanes at the same time. I'd keep Bodine as our backup guy, everyone else on the interior can hit the road.

Woods, Watkins, Hogan and Goodwin
Victory Formation replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Best part about it is, when McD gets fired and we hire a new HC, he's going to come in and cut the players McD drafted on defense. The cycle never ends, we will always be a farm team for the NFL. -
Allen will never develop under Mcdermott

McDermott cannot develop QBs, nor can any coach on the staff. -
Peterman Could Play in Indy

What do you think? How about another defensive coordinator from somewhere? -
Peterman Could Play in Indy

Are you sure? We can always fire McDermott and hire a new coach! And then our new coach can trade away Tredavious White and Micah Hyde because they are not his guys! -

This is incredibly saddening to me. -
Biggest re-do of the offseason
Victory Formation replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cleveland isn't exactly a team I'd try to emulate and Baker Mayfield was about as pro ready as you can get. Tyrod was good for 3,200 yards and 20 TDS while practically never turning the ball over. Tyrod with this defense and we'd be a lock for the playoffs. -

Allen is not ready, yes, I would have sat him down for a couple years. That's just my opinion, you can disagree all you want I really don't care. This was Tyrods team, he ended the drought and McD in my mind screwed him. That's just how I see it. With Tyrod we'd be in the playoffs again this year. Sure he had his faults, but was the alternative better? Was it? -

I would have kept Tyrod, plain and simple. Go ahead and flame away but Tyrod was a hustler, Allen could have learned a lot from him. Tyrod was a good human being and a better QB than Allen at this point. Could have sat Allen down for a few years while Tyrod took us to the playoffs. We had the ideal teacher, Tyrod would have gladly taught Allen and with a smile on his face. -

Atlanta, Indy and Green Bay should be easy wins. -
7 trade targets for the Bills
Victory Formation replied to RyanTalbotBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, Philly may have a player Oakland wants which could make the price tag more feasible for Roseman. I'd go nuts if Cooper was in Buffalo, immediately sign him to 5ys 55 million, someone Allen can grow with. Shady goes back home. -

I'd call up Howie Roseman, I'd say: You guys want Shady? Well we want Amari Cooper. You work out the compensation with Oakland and we'll give you Shady. 3 way trade, we give up no picks. -

I wouldn't go any higher than that. -

I'd easily give up a 2nd for Amari Cooper, I don't think a 3rd would get it done. Sign him right away. -
I agree, TO and Moss could dominate on command, it was freaky. I don't think Beckham can reach that level, he just isn't as gifted physically.

Offensive Strategy Versus the Texans
Victory Formation replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Play to win, don't play not to lose. Go down swinging, play loose, it will completely catch them off guard. Knock them out. -
He's nowhere near as good as TO, although OBJ has had how many 100 reception seasons? I'd absolutely love to have him on this team, I would make it work.

I'm 31, I think many of you here are much older than me. My first Bills game was our 1st Super Bowl, it was like injecting a shot of heroin. Seeing my Dad who was usually angry and pissed off then laughing and singing songs and pretty much seeing my entire family having the time of their lives, it was great man, priceless memories to me. It was a long time ago but it's why I became a Bills fan in the first place, I want the young Bills fans today to get to experience the same euphoria I did as a kid, the 90s was a hell of an introduction to this team for me.

I may be a bit a of a lone-wolf here opinion-wise, but for your sake, I'll check once more.. <rummages around in catch-all drawer in the kitchen> Nope. Don't have a !@#$ to give about what OBJ does on the sidelines.

London Jaguars? Cheerio!
Victory Formation replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the NFL expands, from my perspective it would make sense to expand to countries near you ie Mexico and Canada. Geographically it just makes too much sense, travelwise it would make more sense. People blast Mexico, but there are actually some really nice areas. Crystal blue waters, beaches, beautiful women, extremely cheap cost of living. Even a UDFA making 500k a year would live like a king there. I think it could work. -

I'd support a franchise in Mexico for sure, that could be good clean fun and ease tension between us. London though? How would that work?
