  1. I'm open to moving Dawkins to G and drafting a few Ts at this point. We're in a good position for Jonah Williams with that #1 pick, plug him in at LT.
  2. Historically speaking most veteran QBs have mastered the game in the areas Allen needs help at. I think Allen's issues as a game manager will correct itself over time. It will all even out. The big playmaking mentality that Allen brings though is elite, you have it or you don't. Once again, Allen will grow as a manager, guaranteed. We just got to let Allen grow, he will continue to improve until he's 34 or 35.
  3. Prognosis is good for Darnold and Allen. Both will be above average.
  4. People from space, they do not come from here. They are space people.
  5. I'm still here. Allen makes plays few QBs can make, it's just the routine check down passes he's struggled with. Allen needs to put on some tape of Chad Pennington and just observe him. Get more comfortable on them 5yd throws, play the chess game underneath. Most QBs do OK in this area over time, Allen just needs to put the brunt of his effort here this offseason. A pass catching TE and RB will get his completion % up quite a bit. Some of it is personnel and Allen has done well given the circumstances.
  6. We can get his completion percentage up, he needs a couple pass catching RBs and an OL. Then he'll be 63-65% guaranteed. He makes enough big plays a game, it's just the chess match in the red zone and 10yds underneath the D that he could use to work at in the offseason.
  7. Trade down twice if you can. There's talent in every round.
  8. Need to see a big game out of Zay and hopefully our other WRs can make up the difference so we look like an NFL offense. Hopefully McKenzie plays and Foster gets some action.
  9. Big contract + suspension risk. Would rather us approach RB by committee.
  10. Hunt is a suspension liability that will eventually demand a huge contract.
  11. There is no way you bring Shady back, all of them need to go. We'd be better off signing Yeldon and Coleman and doing it RB by committee. Hell, between cutting Shady and Ivory we'd probably save money by signing Yeldon and Coleman. We'd be a lot younger too.
  12. No thanks. Would much rather sign TJ Yeldon and Tevin Coleman and have a RB by committee approach. Think those two could combine for more than Hunt.
  13. TJ Yeldon was a 2nd round pick a few years ago, career 4ypc guy and is an excellent receiver too. He was behind Fournette on the depth chart, bring him here to be our #1 RB. Shouldn't cost much. Could potentially be a 1,000yd rusher and putting up numbers as a receiver. Perfect guy for our offense.
  14. Brady threw for 5,200 with Gronk and Hernandez. Fant can be our Gronk. Caleb Wilson could easily play the Hernandez role on the field. Tyrell Williams would go up against Zay for that #1 spot. Just another quality NFL target.

  16. He has proven he can make plenty of big plays, what I want to see is Allen be a chess player when he works the 1-10yd throws underneath. If he does that he is a complete QB and no longer a project.
  17. It's actually not a bad idea if you sign a veteran center in free agency (Morse/Paradis). LT: Dawkins C: Morse RT: Jonah W Itd at least be a clean pocket for Allen now.
  18. TJ Yeldon or Tevin Coleman would be nice and wouldn't cost too much. Plug them in at RB and draft 5-6 OL and a couple TEs, have the ability to pound teams. Mitch Morse is the 16th rated center on PFF, that may be where we go with the big money. Cole Beasley and Tavon Austin I'd go after as well, they upgrade us and cost pennies. Go to the draft for our other needs. Yeldon/Coleman combo would be interesting.
  19. Daboll is a Bills fan though correct? This is his dream job. Give him another offseason to tweak and make changes. If Daboll is successful with Allen though then I could see him being a desirable HC candidate. Ultimately Daboll needs to put up numbers for a few years. Build that resume up.

  23. Baker Mayfield is putting up great numbers for a rookie, next year he is probably throwing for 40TDs with less INTS. That's within a margin you'd expect from Brees. You draft QBs #1 overall or #7 overall because you think they can perform at an elite level. Allen will probably put up similar overall yards and total TDs as Mayfield but more of it will be on the ground instead. New guys are taking over man.
  24. Bring him back on a 1yr deal, but draft a young player to put behind him.
