  1. Dion Dawkins and Robert Foster have value. It would take a 1st in my mind for us to let Dawkins go. Average LT, above average G. Foster's value is unclear, maybe he's worth a 2nd, I certainly wouldn't trade him for a 3rd. We got some value on offense, there's a couple guys.
  2. Edmunds has more in common with Manny Lawson and Terrell Suggs than he does with Posluszny and Wagner. Guy is great in coverage, very good actually and I think he has untapped potential as a pass rusher. We need a pass rush, draft or sign a true MLB and send Edmunds after the QB. He actually has so much more value there. Put him in a position where he doesn't have to think so much and he can play faster. I actually think Edmunds is a better prospect than Josh Allen DE/OLB and he's viewed as a top 10 prospect. Edmunds absolutely can be an important cog in our defense and I understand why he was put at MLB and it may be a good thing, he essentially got a crash course on defense, put him outside and he will be all caught up mentally.
  3. Problem is he is only 20 and he is playing the most intellectually demanding position on defense. He's going up against players that are more developed than him both physically and mentally. Maybe in the future he can be a MLB but honestly from a sheer physicality standpoint I don't think his skill set is suited for that spot, he's not instinctive enough. He is not a stuffer, he is better suited in coverage and maybe using his length to come off that edge, he would be a perfect replacement for LORAX.
  4. I don't think he's a bust, not in the slightest, I just think he's out of position. Play him at OLB and in certain scenarios use him as an EDGE. If he can thrive in that role I have no qualms about where we drafted him. He has tremendous value in that role, maybe even more value actually.
  5. He would have to take a 5m pay cut for me to want him back. If Shady makes 4m/yr I'd keep him around, but at this stage he is a #2 at best. He's making too much money.
  6. I never said he was good today, read the entire thread. I said he's been good this season, today he was bad. That's my position.
  7. Who said he's getting paid? He'll get under 5m for sure, probably 4 something. Same for Yeldon. Coleman was #56 on PFF last I checked, Yeldon was right behind him.
  8. You are right, he did not, my bad. He has gotten pretty close though and can easily get you 1k all purpose yards, Yeldon too.
  9. Yeah but Coleman can catch. Yeldon can catch too. Both can get you 1k on the ground, Coleman has done so before.
  10. I want Tevin Coleman and TJ Yeldon in FA, let them share the load. Probably cost 3-4 million less than we're paying now. A two back system is the way to go.
  11. That can change though. Brady is done, Belichick is probably out the door soon so that leaves Josh McDaniels and a Bradyless team versus Josh Allen and Sean McDermott. Allen wont be a rookie forever. No QB in sight for NE in the 2019 draft they're all garbage. Frankly I don't think their situation is as desirable as ours.
  12. Either way, you can find good QBs in the 7th if you draft them enough and to me that's good enough reason to keep drafting ones. Will there ever be another Brady? Maybe not, but if that's the standard we should never draft another QB again. Did they know he'd be that good? No way. But they knew he could be good. That's not luck, that's called being a world class organization and they also nailed that Matt Cassel pick too. That's not luck man.
  13. Not positive about Moon. Either way, if the Bills drafted the next Matt Cassel or Ryan Fitzpatrick in the 6th round that's fantastic. Anything more than that and you are going to really set your team up in a big big way. Bills should draft one every year until we strike gold.
  14. My point is they knew he could be good and they drafted him. Is that really luck? Pretty sure there are several UDFA QBs that were HOF QBs, obviously it's not common but there are droves of good QBs and serviceable ones underneath that upper echelon and the success rate is higher than .10%.
  15. It's not impossible though, it happens occasionally and if you draft them enough you will eventually find a Brady or a Cassel or a Warner. Will you find another Brady? Maybe not, but could we find a Cassel/Fitzpatrick type of QB in the 7th? Absolutely.
  16. It's not luck that they ended up with Brady, they had Bledsoe at the time and even though they had an excellent QB they continued to draft guys deep in the draft. They did it again with Cassel. That's not luck, there's a pattern. Buffalo should draft a guy in the 6th or 7th if they're smart. Sit him on the bench and keep the pipeline loaded.
  17. He goes up against 1s and 2s, but should be going up against 2s and 3s. Zay lined up on both sides IIRC. I did see him line up on the left and right, either way his production is not terrible. Foster will probably blow away Zay but I like both of them a lot. If we can draft a top WR I think we are in damn good shape. Zay, Foster and McKenzie all need to get bumped down on the depth chart one spot and we are in fantastic shape at WR. It's really not as bad as ppl think.
  18. He is out of position, that's all. We expect him to be something he's not. I'm guilty of it too. He'll probably finish with 50 catches and that's against opposing teams #1 CB. What can he do against the Levi Wallace's of the world? I wonder.
  19. Well I think back to his 2 TD game, which in all actuality should have been 3 TDs and then I see him get wide open again for another TD today and I think he has shown flashes of great ability and I think he can absolutely be a big redzone threat to. He has nice feet and body control, it all just needs to come together for him and I think much of his productivity or lack thereof is because of instability at QB. Allen will be good but he's a rookie and before that he had Tyrod. To me, I just need to see more. I'm not ready to give up on Zay yet, I think the juice is worth the squeeze.
  20. Milano is out and I think Edmunds is playing out of position. That right there makes Star look bad. If anybody needs to go it's Trent Murphy, he is making just as much as Star. Also, Meatball is getting old and Harry is nothing more than a rotational player at this point. This DL needs Jadeveon Clowney and Ed Oliver, leave Star alone and bring Jerry Hughes back. Replace the weakest links first.
  21. He can be a good player. I'm obviously a fan of Zay Jones. He'll be alright. He's a good guy to have around. Can he be a #1? Probably not. I was wrong to think so in the past, but he could probably do good as a #2. We just need an elite WR, that of which we have zero of right now.
  22. Edmunds should be our SLB/situational pass rusher. Need a MLB.
  23. Well, he is not the weakest link. Any player that comes here will expect more money, virtually every FA we sign will be overpaid until Allen arrives. Same thing will happen this offseason too.
  24. I watch every single Bills just about, I missed a few when Allen went down because I'm not watching Derek Anderson sorry. But every game I've watched Star has been good. It's that other spot next to him that needs an upgrade. Ed Oliver anyone? Or how about Quinnen Williams? How about a MLB? Edmunds should be an OLB, he doesn't have the instincts to play inside. I think what happened today is a combination of Edmunds and Milano being injured rather than Star being bad.
  25. This should be his last year, but they should make a run. Their run game is phenomenal, their defense is very good. They got a shot but dear God I hope Brady comes back another year, it would be great to watch him deteriorating.
