  1. We are 100% on the same page. I don't think Edmunds is a bad player though, just out of position. Wouldn't mind that kid from LSU with that 1st pick.
  2. I think we can take him. Bring it on.
  3. That's what he's been doing, sitting back and reacting instead of shooting gaps, blitzing and rushing the QB. He is so fast that he can glide past tackles, he just needs to work on his moves. Guy is 6'5 255-260 that's not really what you want in a MLB and he's still growing. He would be an All Pro as a 3-4 OLB. Edmunds should be moved all over the field, he is way more valuable to us in that capacity.
  4. He's an EDGE/DE/OLB in my mind and I think he can be a good one. A good MLB? No. But I think he can be a force of nature, he is not being utilized correctly. Why they are not blitzing him more often I have no clue because I can think of a few really good plays Edmunds made when they let him attack instead of react.
  5. I mean, I agree with you and all and you're absolutely right to be troubled about MLB, I am too. Brown though won't fix our problem though bud.
  6. I agree. Ford seems to have been able to produce ok for such a lowly touted player, maybe it's not ALL of the OLs fault. Anderson would have definitely been an upgrade. They should have just cut Ivory and Shady and rolled with Anderson, Ford and Murphy. We may be minorities buddy but I'm with you.
  7. Nah. I'm very much in touch with reality, Bills need an elite #1 and we're in very good shape. We do need a real TE though, Croom can be a solid #2 but I think Albert O or Caleb Wilson in RDS 2-3 would benefit us greatly.
  8. It's amazing what Robert Foster has done. An UDFA that goes to an NFL team and essentially becomes the #1. I mean you really have to hand it to the guy, he really worked hard. He is our best receiver and this is coming from a Zay Jones loyalist. He earned my respect this year, doubt he is our #1 next year but he'd be damn good at that #2 spot with Zay in the slot and with McKenzie as our #4. Definitely need a true #1 though. All of our receivers need to get bumped down a spot, we're missing just one more guy.
  9. He wanted to go to NE and beat up on us, he was also asking for a fortune, wasn't a good player and is coming off a major injury. Why oh why do you want him? After everything, why?
  10. He's a turncoat. No interest in signing someone who sleeps with my enemies.
  11. Yep. No way in hell I want him back if I'm Terry.
  12. I'm ok with Stanford as a backup. Need to draft somebody, it's definitely a glaring weakness. I think Brown would provide a false sense of security, he is a backup in this league.
  13. I don't remember it word for word but he essentially said he'd rather play for the Patriots. Only problem is he wasn't good enough to crack their roster. Brown is a big slow LB coming off a knee injury, no thx. I'm definitely onboard with drafting one very high though.
  14. Actually McD is getting paid well, Terry Pegula is a goddamn Saint as far as I'm concerned.
  15. He burned his bridges down on the way out.
  16. He is an average DT, but a very smart player who occasionally makes some clutch plays. He has no business being a starter though.
  17. Agree. He's too young to be at MLB, intellectually he cannot handle it and I question his build for that position. He's built like a 3-4 OLB, not a MLB. He is way out of position. They need to let him stick his hand in the ground attack, blitz, shoot gaps and cover these big ass TEs you see in the NFL today.
  18. I disagree. Defense is missing a few pieces and for the most part we've been good. We need one of these DTs coming out, we need a corner and we need a true MLB. If our offense could actually put up some points and force teams to throw on us more I like our chances with Hyde, Poyer and White.
  19. Like you said, plug him in at DE in obvious passing situations and bump him outside in 3 LB sets, move him all over. Hughes and Edmunds coming off the edge on 3rd down will get QBs killed.
  20. I'm right there with ya. I think the key is to simplify Edmunds' responsibilities, make his job as straight forward as possible. He is not a MLB, it's just not who he is. He'd probably be a vast upgrade over Lorax though.
  21. How do you like Edmunds as an EDGE? Do you think he can take over for Lorax? If he could just add another 10lbs he could be a nightmare for QBs. This is just speculation of course. Do you think he is simply out of position? Where do you think he should line up?
  22. I'm not so sure about that, maybe he has good hands but he's too slow at this point to make an impact as a receiver. Perhaps I'm projecting my desires on what I think should happen instead of what in all actuality will happen, I don't know. Because he is making elite RB money when he is barely a #2 if you can even call him that. Either way, he is either not a fit in this offense or he will be out of the league in 2 years, it's hard to say. Regardless, it's time to move on. We can sign two solid RBs with that salary.
  23. Foster is Allen's favorite target and could ultimately develop into an electrifying #2, it would take a 2nd for me. Too much potential to dump for a measly 5th round pick, get out of here lol. Dawkins needs to go inside and I think if that were to happen fans would be a lot more supportive. He has value as a LG.
  24. Foster is averaging over 20 per catch, a 3rd wouldn't get it done for me. Dawkins otoh is a starting LT and probably an above average LG. A 2nd wouldn't do it for me.
  25. Dion Dawkins and Robert Foster have value. It would take a 1st in my mind for us to let Dawkins go. Average LT, above average G. Foster's value is unclear, maybe he's worth a 2nd, I certainly wouldn't trade him for a 3rd. We got some value on offense, there's a couple guys.
