It's really not. Brett Favre was on TMZ pushing for Green Bay to hire him. Daboll is going to increasingly become a hot name going forward, things are just starting to heat up. If McD falls on his face, our defense sucks and we miss the playoffs in 2019 despite continuous growth from Allen, would it be so crazy then? Would it be crazy to keep Allen in the same system? Or is it crazy to hire a Buffalo native to coach the Bills? Guess I'm crazy then. Daboll will not get a HC job in 2019, but if Allen has a big year he is going to be a red hot candidate.

2019 Mock Drafts and top prospects

Metcalf I could live with under the right scenario. Would prefer a trade down and then take Metcalf ideally. I'm hoping we lose against Miami and Allen has a huge game in the process. If we pick #4 maybe some team will come up for Herbert. -

I don't believe in the 3 year plan happening in '19

Depends. Our defense started out really strong and gradually we have fallen apart. After all the resources spent there I feel like we should have gotten more for our money. If Daboll/Allen continue to grow with each other I could see McD eventually getting ***** canned and Daboll takes over. Defense better play elite football next year and we better make the playoffs otherwise cya later. Daboll is a hot name around the league, hopefully he stays on another year and we can groom him for that potential HC vacancy. -

I've judged all these people already. I wanted to fire McD after all those blowout losses when Allen was struggling, but then Allen came back and looked great and I realized I really jumped the gun on that one. By all means, say what you think, please do. If the facts are on your side you'll win every argument. If you jump the gun like me though you can look idiotic, which is why I try to judge objectively and patiently. -
Bills offensive talent trade value.

You're right, that's absolutely what I'm doing. The few good players we have around Allen I value highly.. As it should be. I wouldn't sell my stocks prematurely if I felt the value was likely to climb even higher. -

Report: Jets to pursue Jim Harbaugh for HC

I think we can take him. Bring it on. -
That's what he's been doing, sitting back and reacting instead of shooting gaps, blitzing and rushing the QB. He is so fast that he can glide past tackles, he just needs to work on his moves. Guy is 6'5 255-260 that's not really what you want in a MLB and he's still growing. He would be an All Pro as a 3-4 OLB. Edmunds should be moved all over the field, he is way more valuable to us in that capacity.

He's an EDGE/DE/OLB in my mind and I think he can be a good one. A good MLB? No. But I think he can be a force of nature, he is not being utilized correctly. Why they are not blitzing him more often I have no clue because I can think of a few really good plays Edmunds made when they let him attack instead of react.

All the Carolina signings, why did they not sign C.J.?
Victory Formation replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. Ford seems to have been able to produce ok for such a lowly touted player, maybe it's not ALL of the OLs fault. Anderson would have definitely been an upgrade. They should have just cut Ivory and Shady and rolled with Anderson, Ford and Murphy. We may be minorities buddy but I'm with you. -
It's amazing what Robert Foster has done. An UDFA that goes to an NFL team and essentially becomes the #1. I mean you really have to hand it to the guy, he really worked hard. He is our best receiver and this is coming from a Zay Jones loyalist. He earned my respect this year, doubt he is our #1 next year but he'd be damn good at that #2 spot with Zay in the slot and with McKenzie as our #4. Definitely need a true #1 though. All of our receivers need to get bumped down a spot, we're missing just one more guy.
