  1. So it looks like The Board is right, at least when it comes to Daniel Jeremiah’s pov when it comes to whom the Bills should draft at 27

DJ’s team fits for draft prospects: star WR for Bills

A home playoff loss where the Bills mustered just 10 points in the Divisional Round was a bitter end to a season that began with Super Bowl expectations. The disappointing result could nudge Buffalo into getting another weapon for Josh Allen in the first round. Jeremiah sees Ohio State's Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Boston College's Zay Flowers as two wide receiver fits for the Bills at No. 27 overall.

"Smith-Njigba would probably be one that I would think would be a nice complement there," Jeremiah said. "If you're looking for somebody who can do some of that in the middle of the field, he gives you that. Gabe (Davis) can play more over the top and (Stefon) Diggs kind of does everything. That would be one I would think that would be a really good fit there as a really good player. I love Zay Flowers. I know he's not the biggest guy in the world at a little over 5-9, 182 pounds, but he's a clone to T.Y. Hilton."

Jeremiah also sees an opportunity for Buffalo to add to its interior offensive line, with Florida's O'Cyrus Torrence being a potential candidate late in Round 1.

Just had a bad thought that I’d like to forget.  First, let me say that I’m the most optimistic dude about the Bills and life.  I even thought the Losman Bills could win the Super Bowl.  My bad thought is the Bills might not make the playoffs next year.  It’s happened to other great teams.  I mean we might lose Maine, Poyer, Motor, White, and now even Diggs.  Can someone please relieve my troubled mind.

I like this post because you’re quite the contrarian. The world isn’t all butterflies and rainbows. Consider the eye rolls a badge of honor.

If he is there at 27 he absolutely should be considered depending on the board. You shouldn't pass up a talent like that. He probably would be the BPA by a landslide. I would live the pick. With that said I'd be shocked if there there when Bflo picks.

Can he catch the ball though? That’s my main question. In order to be a three down back, you have to be able to hack it in the passing game.

I went with Addison; just think he's the best of all those WRs. Was tempted by the OLine guys as well.

I kind of feel like Addison and JSN will be gone although I admit that there is a reasonable chance that they’re there.

I went with Jalin Hyatt. I love Flowers too but he is undersized and that worries me. Could be the next Tyreke Hill or he could be a total bust. Hyatt has nice size and elite speed and wonderful production last year. Ultimately though I’d roll the dice on either.

I don’t know who will be there, so by this list I chose JSN even though he likely won’t be there.

Was tempted to pick Torrence though, and that might be the better pick with how many good WRs are options on this poll.

If we could somehow snag Torrence at 27 and then Flowers in the second round, then I would see that as a big win.

Those are all good choices, but as far as JSN is concerned, I don’t think it’s too far fetched to think that he could be there. Weirder things have happened. It’s not like your mocking a top 5 talent to be there, although the talent differential between a top 5 player and a top 25-30 player isn’t as linear as some may think. It’s a lot more abstract given time I think.

  6. DISCLAIMER: I simply listed the top 5 players from Bucky Brook’s mock and PFF’s Big Board. If you feel “X” player WILL NOT be available, please do not cast a vote for that player.

NOTE: This is an offensive player only draft and if you want to draft a defensive player, your opinion is void anyhow because I don’t want to hear it.

If your choice isn’t on the list, please say who and a list a few reasons why (so long as that player is not a defensive player, in which point I refer you back to the disclaimer above.)

To those who say that this is too early because Free Agency has not hit, I would argue that it’s important to know where the draft is deep at before we spend money in FA.

Curious to see what his 40 and 3 cone are timed at…From his highlights, he doesn’t appear overly fast to the naked eye, and I’m not sure he has the elite twitch I’m looking for…

You want to know who Addison reminds me of? Diggs. But let me throw one more name out there, if Addison is gone, give me Jalin Hyatt. I am very okay with either of these guys if they’re there.

Alright, hear me out.  Brandon Beane has proven that he can’t consistently hit on 1st/2nd round picks.  Let’s be honest.  We are going to have a lot of holes to fill after the FA bloodbath.

Since Beane tends to hit on mid-late round prospects, let’s trade out of the 1st and 2nd round altogether.  Accumulate as many 3rd-5th round picks as possible.  Thanks for reading.

Let me know what you think in the comments.  Like and subscribe.

We’ll probably draft a safety or an undersized LB in RD1.

To acquire extra picks the Bills should be looking to trade out of the 1st. Take what you can get but should be able to get a couple extra picks.

Last year for 27 Tampa got 2nd pick 33, 4th pick 106, and 6th pick 180. I would take that extra 4th and 6th for moving down a few spots.

Oh, absolutely, this would be amazing.

Sure, he had a system. He also found a lot of diamonds in the rough in UDFA or cast-offs from other teams.

But he still sucked at drafting lol.

BB drafted 2 Pro-Bowlers in the last 9 years. We drafted 2 ProBowlers in 2018. If Beane goes another 4 without a single Pro-Bowler, he needs to go lol.

Who would you rather be the QB of your defense? Tedy Bruschi or Tremaine Edmunds? Edmunds made 2 Pro Bowls in the last 5 years and Bruschi only made 1 in his entire career.

    See what I mean?

    He's bad at drafting.

In respects to his drafting.. Belichick always went after smart and instinctive players rather than physical freaks. Tedy Bruschi, Mike Vrabel, Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Wes Welker etc. (I know not all of these guys were drafted by him, but it still shows you his blueprint nonetheless)

He placed more value on having a smart team rather than one full of All Stars. Of course he did have those guys too (Ty Law, Lawyer Milloy, Gronk etc) but once again, he valued smarts and instincts more than anything.
