While what you said may be true, giving Keon a mentor who has been there and done that will only help him. Sure they’re not carbon copies of one another but do keep in mind that some things are universal and will translate to Keon’s game.
Hopefully Amari sticks. He’s only 30 years old, he may have a few more years at a high level. It would be great if we could extend him to a cap friendly contract long term.. Same goes for Rasul Douglas who we also traded a 3rd for..
I wouldn’t let those refs officiate a high school game. That was the worst officiating that I’ve ever seen in my entire life. All of them should be fired, it seemed like they were unfairly trying to change the outcome of the game. The NFL should be embarrassed, especially since it was on MNF for the whole world to see. Terrible.
I’m actually quite satisfied with the development of Rapp. He was all over the field against the Jets. And I think that given time, Cole Bishop will be a good starter as well. And Hamlin is great depth at the very least. Give it time.
Our top 3 WRs have been Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman and then ……wait for it….. Curtis Samuel with 12 catches for 92 yards. If anything Samuel get fewer snaps.
You’ll likely see Cooper and Coleman on the perimeter and Shakir/Samuel getting snaps in the slot. Both these guys will rotate on the outside behind Cooper and Coleman when they need air.
And I do think Cooper will play vs the Titans.. There will be design plays for him at the absolute minimum and I’m sure they’ll work him in gradually over the next few weeks and I’m positive that Josh can help him with the terminology if he needs it.
This is a great move for Buffalo. We finally have a true Batman in our WR room. And I think for a 3rd this is a highway robbery, especially if Cooper stays on for a few years after this season.
Even if Cooper is just a “Good” X WR, like top 12-14 overall this trade is a huge success.. We have a young roster so it makes sense to sprinkle in a few vets at this point.. This will take pressure off of Shakir, Kincaid, Keon and Samuel as well.
Oh, absolutely and I love the guy. McD is a great coach, just not the coach we need leading this football team and it breaks my heart to say it because I’ve been behind him for 8 years now.
