11-5 sounds so much better than 10-6
Victory Formation replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There’s nothing more disrespectful than beating a team with your backups. Hopefully Josh gets a quarter and Barkley comes in and lays a massive shalacking on the Jets. That way they just know that this is Buffalo’s division next year and beyond. Send a message. -
I seen youse is tanking

I think our backups wreck the Jets.

Donald next Oliver would be disgusting but we’d have to give up multiple picks including a first. Ultimately I think the smart move is to re-sign Jordan Phillips to an incentive based deal. I’m not ready to back up the Brinks truck for Phillips, it has to be incentive based with certain guidelines that could trigger escalators in the contract that would pay out more money. It’s paramount to remember that hey, we have Oliver. DT isn’t a position I’d like a lot of money locked up in.

I understand both sides. On one hand you don’t want a key player to get injured but on the other hand you may want continuity and momentum going into the playoffs. I air on the side of the latter. You try n get the offense going and the engine greased up for the playoffs n nobody said for how long our starters are playing for. We need that experience but it’s exciting that we are even talking about this.

I think over the top fandom is stupid
Victory Formation replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually I predicted 11-5 before the season and so far I’m looking good. I also accurately guessed Saturday’s score only to be met with a meh emoji. We’re a good team but all I want from the message board is objective discussions. We have such a smart fan base WAY above average, I just want us to stay grounded and let go of the dumb jock buffoonery and jock sniffing antics. I like the team building part of football the best and part of that includes less than favorable views of certain players. Whether fans like it or not, we DO have holes to fill. If not, we might as well skip the draft and free agency. -
I get it, we’re all Bills fans here. I love Buffalo and I love the Bills. We’re a team on the rise. Frankly it would not surprise me at all if we win the division next year and go on a Super Bowl run, but frankly, if you’re such a fan that you cannot objectively view the team and the players on the team and have a rational discussion, maybe you should kind of come back to Earth a little bit. Seems like every post here that isn’t rosy and peachy gets dragged through the mud. Can we stop the jock sniffing and have honest, decent, constructive discussions like adults? We have quite a few holes on this team, frankly I think our coaching staff is the reason why we’re 10-5. We have lots of system players. RE, LE, WR, RT, G, K, P, LB are all need areas. We’re not some ethereal juggernaut. We’re a young albeit talented team that is on the uppity up, but let’s get real and stop with the North Korean propaganda antics that are going on here. We’re missing a few pieces still. I love the Bills but the over the top fandom is ***** obnoxious.

Matt Milano saturday night
Victory Formation replied to dbfla10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can you please look at things objectively? Dude, I’m a Bills fan, not a troll. Just because I’m not gushing over every Bills player like a schoolgirl doesn’t make me any less of a fan than you. Our defense is good because of coaching, not the players. Milano is a product of the system, I would not pay him big money. We have a few nice pieces like Tre White, Edmunds, Poyer and Hyde but outside of that nuclei there’s a huge talent drop. Oliver will likely be added to that group but he’s a rook. We’re a couple pieces short for a Super Bowl run. -
Matt Milano saturday night
Victory Formation replied to dbfla10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure seems like it. Don’t ask me to gush over every Bills player. Outside of Edmunds I think we’re really weak there. Our defense is good because of coaching, not the players. Our secondary overall is fantastic but that front seven needs a facelift. I think our defense is outplaying their talent level, Bills still have lots of holes. We need another good offseason before we’re serious contenders. -
Matt Milano saturday night
Victory Formation replied to dbfla10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think our LBs are talented albeit a bit raw. I wouldn’t pay Milano elite money under any circumstances though. Milano is smart, but slow and undersized. Definitely a bit overrated. I’m underwhelmed by our LBs. Edmunds will be great but as for the rest of em, I couldn’t careless. -
If you could swap QBs with any team right now
Victory Formation replied to Max Fischer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s kind of a tough sell. Allen is an average QB right now but flashes the ability of a guy who can win 4 Super Bowls. He loves Buffalo and is a pleasure to watch, I wouldn’t trade him for any one. Keep grooming the young buck. He’s a stallion that needs to be broken in. Long live Rocket Man! -
What to do at DE next year
Victory Formation replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ultimately we’ll know more after free agency. Need DE, WR, RT, CB, LB, K and P. We’ll see what they do. This is a great year for DE and WR so I hope we fill RT, CB and LB in free agency. Could see us using a few low round picks on K and P. At least that’s how I hope it plays out. RD1: Laviska Shenault, WR RD2: Kenny Willekes, DE RD3: Stephen Guidry, WR Go corner, OL and LB in free agency. -
Oh, yeah? Allen? How about a 20 to 9 TD:INT ratio. He’s young. Can’t find a franchise QB in free agency, we got to develop one. Suck it up, buttercup. Allen has a golden arm.

The Bills loss can be summed up in two words...
Victory Formation replied to folz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Poor tackling and TOP. Got to control the clock better. All in all, I think the Bills have the better team except the Patriots have more polish. Ultimately I see the Bills as a team that’s ascending while the Patriots are a team that’s descending. We have a FO and coaching staff that is built to go another 15 years while Brady and Belichick are circling the drain of retirement. I wanted a win here but maybe next year. We need another good draft and offseason. Ultimately I really like Beane and McDermott a lot. Allen is ultra talented just needs some polish. I think our OL could use a couple upgrades too. Good game though. Not deterred, GO BILLS! -
20 points is the key to victory tomorrow
Victory Formation replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Knox, Kroft, Singletary and Beasley all need to have big games. Brown will likely get shut down. Should be a low scoring game. Did Allen learn from the last time? -
The Bills should re-sign Shaq and J. Phillips
Victory Formation replied to TPS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’d definitely re-sign Shaq and Jordan Phillips if the money is right. With that said we have to keep in mind that Von Miller, Bud Dupree and Matthew Judon are free agents as well and that’s just off the top of my head. Shaq and Phillips are one year wonders, if they want top dollar I think you go elsewhere with that money. It has to be an incentive based contract and honestly, would you rather have Von Miller or Matthew Judon or Bud Dupree with that money? Keep in mind that we drafted Oliver #9 overall to play Phillips’ position. Hard decision although I think I’m getting cold feet. -
Kenny Willekes, DE, Michigan State
Victory Formation replied to Victory Formation's topic in College Football
Yetur Gross Matos looks like the pick of the litter, but I doubt he falls to us at the bottom of the first. He’s going to be an absolute monster. Kenny Willekes, Marlon Davidson or Stephen Guidry would be my top three for that 2nd round pick. One of them should be there. I’d prefer Matos RD1 and Guidry RD2. Either way, it’s still really really early but I’m doing a little bit of scouting in my spare time. Nice draft for WR and DE - our biggest needs. Looking good for us. I could see a trade up or a trade down. I’d prefer a trade down but if Matos slides, it’d be smart to go up and get him. -
Kenny Willekes, DE, Michigan State
Victory Formation replied to Victory Formation's topic in College Football
I think he would take over for Jerry Hughes sooner rather than later. Seems like he’d be a nightmare on that right side. If you lined him up with Shaq Lawson and if we add somebody like Bud Dupree in free agency, all of a sudden we have ourselves a very good pass rush. -
Tre White Funniest Moments Video ?
Victory Formation replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Except I don’t think he’ll be overpaid. He’s the best CB in the NFL. I’d much rather have Tre than Jalen Ramsey. He is by far our best player. Tre is the tippy top best player on an elite defense. Tre essentially shuts down everybody, he’s ridiculous. -
Bills better be scouting “hands catchers” at WR
Victory Formation replied to whorlnut's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Another guy I like is Stephen Guidry out of Mississippi State. Would be a great pick RD2 in case we decide to go OL or defense RD1. He’s 6’3 with plenty of speed, great jump ball receiver. Reminds me of Josh Gordon. -
Any thoughts on him? He’s projected as a 2nd-3rd round pick. This guy has a quick first step and lots of power for his size. He was a walk on at Michigan State, but has earned a starting spot. Could this guy be a possible addition with that 2nd round pick? He is 6’4 260lbs and frankly I think he could add an extra 10-15lbs to his frame. If we re-sign Shaq, Willekes could be a nice talent we could bring a long behind Jerry Hughes.
-
Gross Matos is sick. I’d love it, he would be my first choice but he won’t be there. A guy I like a lot is Kenny Willekes from Michigan State. May or may not be there in RD2. For now I think we should be hoping for a blue chip WR there at the bottom of RD1. Jalen Reagor reminds me a lot of Lee Evans.
