Will COVID19 Impact the 2020 Season?

That’s a solid point. Wish I would have thought of that. -
Will COVID19 Impact the 2020 Season?
Victory Formation replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you look at China, they’ve only had like 40 new cases in the last 3 days, it’s really slowing down over there. Lots of countries like Germany and the USA are doing a good job for the most part. New York is the biggest problem but by n large it’s slowing down. Underdeveloped countries will suffer the most casualties. Developed countries may lose a few thousand, underdeveloped countries will suffer 5 or 6 times more. -
Next years starters - only getting better

Anything less than a Super Bowl run is disappointing. This roster is good enough to get us to the big game and we haven’t even had the draft yet. Beane and McD have done an A+++++ job in their 3 years here, they’ve completely gutted this team and rebuilt it into a powerhouse. We’re good in cap space, we added some quality free agents and there’s plenty left to sign our own. Stefon Diggs will give us a top 10 offense and we already had a top 5 D last year. We have a 2 year window to bring home a Lombardi, after that Allen is probably getting $30M a year and keeping everything together without going into cap hell gets trickier. Anything less than a Super Bowl is disappointing. I’d put our roster up against anybody’s. Give me a star RB RD2, a #2 CB RD3 and put the rest into our OL. This is our year. -

This roster is loaded with talent. Beane really overloaded this team with lots of good players. Only holes I see are RG, RT and backup RB. Even those positions it’s not like omg the sky is falling. Buffalo should win the AFC East and I could possibly see a Super Bowl run in play if Josh Allen takes a step forward. This is a 12 win team. Once again, even our weak areas have talented players that can perform if need be. We will go as far as Allen takes us. -
Dion Dawkins: LT/RT or Guard???
Victory Formation replied to r henderson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think if Dawkins was a free agent this year he’d be looking at $14M AAV, maybe more. Replacing him would be a tall order and I see no reason to create a hole where there need not be one. He is not the weak link on this OL. Weak link is RT and perhaps RG. Feliciano and Ford should be replaced before Dawkins. Dawkins gave Allen good protection last year. -

I think Dawkins is an above average LT with room to grow. He’s certainly not elite but he’s good enough to be a quality starter. -

That would be our 3rd and 4th pick. Our 2nd would go towards Prince Tega Wanogho, T, Auburn. A lengthy RT we can line up on the right side to protect Josh Allen and bump Cody Ford into RG. Nsekhe backs up PTW and Dion Dawkins. He’s a really solid OL prospect. -

I took Taylor, Dobbins and CEH off the board to see what the draft would look like without them. 54: R2P22 OT PRINCE TEGA WANOGHO AUBURN 86: R3P22 EDGE KENNY WILLEKES MICHIGAN STATE 128: R4P22 EDGE ALTON ROBINSON SYRACUSE 155: R5P9 RB ZACK MOSS UTAH 188: R6P9 RB/WR ANTONIO GIBSON MEMPHIS 207: R6P28 WR QUEZ WATKINS SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI 239: R7P25 LB FRANCIS BERNARD UTAH -

Further Offensive Improvement
Victory Formation replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’d love to see Isaiah McKenzie signed to a 1 year deal at vet minimum. Could also see a guy like Quez Watkins tearing ***** up in the fourth round. 6’0 185 4.35 40, played for a small school, could be a diamond in the rough. That’d be a great way to round out that WR room. I also think a bell cow RB like Jonathan Taylor or JK Dobbins could take some serious pressure off of Josh Allen. I’m not convinced that Allen can carry an offense on his arm alone yet, he needs a strong running attack behind him and a good defense. Wouldn’t mind a true RT to the mix to groom behind Nsekhe, Ford goes in to RG. Plenty of room for improvement. -
Its good but I think we can improve a great deal. Curtis Weaver, Kenny Willekes or Alton Robinson would be sick to bring along behind this rotation. I think we need a young oxen to bring along behind Addison and Hughes. Ideally you’d want someone to replace Murphy. Also Hughes has only 1 year left on his deal but he could get re-signed. I’d love Weaver in the second, Willekes in the third and Robinson in the fourth. In an ideal world we double up on EDGE. A great pass rush is everything.

Burrow and Tua are more polished for sure, but neither of them boast the arm strength or athleticism of Allen. Herbert may be this year’s Josh Allen, big, strong, nice arm but still not as powerful as Allen’s. Burrow I think compares to Sam Darnold. Smart QB, polished comes from an illustrious program but I think he ultimately will not be good enough to lift that Bengals team up on his shoulders. I think Burrow will have a disappointing career in Cincinnati. The Bengals are a team that’s not committed to winning. They won’t surround Burrow with the pieces he needs to be successful. He’ll probably end up with a career similar to Carson Palmer’s. Tua is a mystery at this point. Brutal hip injury but apparently it’s 100% healed up and ready to go. He has great touch on his passes and I think it’d be wise for the Redskins to draft him at 2. He’s been compared to Russell Wilson but his injury issues have bumped him down a few spots. So all in all, where would Allen go in this draft? I think I’d put him above Tua and Herbert but I’d probably have him below Burrow. Burrow’s problem is not his talent or skill set but rather the franchise he’s playing for.
