I don’t think Morse is as bad at run blocking as people think he is... I think our guards are that bad.. Run blocking really depends on all 5 guys doing their jobs and right now we only have 3/5 on the line who are executing the way they’re supposed to.. Thankfully those three are our LT, C & RT which is giving Allen a nice pocket to step into and lots of time to go through his reads... Ford has been a total disaster though.. I expected a lot more from him... Both LG & RG need to be upgraded big time if we want to have success pounding the ball... And once again, if or when that happens I think Morse will be just fine as a run blocker..

My friend, my friend! We passed on a top 3 QB only to land another top 3 QB a year later.. that does not happen every day! Had the Browns not taken Mayfield and Ward or the Broncos not taken Chubb or the Jets not taken Darnold or the Giants not taken Saquan Barkley, Josh Allen would not be the Bills starting QB! We didn’t get lucky..... We got ultra lucky!

Umm.. I think we got ultra lucky.. I wanted Mahomes when he came out.. People questioned his mechanics, the system he played in and the level of competition he went up against just like Josh Allen.. in hindsight, I feel we got really lucky.

Yes, there were signs... but not like this. I’ve been Pro-Allen since months before the draft...but what he’s done has clearly exceeded all my expectations. I had no idea he’d be this good...even though I knew indeed that he would be good... but not MVP talk good.. think even his biggest fans are shocked on some level..

His pass blocking has been very good.. not the best at run blocking but with a few upgrades at guard, who knows?

It’s okay to be wrong... it’s not okay to dig your heels in after you realize you’re wrong..

Then the Jets would hire Vrabel and he’d break the protocol again and then the Jets would be forced to fire Vrabel and hire Rex Ryan again.

This is completely unnecessary.. I read other teams forum every here and there just to get a feel for the other team... Let’s not act like idiots here..

Truth is... Darnold is actually a good QB... Gase is just a terrible coach.. Question is, can Darnold rebound with a better coaching staff or is he ruined?

That’s just the way it goes.. I was pro Allen since months before he was drafted... I hate to say “i told you so!” but in all fairness I was pretty darn sure that Lamar Jackson would suck so what do I know? I know jack diddly.. 99% of fans are in the same boat as me.. I’m just okay with admitting it..

Corona has a 2 day incubation period..

Should be a win.. not a dominant win.. but we barely sneak by with a win sort of win...

Brett Favre is one of my favorite QBs of all time.. right up there with Jim.. Funny for him to say that, Allen is quite a bit like Brett in terms of arm strength and mentality.. very cool! 😃👍

Patriots will probably get 10 wins... Buffalo needs 11+ to comfortably win the division...i think we can..

No.. too injury prone.. Texans will want too much and JJ will want too much..

No way Daboll is here next year.. I am hoping that there is a good replacement who can keep the system the same for Josh..

I mean, the fact that Daboll coached under Belichick and Saban makes him attractive enough.. then you factor in that he turned Josh Allen into a top 5 QB who I think we can all widely agree was an extremely raw prospect coming out.. yeah his resume at this point is very impressive.. he is over qualified to be a HC at this point.. went from being on the hot seat to being a very attractive head coaching candidate.. I hope he gets a good job, I hope it’s out of the division and I hope he’s successful and I hope Beane/McD have somebody great lined up to take over.. if we get a crappy replacement it could really hurt Josh Allen and this Bills offense..

I’m leaning towards this.. Darnold would be 2-2 maaaaybe 3-1... Allen would be 0-4.

I think Ford has huge potential at guard.. hope you’re right..

Fair enough.. it’s more of the “I’m going to run over this LB and leapfrog this safety” kind of plays that worry me.. Save those type of runs for playoff games and vital moments.. Scrambling East to West and dropping a dime 50 yards down the field though is fantastic.. more of that please!

There is no doubt in my mind that Dawkins, Morse and Williams have been doing a fantastic job in terms of pass protection.. For the most part Allen has a nice little pocket to throw in.. Both guard spots worry me though.. Ford could develop into a good guard, there is a chance there indeed.. but 4 weeks into the season and I’m not impressed at all with our guards.. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t click for them later on, it’s just an observation ive had thus far.. so far guard has been our Achilles heel on that OL..

I don’t like seeing him run.. It’s an ACL injury waiting to happen..

Well, they have Deshaun Watson.. I do consider him to be a quality QB.. I do think the Texans are an attractive location for that reason alone..

Our OL seems to be decent to slightly above average in pass protection.. Although we don’t get much push in the run game, the protection has been OK.
