The Super Bowl Halftime Performer Is ...
ghostwriter replied to TSNBDSC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Music these days doesn’t interest me.. I’m 33.. grew up on Nirvana, The Beatles and soft rock/classic rock.. Occasionally I like a song from a new band every here n there... but it’s rare.. I play guitar and sing, I do some recordings that I post online mainly on YouTube but overwhelmingly I feel left out in terms of popular music today.. Miss the days of MTV when I could just turn on the tube and watch 24 hours straight of good music... but those days are gone... -
First I must say, Jon Feliciano has been a huge factor in the run game.. it seems that when he is out we’re getting 2/3ypc but when he’s in Moss/Singletary are breaking huge runs and they have huge creases and lanes to run through.. Definitely feel like he is an above average guard and an excellent backup center in the event that Morse goes down... Daryl Williams OTOH has been playing at a very high level this year.. He has been very good on that right side of the line.. I think of all our free agent signings this offseason minus Stefon Diggs, Williams by far has been the most impressive.. Allen has had a fantastic pocket all year for him to step into... Dawkins, Morse and Williams giving him plenty of time.. So, if we were looking to extend Williams and Feliciano, what do you guys think their contracts would look like?

Our defense is starting to come around.. I think we were set back because of Corona.. although they weren’t good for the first half of the year at least now they are forcing turnovers which kind of makes up for all the yards and points that we’ve given up.. If you’re going to give up yards anyways, might as well focus on ballhawking and stripping the ball away.. I think turnovers and PPG are the two most single and important stats used to judge a defense..

NFL.COM's top ten WR corps(Bills high on list)
ghostwriter replied to Stank_Nasty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Age is the only thing.. Brown is 30 and Beasley is 31.. Roberts is 32.. We’re good with Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis but we could use a protege to add into the mix... preferably a STs ace.. Let em learn behind the vets for a year or two.. but we do need to add someone in the mold of Mecole Hardman.. A pass catching tight end is probably more pertinent though.. -
Obviously Frank Reich should be #1... I thought that Coy Wire was a solid special teams player while he was here, filled in pretty well when he had to... Wyatt Teller seems to be making a name for himself in Cleveland... Jabari Greer was a backup throughout most of his time here... went on to win a Super Bowl with the Saints... Kyle Orton came here as a backup and won the starting job... mediocre QB but the best we’ve had in a while up to that point... John DiGiorgio was a backup here through most of his time here but had one really good season as a starter... Arthur Moats is also another backup guy who had a few nice seasons as a starter.. I’m sure there’s others I’m forgetting...

What would it take for you to trade Josh?

I’d start with four first round picks and various other picks included as well.. -
Scouting The Arizona Cardinals
ghostwriter replied to Dont Stop Billeiving's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great post! I do think one wildcard going into this game though is this Bills defense.. Great defense over these last few years but kind of struggled over the first half of the season BUT we did some good things against Russ and a great great great Seattle offense.. I think COVID royally screwed this squad and I think they’re just getting their feet under them now.. I’ll take Allen over Murray and I’ll take Russ over Murray too so I think Murray should have a lesser game than Wilson... Overall I think this will have to be a team effort.. Need Smoke, Knox, Davis and Beezer to step up.. Diggs against Peterson is a tough tough matchup for us.. Hopefully we do see some production out of Diggs in spite of that though.. -

Would you want to re-sign Isiah McKenzie?
ghostwriter replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t think there’s any way Daryl Williams and Jon Feliciano don’t get signed.. Don’t see any way we draft a LG high either.. so much invested into Ford.. that’s probably the one weak spot on our OL.. Think you go either LB, CB or DT with that first pick.. -
Best single play in Bills history
ghostwriter replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From this year it was Allen to Yeldon for a 30 yard gain and a touchdown believe it or not.. Allen looked like Neo from the Matrix winging that one in there.. The window he fit it in was unreal, it like curved in there past two defenders like bending a bullet.. At that point I knew Allen was going to have a great year and he arrived as our QB.. special throw.. -
The Slide (Stefon Diggs): smart move?

I mentioned that Diggs was a lot like Harrison two days ago.. -
Poyer is by far our best player on defense.. he’s a machine..

Matt Hasselbeck on QB “intangibles” and Josh...
ghostwriter replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m so glad this guy is our QB... I love him.. So humble too.. Dropped over 400 yards and 4 TDs on the Seahawks defense yet he sits humbly on the bench like nothing happened... Does Josh even realize how good he is? -

I think you offer him a vet minimum contract with no guarantees and you draft a guy.. -
Diggs' trade is aging like a fine wine

Woulda been higher had Smoke not been injured.. -
Holy crap Daboll interview
ghostwriter replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes.. I’d understand if a golden opportunity came along but i hope Daboll waits for the right opening.. Don’t go to a crap organization like the Jets for the sake of being a HC.. If he stays in Buffalo long enough with Josh Allen as his QB, his resume is going to be golden and he may end up with a ring.. -
Josh Was Hurt... Theory Inside
ghostwriter replied to DeltaDigital's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think John Brown is hugely important.. He is a very good #2... when he went down it really hurt us.. although I’m sure the shoulder injury didn’t help.. -
I’m thinking our defense got setback because of COVID.. seems they’re getting their feet underneath them now.. I mean they were pretty gritty against a great Seattle offense..

Bills' O-Line depth is remarkable

Bates and Boettger were highly impressive.. almost feel like they should be starting... Mongo at center is not a bad reality. -
Is Tua hype the new Darnold hype?
ghostwriter replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t see Tua beating Allen in a shootout... I just don’t... Could see Tua being a good QB, but I don’t see him putting up 450 yards and 5 TDs the way Allen can... Miami does have a good team though but I’m not really overly concerned by them.. Buffalo could have a Championship team if this defense figures things out and I think they can... -
Diggs' trade is aging like a fine wine
ghostwriter replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He runs such great routes and has fantastic size and quickness.. Even if there isn’t huge separation there is still enough separation for Allen to get the ball there... Stefon Diggs reminds me a lot of Marvin Harrison in terms of ability and as a player comparison.. Insane route running skills.. Very fast twitch.
