Allen is great at hitting those short to intermediate routes and that’s what Diggs does best.. Quick juke move and Allen just rifles it in..

Knox is garbage.. never been another Bills player that I disliked more than Knox..

Some years there are no good QBs at all in an entire draft.. Look at the 2013 draft.. Even the #1 overall pick can’t get you a franchise QB sometimes.. Even if there’s two or three nice prospects, usually all of them are gone within the first five picks.. Meaning, if you’re a team like New England, we’re talking 2-3 1st round picks minimum to go up for one.. Some guys do fall through the cracks though, it happens but not often..

Most likely.. but you gotta play the hand you’re dealt.. I’m a firm believer in BPA.. Gimme a HOF player at a position that may not exactly be a need for this team over someone who is JAG. TE, WR, C, G, DE, DT, LB, CB, S — Just get me the best player..

Thing with Brown is.. I know we need a pass rushing DE more than anything but if there is an elite WR prospect available when we pick, yeah Brown could be expendable.. Typically there’s some really darn good WR prospects available in the bottom of the first.. Same could be said for LB and C too! Morse could very well be gone, as could Milano..

Which is exactly why someone like Milano should not be re-signed.. Cost way too much, often injured and McD drafts defense well..

The 2017 NFL draft was all McDermott.. So Tre Day, Dion Dawkins and Matt Milano were all his choices.. Whaley was pretty much a glorified scout at that time and McDermott was the matter de facto GM.. Think McDermott clearly understands defense at a far greater level than Beane.. So I think as far as our defensive acquisitions goes, McD is caesar.. Also guys like Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer etc were all McD choices .. As far as offense goes, I think Beane is responsible for Josh Allen, Cole Beasley, John Brown, Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Mitch Morse, Daryl Williams, Cody Ford and Jon Feliciano.. So I think it really depends on the player.. I think these two respect each other greatly and it’s a concerted effort however..

If you want to be a passing team, by all means, let’s be a passing team. Probably the right way to go, but you still need to be good at situational running. Some situations you absolutely have to run.
