  1. Sure, never said it was a bad thing but once again I couldn’t help that I was completely bored out of my mind. Excellent coach, but McDermott is the Dick Jauron of interviews. Great coach though. Will skip his interviews here on out.
  2. Tremaine Edmunds the OLB has tremendous potential. Tremaine Edmunds the MLB will never live up to what we thought he’d be. No instincts, not physical enough to take on blocks. Could do very well covering the TEs of the league. Could see him beating tackles with his speed off the edge as a blitzer. He does not have what it takes between his ears to be the QB of our defense. Still a huge talent though at OLB.
  3. I did not expect such a thing but it was still a shallow and superficial interview nonetheless. No depth or insight in the slightest. Very good coach, exemplary human being but I learned not a whole lot. Clearly didn’t show his hand in any way.
  4. Re-sign to a 2 year $4M deal. Gives up small plays but doesn’t get burned a whole lot. Draft or sign competition, good depth at the least.
  5. This is a very bad decision on Gruden’s part if he lets Carr go. He certainly isn’t the best, but you could do a lot lot worse. Draft one before you deal Carr, maybe even sit the rook on the bench for a year. Dumb dumb dumbity dumb dumb.
  6. I learned nothing. Boring interview. Had to shut it off midway through. Very Belichickesque.
  7. Of course he’s gone, been saying it for months now. For the fans clamoring to keep him, that my friends is none other than an emotional response. Business wise, Gabe Davis is more than ready to take over. Draft another one RDs 1-3. Move on.
  8. A mid round pick for John Brown would be a nice reality for us. He’s old, he’s injury prone and I think that Gabriel Davis is ready to start opposite of Stefon Diggs. There’s no doubt in my mind that Davis will be a much better player than Brown next year. I like Boogie Basham or Zaven Collins with that first pick, but if both are gone I could see us drafting a WR or TE there. Would be nice to add a player with some speed and returning capabilities at the same time. Ideally both John Brown and Andre Roberts will be upgraded this offseason. Diggs, Davis, Beasley and McKenzie should be our base, maybe Hodgins comes around, who knows, but personally I’d like to see at least two new players there, if not a high pick, at least in the 2nd or 3rd.
  9. From the sense that we’ve finally landed our franchise QB after 20 odd years? Yes. I still think Josh Allen will deliver us a Championship. I guess you could say it’s one of our best drafts ever for that reason alone. I think Edmunds has been underwhelming as the QB of our defense but I also think that he is 1.) Playing out of position and 2.) Isn’t being allowed to attack and be aggressive the way he should be. If Edmunds were to walk and play in a different scheme and in a different capacity he could be a much better player than he has been. I have a very low opinion of Leslie Frazier.
  10. He would be a quality DE in heavy packages aimed at stopping the run, but probably not as a pass rusher. Goal line situations? Sure. 3rd &1 and 4th & 1? Sure. Clearly he is struggling because we have no 1 tech DTs on the roster, but even then he may not be too good.
  11. I’d much rather have JJ Watt than Jadeveon Clowney, I assume their price tags will be similar. Although Watt is older and perhaps not as durable, he is capable of a 20 sack season whereas Clowney would be lucky to get you 10 sacks even if the stats aligned for him.
  12. Been saying this for months now.. JJ Watt on a 1 year prove it deal would be a nice gamble for the Bills, with a solid chance we get a good return on our investment. Wouldn’t trade for him, his contract is too much, but if he were cut, I’d be all over him. Give me Watt and Boogie Basham in the 1st round.
  13. The YouTube video I watched seemed to say otherwise. Wish I could embed videos, I’m not very tech savvy. Anyways, I do think Luck comes back.
  14. Pat McAfee, who played with Andrew Luck. Believe he was the punter there while Luck was QB.
  15. Hearing whispers that he may be on his way back to the Colts, misses football.
  16. Not sure if this is a new revelation for him or if he’s had these feelings for awhile now but I think COVID is partially to blame for what many people are going through mentally right now. Could be football, could be the fact that we’ve all been locked inside for a year now and it doesn’t help that we’re going through a brutal winter right now on top of that. I’m a very introverted kind of guy. I don’t need an entourage of 10 different people to follow me around wherever I go, I like being by myself, but gosh darn I do need some human contact. Cant just say this is just football or CTE or depression, I think many normal everyday people are struggling right now, just the way it is.
  17. They have the best team in the NFL. Sure, Mahomes may very well be the future GOAT, but gosh darn that team is loaded. They can run, they can pass, their defense is loaded. Their coaching is so good that they squeeze every last drop of potential out of mid round, late round and even undrafted players. Very good everything.
  18. Anything past the 2nd round falls apart quickly but that’s true for any mock site. RDs 1-2 though generally speaking should give you a feel for the first two rounds.. CBS Sports is also very decent but I think Walter is better. I just try n get a feel for the big board so I can watch highlights and look at stats.
  19. Gives you a feel as to where players will go, what range, what round etc. From there I kind of see what guys may be there when we pick and then I can look at highlights and stats etc. They’re not great at scouting players but once again, in their mocks they’ll at least get you in the ballpark as far as where X player will go, which is helpful..
  20. It would never happen.. it’d take so many picks over the next 5 drafts that any team trading for him would be barren for the next decade.. There’d be no plausible way for that team to draft or rebuild in any way..
  21. Boogie Basham or Zaven Collins would be great fits for this defense.. I’d take either at 30.
