  1. Better than Spain was. Probably a top 25-30 guard in the NFL. Not elite but slightly above average. Way better than $3M, that’s less than John Miller made last year. Feliciano is way better than Miller. Find an elite guard in the draft and we have two above average guards locked up for the next 2-3 years.
  2. Seems grossly negligent to not put a quality line in front of your budding franchise QB. Especially when he likes the player in question. Did we not learn from Kansas City?
  3. I think we won’t spend much, although if we free up a bunch of space, that’s a possibility. I’m hoping for veterans that either A.) Will accept less for a shot at a Championship.. or B.) Are willing to sign a cheap one year prove it deal. Guys like JJ Watt, Bud Dupree, Jadeveon Clowney, Justin Houston, Solomon Thomas (cheap deal near vet min), Tyson Alualu, Malik Hooker.. Offense: AJ Green, Mitchell Trubisky, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Russell Okung (backup/depth), Cordarelle Patterson, Jacob Hollister, Rex Burkhead, Leonard Fournette, LeVeon Bell, DeDe Westbrook. Defense does seem to have more quality players readily available.
  4. His value is around $2M. I’d love to have him back at that rate on a one year deal.
  5. This sounds about right to me. Feliciano is a dog though and Allen loves him. May be closer to the $6.5M-$7.5M range, but likely not much higher than that. Our players and staff love him, and since Feliciano is confident he’ll be back means to me that he will likely get paid. Doesn’t break the bank, we continue to build a dominant line around Allen. Sounds good to me.
  6. This has to be so depressing for Texans fans.. JJ Watt, out and now Deshaun Watson wants out too. I mean, what a soul sucking reality for that fan base. Should give Watson a pay bump or something, you cannot let him go if you’re serious about winning.
  7. Maybe he just needs a change of scene. I really don’t know. Two 1sts is terrible, I mean absolutely terrible value for him. Could see two 2nds. Extensive injury history would scare me away.
  8. Please, please, please. I know he’s struggled with injuries and his production dipped but one guy I’d never rule out is JJ Watt. He is a freak of nature, he’s not terribly old, I think we can squeeze one more good year out of him. I covet him the most of any FA.
  9. No doubt. We can’t have A+ talents at every position. Feliciano is not the problem, probably a B to B+ player. He’s a big fat angry SOB and Allen loves him. Wont cost a ton.
  10. JJ Watt would be incredible. Should be a reasonable contract, could have a bounce back year and completely outplay his contract. Jadeveon Clowney on a team friendly deal would be a good move as well. Give me both of them!
  11. I think he is a slightly above average pass blocker, it’s not like he’s terrible. Obviously when he is in, we can run and when he’s not in, we can’t run. I think having a road grading center can set the tone for the rest of the OL. Add a few road graders in the draft to challenge Ford and hopefully our line is more balanced.
  12. Good player. You can say what you want about the AFC Championship game but make no bones about it we run the ball better with Feliciano in there. Think Feliciano would do very well at center.
  13. Been saying it forever. Gimme Watt and Boogie Basham.
  14. Also, the amount of picks it would take for someone who would play RT here wouldn’t be worth it.
  15. If Boogie Basham and Zaven Collins are gone I’m open to the idea.. Haven’t got too much into the draft process yet and part of me wonders why bother? Beane is going to do a good job.
  16. Josh Allen is a rhythm passer. I agree that we need a more effective running game especially within that 20yd line and goal line range and it would also be beneficial in the event that Allen is struggling that day, but make no bones about it, we are a passing team and getting Allen into a rhythm is our best shot at winning. Having a plan b is always nice though.
  17. We need help on the DL for sure.. Also think we need to add some really physical press corners. DBs that can completely annihilate WRs within that 5 yard window at the LOS. Completely throws off the timing of the offense and it forces QBs to hold onto the ball longer than they’d like. Also need DBs that can lay the lumber down. Obviously no defense will ever be able to step every completion, but every WR or RB that gets the ball must pay a tax. But did they switch up whom was rushing? Perhaps they were dropping some of their DL into coverage because it seemed like they blitzed Barrett every play.
  18. From my end I saw lots of blitzes, not to discredit you in any way, maybe their blitzes were simply just more effective than ours. I will also agree with you very strongly that their LBs are are 10x better than ours. I think the main lesson that should be learned here is that you must allow your guys to attack. They can’t simply sit back and be passive. You must be aggressive and physical on defense. The offense must be punished, whomever has the ball, not just their WRs, TEs and RBs but more importantly the QB. They must be hit hard, preferably by multiple defenders every time they get the ball. In my mind that’s the only way to stop a good offense. Finesse defenses don’t work, must be violent and physical. Whomever gets the ball must pay a tax. Take note how Kansas City moved the ball in garbage time effortlessly late in the 4th qtr. Tampa Bay’s defense was playing prevent at that point, which is pretty much what the Bills have run all year. They started to get gashed up pretty bad. Our Bills defense has some quality players, but the philosophy and scheme is clearly diminishing any talent we have on this roster.
  19. This offseason is paramount as far as how far we’ll go next year, especially in terms of the draft. Very little cap flexibility, must draft very well throughout the entire draft. Need to strike gold on our mid round and late round picks. OL, DL, TE seem to be our biggest needs.. May have enough cap for a few second tier free agents, but that’s about it.
  20. Todd Bowles got demolished in the regular season against KC. Why? Because he played a soft defense against them. They were not aggressive, they did not attack, they sat in bubbles waiting just as we do. Once Bowles allowed his players to attack and be aggressive, his defense thrived. He was very aggressive, blitzed quite often, from various places all over the field. Rushed one, dropped one, sometimes dropped everyone and yet his front four still got pressure. Another thing I noticed as well was that when Clyde Edwards Helaire, Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill got the ball they’d pay for it. Sometimes 2 if not 3 defenders would lay a nasty hit on them just to let them know what was coming every time they got the ball. They also took Hill away, even when Hill went into motion Tampa’s back seven automatically adjusted and mirrored his movements, quickly. You can’t passively sit back against good QBs like Mahomes, you have to create pressure, otherwise they’ll pick you apart.
  21. Good, not elite. Would pay him good money but not elite money. $6.5M-$7M in my mind is congruent with his value and services to the team. Some folks may say he is not elite, which is true.. but we can’t pay an entire roster full of players elite money anyhow.. He’s a solid piece on that OL, should be brought back as Darryl Williams should be as well. Similar situation. Both should be paid good money, not elite money. Allen also has a comfort level in Feliciano. Keep Allen happy, bring Feliciano back. Maybe move on from Morse, maybe not. We could use an elite player on that line though for sure. Not sure how that’ll work though because we seem married to Ford.
  22. Free Agency • Daryl Williams, RT 3yrs $30M • Jon Feliciano, G/C 3rs $17M • JJ Watt, DE 1yr $8M Cut • Jerry Hughes, DE • Vernon Butler, DT • Quinton Jefferson, DT • Mario Addison, DE Draft • RD1 - Boogie Basham, DE, Wake Forest • RD2 - Pat Freiermuth, TE PSU
  23. I can’t stand Patrick Mahomes. Granted I wanted the Bills to draft him but he’s become one prideful and arrogant SOB. I still can’t get over how cocky and disrespectful they were to us in the AFC Championship game. No love for the Chiefs. Hopefully this rocks their confidence and the Bills have an easier path to the Super Bowl.
