  1. Sorry you see it that way. The way I see it is Buffalo and Cook are not quite seeing eye to eye as far as the bottom line is concerned.. And I do love Cook the player.. He was one of my favorite players the year he came out. I think he’s a great player but I think he may be asking for too much.. I would love him on a 2yr $20M deal or a 2yr $22M deal but in the end I think he’s really looking to cash in. I see this as a business transaction whereas other fans see their favorite player that they want to see re-signed. I love the guy but at a price..
  2. No, sir. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to come off as inflammatory, I just think that Cook is asking for too much, which is why I referenced his tweets and his brother’s tweets. I think $10M-$11M/year is about right, but in the end I think he wants much more than that. Anyways, sorry for the confusion..
  3. I don’t understand why you’re so upset. You’re taking this waaay too personally. Breathe.
  4. I bet you $100 that Cook is not a Bill after this season.
  5. Let’s see how this ages.
  6. Cook is very good, but not elite. He barely cracked 1K yards in a loaded Bills offense so I doubt he would produce more than that somewhere else. In my heart I want Cook, but in my mind I know it’s a bad idea. He’s an excellent speed back, but he can’t block and he can’t catch the ball. There’s a big difference between Cook and Barkley and Henry. If there’s a Bijan Robinson or Najee Harris type of back available next year at the bottom of RD1 though I wouldn’t be against it..
  7. Anything more than $10M/year and I’m out.
  8. I would be highly disappointed if he didn’t make the team. Not only is he a great STs player, but I think he could be a great situational pass rusher on defense.
  9. Cook did not go about it the right way. If you want a new contract, don’t take to Twitter and don’t get your brother involved either.. Get it done with Beane behind closed doors.. This will be his last year in Buffalo. If you can get a 2nd or 3rd for him, do it..
  10. Ok and let’s say you’re right.. You don’t pay a RB $15M-$20M a year.
  11. He’s not a team player, we’ve already been over this with Diggs, this never ends well..
  12. Would you rather we sign James Cook or O’Cyrus Torrence and Conor McGovern?
  13. Aaron Schobel, Terrence McGee, Jabari Greer. EDIT: Also, nobody talks about Nate Clements anymore but he was a shutdown corner while in Buffalo.
  14. I’m mildly optimistic. I think that there’s a chance that Cole Bishop wins the job and Rapp plays alright.
  15. He’s not a 1T, he’s a 3T, but make no mistake, he can handle his business in run support too.
  16. I have not been this excited for football in a long time. I think the biggest change you’ll see is that our defense will be a force this year and Buffalo will have a balanced football team.
  17. I never liked the pick but I am going to give him a fair shake. I think that the best case scenario is Keon will be a low end #1 or a high end #2 but in all likelihood I think he’ll be an average #2.
  18. I love Cook and I was hoping that we would sign him long term but I’m at a point now where I think we need to re-sign O’Cyrus Torrence and Conor McGovern and perhaps draft someone in RD1-RD2 at RB in the 2026 Draft.
  19. I don’t see toughness as being a weakness in Bishop’s game, matter of fact, I think that toughness is a major strength to his game, he’s similar to Poyer in that regard. The question is, does he have the brains of Poyer or the dog mentality that he had? I see Bishop as a SS/hammer that can lay the lumber down. But how well can he cover? And how well does he have the playbook down? And can he be our QB on defense? Im more worried about who will take on the Micah Hyde role on our defense.
  20. I think Beane’s thought process here was that if he paid Stefon Diggs big money he would simmer down and be a team player. Unfortunately he did not.. I know it looks bad that Beane ate $31M in dead cap, but Stefon Diggs pre-injury was a premium player. Had he played in Buffalo last year (hypothetically speaking), he could of easily had 100+ catches and 1,500+ yards. He was a hell of a player, (we’ll have to wait and see how he does in New England this year..) I’m just glad that Beane was able to get a RD2 pick out of him, which essentially turned into TJ Sanders at #41. We can’t close the book on this trade yet until we see how he pans out.
  21. While you may be right on that, at least he owned his mistake.. I think he felt that the extension would pacify Diggs..
  22. Beane got out at the right time..
  23. Usually when it comes to Bills gear I like to buy through New Era exclusively but occasionally I’ll go to BB.com and take a gander through their store for tshirts and hoodies etc.. Their YouTube channel is fantastic as well. I like Chris Brown and Steve Tasker. I think they do a good job imo. Its also a good point of reference for roster/depth chart, schedule, coaching staff, injury list etc.. Btw, TBD.com >>>>>> BB.com.. You can actually say what you want here.. I don’t miss their message board one bit.
  24. He’s now worth $0. In the end it comes down to how well you know the good Lord and Jesus his Son.
