  1. The way I see it.. Even if Sanders isn’t what he once was, he will still be an excellent #4 WR. Let’s say Davis is lights out, Sanders can get you 45-60 catches. That’s a BIG upgrade over Isaiah McKenzie.
  2. I thought I remember watching him way back when.. one of the players I wanted the Bills to draft.. Elite speed IIRC.
  3. Right, but I wouldn’t give up more than a 4th for him, which this year we have none. Unless they’d make a player for player trade?
  4. Ertz would be incredible. Wouldn’t want to give up too much for him though, a bit on the older side. Maybe a 5th?
  5. Dalton never had much of an arm, neither does Burrow and although I love Burrow and I think he will be a great QB, he doesn’t necessarily have an elite arm, he’s more of a surgeon. Ross could be deadly if paired with Allen. I do think he would be an upgrade over McKenzie, especially with Daboll using Ross in design plays to get the ball to him. Wouldn’t pay a whole lot but yes I do think he would do a lot better here with Allen & Daboll.
  6. Sure, they may give you little tid bits to create media attention and fan interest but they’ll never really tip their hand in any way. Haven’t been to buffalobills.com in over a decade.
  7. I don’t believe a word that comes out of any GMs or coaches mouth.
  8. A big part of it is Brady. Without Brady, nobody wants to play there. Keep in mind that NE has been hated for years, not just a little bit of hatred, but deep boiling hatred and disgust. We Bills fans are not the only ones who hate them, but much of the NFL does as well. I could see 9 wins for them this year but I also think these big signings will hamstring them greatly in the future post Belichick. Think this is desperation on Belichick’s part. Brady leaves and wins a Super Bowl without him. Not even against a marginal team but against a formidable Kansas Chiefs team lead by Patrick Mahomes in dominant fashion. Belichick is now left with an okay team, a good team, not a great one and it looks like he may never win the division again, let alone the Super Bowl. These big free agent signings will screw them in the future. They had to overpay by 20-25% for just about every FA they signed. They are neither rebuilding nor contending, eventually their cap situation will implode and they’ll be left digging out of that hole for the next 3-4 years trying to get out of it. By that time they’ll have a culture of losing.
  9. I actually think the Op showed quite a bit of insight. Many fans are expecting a big signing, but I’m not. Not saying we won’t make any moves, but I highly doubt we make a big one.
  10. I’m okay with this and I think you’re absolutely right.
  11. Peterson has lost a step physically, but mentally he is as sharp as a razor blade. Will make plays, will play at a high level because of what’s between his ears. One of the smarter corners in the NFL, would be a fantastic option to play opposite of Tre.
  12. May only be two good ones total out of the entire litter.
  13. This is actually an acute observation. Couldn’t agree more. Who will play QB? These are the kind of moves a contender would make, not a tepid lukewarm franchise.
  14. Problem is, you can’t build through free agency. I disagree with that approach strongly. Certainly you can add a few solid pieces every here and there but you must build through the draft. You get these 21-22 year old kids signed to cheap 4-5 year deals and they’re healthy and they’re young and they play well and they’re cheap. Some of these big free agents are 27-28 years old, many have had injuries and many of them you will pay for what they’ve done in the past and not for what they’ll do for your team in the future.
  15. Yes, I agree. Lance does have great upside, I like him a lot. I do think he needs some salt and pepper and lots of seasoning though. New England may have to trade up to get him however and Lance once again will take 2-3 years before he reaches close to his potential. How does this relate to the Bills and Josh? Allen is going into his 4th year and by the time this Lance guy becomes decent Allen will be a 7 year pro. Keep in mind that Allen has one of the highest upsides of any QB drafted in the last 20 years albeit one of the most raw ones to boot. At this point for the Bills, it’s all about building Allen’s confidence and that will only come with time. The more Allen gets put in these big game situations, the more experienced he’ll get and the more his nerves will calm down. Basically what I’m saying is by the time Lance becomes decent Allen will be much much further along.
  16. That’s encouraging. I don’t think Knox is as bad as some make him out to be. He could potentially breakout and be a star player. Definitely within the realms of possibility.
  17. Right, it’s all about that QB, man. I think they have a shot at Trey Lance whom I feel will actually be a good QB but, it may take 2-3 years to develop him. Can Bill Belichick stomach losing the division 2-3 times over the next three years? What will happen in that scenario?
  18. He’s great in coverage, but not physical against the run.
  19. Marcus Cannon was traded, wasn’t he? Edelman is old and Gilmore is a soft player, isn’t he over 30? I admit their defense is decent, but I look forward to us going up against Stephon “traitor” Gilmore. He went to our biggest rival and I look forward to the Bills pummeling them twice next year. Their offense is terrible, Josh is the best QB in the division, so long as he stays healthy we’ll be AFC East Division Champs x2.
  20. I don’t know, what they’ve done is pretty underwhelming to me.
  21. Not running the right formations. 🤷‍♂️
