  1. We’ll see.. I’m not completely sold on him, I could absolutely be wrong though.
  2. My friend, Harris is more than a goal line back. He can do everything, bit of Derrick Henry with a splash of LeVeon Bell in his prime. Same.
  3. There’s no doubt he’s incredible, no doubt. From what I’ve seen the kid is downright amazing but in order for a trade up to be worth it, he would have to be the best TE in the NFL. Seems like a pretty slim margin to be banking on. Even if he is a 60, 70 catch guy he would be a huge disappointment in relation to the amount of capital spent to move up and get him. I do too. Too steep. Very nice prospect though but once again, he has to be the best TE in the NFL for it to be worth it. Even if he’s just “good”, that’s not good enough. He needs to be the Michael Jordan of TEs.
  4. I understand you, many don’t realize how good Pitts is, but even with that in perspective, how good is he? 70 catches? 80? Or more? Freiermuth can probably get you 50 perhaps.. So 50 catches + a very decent MLB and extra draft picks or Kyle Pitts? In order for your trade to be worth it Pitts would have to be the best TE in the league. 80, 90, 100 catches year in, year out minimum.
  5. Just seems like we would have a better team all around if we just kept Edmunds, traded down and took Freiermuth. Think Freiermuth will be a solid starter as I also think Hunter Long may be a decent target at 61. Once again, are you willing to give up so much for maybe a modest difference in production? Makes no sense to me.
  6. It’s not as dumb as some make it out to be.. But my friend, my friend, would you not rather have Edmunds + a trade down and simply take Pat Freiermuth? Would the gap in production be so profound that it would be worth giving so much up for Pitts? Think Freiermuth + extra picks + Edmunds > Pitts.
  7. Surely you mean Shaq Lawson and not Manny Lawson, correct? I see him as being more athletic than Shaq. Obviously he isn’t Reggie White from a power standpoint but I do see him as being able to stop the run. Pretty good from a power standpoint in that respect, he’s clearly a LE. I think his first step is underrated. I like him a lot and he is my favorite pick at 30, but my gut feeling is he won’t be a Bill. We’ll have to agree to disagree my friend but I’m glad you liked the rest of my mock. 👍
  8. What is it that you don’t like about Boogie, my friend? Please go into detail, what are you seeing?
  9. I don’t think we take him, that’s the sad thing. Basham will go very early RD2. He’s my guy, but I think we go elsewhere at 30 and he obviously won’t be around at 61. I pick out my guys and I stick to them. Only so many of these players will be stars so it’s kind of hard to change it up every mock draft I do. I tell you this, if we don’t go Basham I hope we go Zaven Collins. If we don’t go Collins I want either Najee Harris, Elijah Moore or Pat Freiermuth..
  10. 48. Carlos Basham Jr. EDGE Wake Forest 61. Jabril Cox LB LSU 62. Quinn Meinerz OC Wisconsin-Whitewater 93. Quincy Roche EDGE Miami (FL) 161. Tedarrell Slaton DT Florida 174. Shakur Brown CB Michigan State 213. Bryan Mills CB NC Central
  11. I see no reason to draft a DT at 30. This can easily be addressed in RD2-RD3.
  12. They should trade down and take Trey Lance. Sit him behind Darnold for a year and get extra picks. Maybe Darnold does well? Trade him for even more picks.
  13. With the 48th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft the LV Raiders select: Jackson Carman, RT, Clemson Not a flashy pick but I have him rated as a Mid first to mid second round pick. I think he is a natural fit at RT although he played at LT for Clemson. Some see him as a guard, I don’t. I see him as an elite RT prospect who could do an OK job at LT if Kolton Miller were to go down. I thought about Jay Tufele here but I’m confident that I can address DT later on in the draft very easily. RT though? Not so much. I think this move pretty much completes the Raiders OL. Miller, Incognito, Martin, Vera-Tucker and now Carman at RT. I think Martin may prove to be a better center with these upgrades around him. He battled injuries but has flashed quality potential in the past. This would be a quality OL for Oakland, easily making this unit one of the best in the league. Carman is a powerful tackle, very thick in both his upper and lower body. Not a good enough pass blocker to be on the left side, but very well good enough for the right. He is a mauler in the run game, very violent. Once he gets his hands on you it’s over. Thought about Elijah Moore here, but he was taken before me. Great job @TPS @Philo Sir, you are on the clock. 👍
  14. Sewell is going to be very very good. Probably be an elite LT in the NFL.. I don’t think Eichenburg will be good. Give me Sam Cosmi instead.
  15. My friend, I think he can gain 10-15lbs easy. If you remember, it took Milano a few years to fill out as well. Could easily see JOK at 230lbs, no problem and he is a big hitter.
  16. Yes, if you are confident in the QB. Most important player on the field, but if you find yourself in an EJ Manuel or Geno Atkins type of draft you’re better off staying put and drafting BPA. I see one QB worth three 1sts in this draft and that’s Trevor Lawrence. Would give up multiple picks for Trey Lance as well, but not three 1sts. Maybe swap 1sts and throw a 2nd in there with a mid round pick the next year.
  17. I really like Meinerz and I have for quite a while now. He’s a very nice prospect, I don’t care what school he went to.
  18. I don’t think we really have the ammunition to move around too much.. I think that Beane did a great job at patching up holes on the roster and I think at this point he goes BPA.
  19. Yeah, man. I’m just getting back into it. I started training when I was 12 and I kept on training regularly until I was about 25-26. Anyways, alcoholism kicked in, gained a ton of weight and lost all my gains, did nothing for about 8 years until I started training again in January of this year (I’m 33 now), So I started walking every morning and weight training later in the day. Shed 55lbs in 3 months and I’m probably around 60% back to where I was. I wasn’t sure if muscle memory was a real thing or not but now I’m convinced it is. I had an unbelievable body at my peak, many people accused me of doing steroids but I was natural. It was a really hard, if not devastating thing for me to go through mentally when it came to gaining all that weight, it put me in a dark depression. Anyways, It’s just weird for me to go from being the fat guy, to the guy that girls are checking out and who dudes are pointing out to their friends and saying, damn that guy’s huge.
  20. Since it’s been narrowed down I’m going with JOK. Our offense is more than decent, our defense needs help. JOK seems like he’ll be a superstar, may be undersized but boy does he hit hard. I really did want to go Najee Harris, I love him but I just think that our defense needs it more.
  21. Yessir. I’m okay with Najee in the right scenario, not my first choice but still a solid one.
  22. I’m worried if a hole doesn’t open up that he’ll be dropped like a sack of potatoes, that worries me. Seems like Najee is fast and can open holes, can catch too. Seems a lot like Derrick Henry if not LeVeon Bell. I’m worried about Etienne.
