But RB is so dependent on OL. Would Etienne make a difference? Or would his lanes get closed and he gets dropped like a sack of potatoes? A true running game is only sustainable through great OL play.
-
And if Etienne does end up being a Christian McCafferry talent, do you pay a RB $16M/yr when it comes to their second contract?

Never wanted him. Give me Rousseau and Boogie all day.

Bills sign DT Treyvon Hester
ghostwriter replied to Not at the table Karlos's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You’ll see Ed Oliver there as well. -
From my untrained eye, Marino was better, but Kelly was a great player in his own right.

Nope. 10,000 gummy bears.
-
Last year he sprinted up hills for reps, I doubt he’s skipping legs.

Bills interested in CB Steven Nelson

This would be a great signing. Hopefully Beane can sweeten some things up in his contract to get him to come here. Would fill a huge need. -
Bills working out CB De’Vante Bausby

I’m hoping we hold out for something better. -
I wonder if he’s natty or not. I mean, that’s quite the transformation in such a short period of time. Certainly such a physique is attainable, but he did it so quickly and his frame looks maxed out. Anyways, Singletary the player is better than people make him out to be. He is better than Moss I don’t care what anyone says.

Cover 1 breakdown on Gregory Rousseau
ghostwriter replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great video btw, Cover 1 has some great videos and is super informative. I subbed to their YouTube channel after this video showed up on my feed. Anyways, he almost reminds me a bit of Mario Williams. If I had to pick a player comparison, it would be him. Mario was bigger, but Rousseau has to fill out his frame more. Both tall lengthy guys, I think Rousseau will add at least another 15-20lbs. He obviously could have been a top 5 pick had he had another year of production. Some see him as a project, admittedly you would like to see him have more experience, but you can’t just stumble upon 15.5 sacks and 46 QB pressures, that’s not luck. He doesn’t need to bend the way Jerry Hughes or AJ Epenesa does. He has such great length that he covers so much ground in one or two steps and he seems to use great leverage and also, he is a very high effort guy that goes to the whistle. The Bills did good by taking him at 30. -

1. Allen 2. Diggs 3. Superbowl
ghostwriter replied to BillsFan692's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Defense is by far the most important aspect as far as how far we go. Allen and co can drop 40 on you no problem, but if this defense can put Brady and Mahomes on their rear ends, we have ourselves a complete football team. I do like Boogie and Rousseau, we certainly added a few quality pass rushers and I do think we will add another corner somewhere during camp cuts/preseason cuts/salary cuts. How much progress this defense will make remains to be seen, but it is absolutely vital if we intend on winning a Super Bowl. -
RD 1, Pick 30: Greg Rousseau, Edge (Miami) Public Poll Added

He reminds me a little of Chris Jones, except he’s smaller. Your Carlos Dunlap comparison though is shocking.. Nearly identical numbers. If he’s anything like Dunlop or Jones I’m good with the pick. 👍 -
Tulsa QB Zach Smith set for tryout with Bills

Tough sledding for him. -
I think both Boogie and Rousseau will be very good players (especially Boogie) but boy o boy, for a team needing a pass rush did they ever hit on those two first picks. Barring salary cap hell or a major breakdown, I think both these guys will get second contracts with the Bills eventually. Spencer Brown and Tommy Doyle will both be good players, probably not elite ones, but quality NFL linemen who will keep Josh upright. Don’t see any Pro Bowl or HOF caliber talents there, but really solid and smart picks nonetheless.

Could he even beat Harry out?
