  1. I don’t know you too well but I admire a man who will stand by his opinion. See, I don’t like Etienne, I think he may end up being a CJ Spiller type of prospect but I do have doubt in my mind, doubt that I may be wrong. I tend to embellish the prospects I like and to stay silent on the ones I don’t like. It is amusing to me however that you don’t like Harris. Would you mind going into great detail about what you don’t like?
  2. My friend, I’m sorry. I got it all wrong. He is plenty fast. Even if he runs a 4.5, which the article I posted said he has run a 4.45 in the past, is still plenty fast enough for a man his size. He can stop on a dime as well.
  3. Challenge accepted. Harris will be either the 1st or 2nd off of the board, but you’re going with 4th or later? I’ll accept that bet. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2934949-najee-harris-is-2021-nfl-drafts-best-running-back There isn't much that Harris can't do at a high level. While running between the tackles, he displays excellent vision in spotting holes, burst in exploding through those holes and power to run through arm tackles. He has more than enough speed to hurt defenses around the edges, as he's run a 4.45-second 40-yard dash and a 3.7-second 20-yard shuttle. He's not the best pass-catcher in this class, but his improvement in that area in 2020 showed that he can be a factor on all three downs. He was also mostly solid in pass protection, which can be a rarity among rookies See above.
  4. I respectfully disagree. From my understanding he runs a 4.45, he is also 6’2 230lbs. So keep in mind that most safeties and DBs are 5’10-5’11 185-200lbs. Once a player like Harris gets moving, especially at 230lbs, these players can get seriously hurt trying to bring him down. Most of these guys when they see Harris running at them will whiff tackles because they realize they can get seriously hurt. It’s the same thing with Derrick Henry, except Harris can catch. He’s even big enough to punish many LBers in the NFL. Many of these guys are 220-230lbs now because they need to cover. If we do go offense RD1, I can’t think of a better option than Harris.
  5. I don’t think this would be a bad signing believe it or not. Not sure if he is a process guy though.
  6. I agree to a degree. I think it costs way to much to move up in the 1st or 2nd round, but if we were to move up in the 3rd, 4th or 5th it makes a whole lot more sense. Our defense needs an injection of youth, preferably at DL and in the secondary. A star corner, a star DE, a true NT is much needed. I could see an argument to go down however. If we are sitting at 30 and we feel lukewarm about all the prospects available, it makes sense to go down and acquire picks for 2021 and beyond. If you have 10-15 players with the same grade, why wouldn’t you go down?
  7. So basically this means that DL and DB is a more important position for us than LB. Milano, Edmunds and Klein are solid starting LBs in this league, so if we draft defense, LB should be on the back burner.
  8. 31. Carlos Basham Jr. EDGE Wake Forest 61. Jay Tufele DT USC 93. Trill Williams CB Syracuse 94. Jackson Carman OT Clemson 174. JaCoby Stevens S LSU 181. Tedarrell Slaton DT Florida
  9. I think the quickest way to fix this team is by revamping the DL. Would like to see 3-4 linemen drafted. Could always use another corner as well.
  10. Ha ha ha! Wonder if Vince McMahon will sign him to a WWE contract?
  11. Beane has my utmost respect. What he did to acquire Josh Allen was ballsy and that move made this franchise into what it is today. With that said, he needs to nail this draft if we want to win a Super Bowl. His job is very safe, but this defense needs to get fixed promptly. I don’t care if every one of our picks goes to defense, just fix it.
  12. He was actually a really good prospect at one point, but it seems that injuries have derailed his career. Hard to play at a high level with back/spinal issues.
  13. Yeah.. Honestly, I couldn’t careless if mocks are accurate or not. Just give me a list of the players and I’ll decide myself whether they’re good or not. I don’t need someone to do that for me.
  14. That’s a bunch of crap in my mind. Nobody should be able to force you to get injected with something otherwise you aren’t entitled to your livelihood. That’s illegal, if it’s not, it should be.
  15. Although I’d rather have Ertz than Njoku, I think we should open up talks with both teams and hopefully drive the costs down.
  16. Can never have enough corners. I’m even warming up to the idea of one at 30. Not my most favorite option, but still a solid option nonetheless and justifiable.
  17. Well, I hope you stick around after the draft my friend.
  18. Lots can happen in 7-8 years. Josh could blow out his knee or maybe something catastrophic like that could happen and although I think Josh is extremely high character and will likely never in his life experience any issues legally, the whole thing with Deshaun Watson scares me. What if he shatters an ankle like Dak Prescott or has an Alex Smith like knee injury? Give him a 4 year deal, pay him $45M/year. Josh will earn more money that way and we’re protected long term financially.
  19. Carman screams RT to me. He to me is a Cordy Glenn caliber of prospect. Some may say that’s a bad thing but Glenn was quite good before he mailed it in, good enough to land a 5yr $65M contract with the Bills at one point. I don’t think Carman would be a good LT because of athleticism, as you pointed out and I couldn’t agree more but I do think if you put him on the right side he is more than adept at manning that position. He’s 6’5 335lbs and he is extremely thick. I see him as being a road grader on the right side. Sam Cosmi to me is a guy who will be a good LT. If I could think of a player comparison it would be Anthony Costanzo. May never be elite, may never be a HOFer but will be a good starting LT in this league so long as he is healthy. May sneak into a Pro Bowl or two but obviously this guy is nowhere near as gifted as say Penei Sewell. He will never be in that elite echelon of LTs but he will not be a liability however in any way. Regardless, the depth at tackle in this draft is completely astounding to me, I’ve never seen anything like it.
  20. Guessing at least 4. Two in the regular season and two in the playoffs.
  21. I have Sam Cosmi and Jackson Carman ahead of Liam Eichenberg.
