  1. He’ll likely backup Ed Oliver and rotate in off the edge. Very high probability he is a starter next year at RE. I’m assuming that Rousseau will obviously be our LE. Epenesa should also see quite a bit of snaps.
  2. I haven’t given up on Epenesa either. I loved that pick last year. Boy, we got ourselves a hell of a pass rush now.
  3. Dude, I am pumped right now. We got Rousseau, we got Boogie, we got Epenesa. I am so happy with this draft right now.
  4. I really like the idea of going up 10-12 spots but not much higher than that. Maybe 61 plus our 2022 3rd, I could live with that but I’d be highly reluctant to give up even slightly more than that. If a stud CB is available though, I’m absolutely down.
  5. @SDS Is there any way we can add approval polls to our draft picks from here on out?
  6. Rousseau, Obada, Epenesa, Hughes, Addison Daryl Johnson goes to the PS.
  7. Fair enough my friend, but keep in mind we just need a good #2 and not a shutdown #1. If we can upgrade that RCB spot I think that would be an amazing start to the draft. Fingers crossed for Marvin Wilson, Tyler Shelvin or Tedarrel Slaton RD3.
  8. I’m hoping a good corner is available at 61.
  9. I love the fact that we have a lineman that big on the DL now. I’m very happy about this. Our line was very undersized last year, this guy is a monster. He may have only produced one year, but in that one year he racked up more sacks than many of the other DEs had in 2-3 years combined. I feel good about this pick.
  10. I’m actually really excited about this. I love his size. 15.5 sacks his freshman year, you can’t fake that, you can’t get lucky that often. 6’7 270lbs, this guy should be a natural at LE. Obviously he will have zero problem against the run and looks to be a quality pass rusher as well. He wasn’t supposed to be here at 30. I’m giving this pick an A+.
  11. Well, this makes sense for New England. I do think he may be a solid starter, but in no way will this push the needle forward far enough for the Pats to overcome Josh and the Bills. He will never be the QB Josh is.
  12. Khalil Mack perhaps, but he’s 30-31 years old at this point. Even if we gave up a 1 for him I’d want at least a 3rd back.
  13. Beane’s saving grace is that he nailed the Josh Allen pick, outside of that his drafts have been mediocre, but because he found our franchise QB, that alone makes him a good GM. Outside of Gabe Davis, what has he really done? Many of his other picks were mediocre. Not only that, outside of Josh Allen, Wyatt Teller was his second best pick and he was traded away for nothing. Jury is out on Epenesa and Oliver, but it looks like Ford was a miss as well. Some of his other picks are decent but not great, Edmunds is probably the most divisive player on the team. Moss, Singletary, Knox, Harry and Taron Johnson are all solid players but not homeruns by any stretch of the imagination. I would not question Beane’s job security however, but honestly, once again, outside of Allen his drafts have been mediocre. I do trust him 100% though in the sense that I am aware of the fact that he knows far more about football than I’ll ever know, but many of his picks have been underwhelming objectively speaking.
  14. If that happens, I think that means Edmunds is gone.
  15. There will never be another one like him. No one will ever break his all time sack record. No one.
  16. Carlos “Boogie” Basham Jr, DE, Wake Forest 38th ranked player on Gil Brandt’s big board. Best EDGE in the draft.
